Having arrived at school much later than the rest of the first-year cohort, Heinrich was behind his peers in terms of his magical education. If asked to perform the simplest of spells like levitating an object, Heinrich would not be able to do so. Across the whole month, he had not cast a single spell from his wand but a lack of magic in his life did not seem to affect his daily life and Heinrich care less. The wand was nothing more than a useless tool in his hands, one he fumbled and spun around in his fingers whenever bored.

In the boy's hands, this supposedly powerful tool, one that was a beacon of power which could cast a fatal spell was merely harmless. Just an ordinary wooden stick. Yet panic rose in his gut when Heinrich realised in the early evening that his pockets weren't as weighted as they usually were. His wand was gone. Although the wand served no purpose to the boy, he did need the tool for class. Magic was not quite as important to him but to turn up to class without one would be quite embarrassing.

Heinrich was heading toward the castle but turned tail towards the herbology greenhouses. It was the last class he had. He was sure that it slipped from his pocket the same hour at which his ears were bursting from pitched mandrake screams. Such a pitch was almost deafening for the juvenile werewolf and who would have guessed that he was one of the first to hit the ground unconscious.

A few unanswered knocks and slightly forceful rattling of the door made it clear that the classroom was closed for the day. But as determined as he was, Heinrich would not wait. With the iconic scooby-doo graham cracked box clutched in one arm, Heinrich would find the paned windows. The eleven-year-old was of average height so the windows did not seem like much of a challenge.... or so he thought.

Michael had had Herbology last too, being a first year himself, and had noticed that the one other boy who he detected as like him, seemed to have disappeared, or well not really disappeared, he could still smell the snacks the boy always had.

The smaller boy turned, letting the smell of the snacks lead him back into the place in which he had just left, until he could spot the boy without the help of his nose. He watched him for a little bit before decided to actually get involved.

"What are you doing?" He asked the other first year, curiosity in his voice as he walked over to the boy by the windows. He knew what the boy was doing by the way he acted but the question really was, why was he doing it.

Maybe he was stealing something. Looking over the boy, though, he couldn't see him doing that at all. Hmm, maybe he had left something, yes, that was a logical conclusion. The boy problary forgot a book or something in the class and was trying to get it. But why would he need it this badly? Could he not wait? Michael was confused.

With such keen hearing that came with his lycanthropy, the pattering of distant footsteps would surely have been heard. However, Heinrich was far too occupied with finding a way to get through the magically locked doors and ajar windows and that was enough to hinder the Slytherin's presence obsolete, allowing him to close the distance unnoticed. When the boy finally spoke, a sharp yelp would emit as a product of his surprise. Instinctively flinching, Heinrich's shoulders would rise and so would his arm that held on to his most prized possession: scoobydoo 'graham crackers'. The tiny brown treats would shower the other boy who stood about half or a quarter of a head below him, scattering over his form and subsequently the ground.

A transition of varied facial expression would follow next. "I'm sorry... I- uh didn't see you t...there" Heinrich's response was in a train of nervous stutters. A grimace would appear on his face as his arm extended towards the Slytherin. Daintily, Heinrich would pluck a small piece of biscuit that had tangled into his blonde hair. With his voice barely over a whisper, he admitted,"I left my wand in there..." Once again, with a forceful tug, the window would rattle as the determined little Huffle sought for entrance. A breath of warm air would brush over his lips as he sighed in disappointment. His lower lip protruded slightly in a small disheartened pout.

"I'm sorry... I- uh didn't see you t...there" the boy said, well more like stuttered. Michael really didn't like that.

Michael didn't think he'd be very fond of hufflepuffs when he first started Hogwarts, they were known to be the nicest, the babyish. He just didn't see any way for him not to get irrated by them. So following after a hufflepuff was not something he wanted to do, but he was a wolf too.

So he followed him, and now he had bread in his hair. He closed his eyes not to say anything rude, but when the boy moved a hand to grab something from his hair he glared hard at the hufflepuff. He watched him pull on the window, trying to get in. Mic sighed, and looked around, seeing a big rock.

"Get out of the way, i got an idea" he said as he walked over and grabbed it. It was heavy in his hand and had a rough point, almost cutting his hand. The boy wasn't really in the way of the throw but he was scared to throw it anyway. "Move" he said. The boy quickly did, whether is was because of Mic's rude tone or the fact he was holding a rock.

When the window was completely cleared so he could throw without worry, he stepped back a couple steps, and threw it with all his might. The sound of the glass shattering made him smile. "There, the windows open" he said as the turned to the boy. He quickly stepped in front of him though. "Oh, wait" he said.

He unbuttoned his coat and used it to wipe the glass out of his way, then laid it on the window sill. He smiled at his work and, without a second thought, climbed into the herbology class.

He turned back and looked out at the other boy, "Need help?" He asked. To be fair as a wolf he would be able to get in fine but as a hufflepuff maybe he actually needed help. Michael would help, though he couldn't pick the other boy up to help him in, as Michael was too small. He wondered if it was werid that he was so small.

Maybe. But that was a topic for a day he wasn't at risk of getting into trouble helping a hufflepuff. He still couldn't believe he was even helping the boy. Michael didn't like hufflepuffs, but for some reason he couldn't step away and let the boy deal with this himself.

Oh great Merlin, he was acting like a Gryffindor. Not even a smart one either. He looked down at the glass on the floor. At least he can fix the window, so it wouldn't be all bad. Or at least when they were caught he hoped that would see it that way.
