Henry smiled toward his best friend as he noticed that she waited till everyone had their gifts before opening hers in his opinion what appeared to be carefully not that it mattered toward Henry since he never ripped the wrappings off either when opening a gift and actually found her way more memorial in a way.

Around then, Annabeth would wrap one arm around each identical twin boy before giving each an half hug at the same time while she whispered to them, " that is only the start, wait till the school years starts again and I send you guys a few owls," the girl would smile toward the two before leaning up against the wall again with her arms crossed and now dress folded over her arms while the shoes were being held in her right hand.

Arthur would smile witu a small nod toward Logan's aunt when she made some visible signs that she liked the gift while once Luke would hear an comment from Adam, the man would give a short nod followed by an thin smile before saying " while the children are distracted with their gifts or another means, would you like to continue are conversation from earlier?"

Not paying attention toward his father as his eyes were now on Logan hoeing that she liked her gifts; two that he created by hand. The first was an memory board that he created for the girl as a place to store photos or trinkets, the second item was an cat bracelet which wasn't his best work but still pretty good for being homemade, and the third was an horse bracelet that he saw in a store in Liverpool and knew at once that he had to get it for his best friend.

Feeling the hug of his best friend and words before hugging her back while he spoke " I'm glad you like them," smiling a little and after they let go the boy would take out two photos, that he took during their first year together, from his pockets handed them to his best friend while he spoke " the first two pictures for your memory board."

Logan pulled back from Henry a bit and laughed at the pictures of the two of them, she hadn't even realized that the pictures had been taken in the first place. "Thank you Henry," the Hufflepuff laughed as she threw her arms around the boy a second time. She was okay if the pictures ended up a little crinkled, it just meant that they were well loved. The girl quickly pulled away though when she remembered that she needed to ask her father something. "Father, can we go for a ride down to the lake and back? I promise we will be careful," Logan questioned as she looked at her father with a pleading look on her face. She really wanted Henry to have the experience of horseback riding, or a sleigh ride if enough people wanted to come.

Adam Baird glanced up at his daughter and sighed, as it would distract them and give him time to talk to Luke. "Fine, but you have to ask if they all want to go and for goodness sake, do not take Jupiter out." The man responded to his daughter, he didn't want the girl to be thrown while it was dark out, no matter how well the girl was able to handle herself.

Rorik and Alexander glanced over at Annabeth, giving her the decision of whether they went with Logan or not. They didn't care either way because they could ride down the the lake whenever they wanted. Hannah Baird on the other hand just shook her head at her niece. "I think I am going to help Kall clean up, he may enjoy it but even a house elf needs a bit of a break on Christmas." No matter how much the house elf would protest, Hannah Baird always insisted on helping. It was amusing to everyone else in the family.

Henry felt his best friend hug him again briefly noticing that she was wrinkling the photos but wasn't bothered by the fact while he hugged her back for a moment, squeezing her a bit tightly with a wide smile on his face while he replied to her, " I'm glad you like them Logan," smiling toward the girl before letting her go and picking up the fox necklace as he place it over his head and under his shirt where it laid hidden touching the rusted sun pendant that laid hidden underneath his shirt that was a gift from his mother.

Henry organized the other two gifts in front of him before turning his eyes toward his father and Logan's father while she posed the question if they could go riding. The twelve year old wasn't sure if his friend's pleading eyes worked but let out a breath when her father said they could but also not to take a certain horse out which meant it was Henry's time to ask for permission like he cared what his father would say, the but valued his brothers word more since he was the one whom basically raised him and his twin after their mum died.

"Father could I go riding with Logan? We'll be safe and won't cause any trouble," Henry spoke whole siding eyeing his brother to see what he would say and a small smile appeared on his face when his brother nodded slightly with a smile.

"Fine just stay out of trouble and don't do anything childish," Luke spoke causing a small nod from Henry, his father's words were expected before turning to Logan with a smile on his face.

" Shall we continue our talk, Adam?" Luke asked while Annabeth merely rolled her eyes at the commotion before gesturing toward the identical twins as she whispered, " let's go to your room and plan some more mischief," by plan the girl meant she would tell the twins her mischievous plan and they would go through with them with her.

Annabeth would jog up the stairs toward the identical twins room still holding the two gifts and expecting the two boy's to he following her.

When Logan's aunt mentioned she would be cleaning up and helping the house elf, Arthur would get up and immediately start helping the women while he spoke " here let me help you Miss Baird, that's a nice and I agree with you that house elf's should have a break sometimes," Arthur usually was mature and often helped with such things like cleaning and cooking so the young adult wasn't bothered to help.

Loki would quickly survey Henry and a few others in the family room before walking out of the room and going back to follow Sherlock.

Once his father and Logan's would leave the room and less people remained in the family room was when Henry picked up the riding helmet before turning Logan as he spoke " ready to go riding then? I can break in this helmet now," gesturing to the helmet with a quick smile before looking over at his brother helping Logan's aunt with the cleaning while he spoke to him, " do you want to come along Art? It will be bloodu fun and a break from the studying you'll been doing," the boy was talking about his brothers Auror training with a smile toward him whole Arthur spoke " that's fine plus it isn't fair to leave Hannah cleaning alone on Christmas."

Henry would get up from the couch still holding the riding helmet and would wait for Logan before start walking as he replied toward his brother, " are you sure Art? I'm sure you can help Miss Baird after riding."

Logan grinned at Henry as she pretty much bounced in place. She was excited to go out riding with Henry, and maybe Arthur. She glanced over at her aunt who only looked at Arthur with a shake of her head. "Go enjoy time with your brother and Logan. Kal has probably started cleaning everything up already." Hannah Baird would tell the boy with a small laugh, the woman wouldn't want to keep the younger male from enjoying Christmas with his brother.

The Hufflepuff girl glanced at her best friend with a grin on her face. "Meet me at the back door once you get an answer from Arthur. I need to run up and grab my helmet from my room," she informed the boy. Logan hadn't even realized that her brothers had disappeared along with her father and Henry's father. The twins and Annabeth were probably causing trouble and she assumed the fathers were talking with each other. She didn't think much of it though, and grinned one last time at Henry before taking off out of the room and up the two flights of stairs to her room.

The Hufflepuff felt kind of bad about leaving Henry down there, but she needed to grab her helmet and wanted Henry to wait for Arthur. She hadn't been wearing her helmet when she was out riding early, but since her father knew where she was at this time, she didn't want to get in trouble for not having it.

While in her room, Logan grabbed her boots off of her bed and threw them on as well, no point in ruining a pair of flats if she was already up there. Luckily, it took the girl very little time as she took off down the second set of stairs that lead to the back door, nearly falling down them in the process.

Henry moved his eyes from his brother to Logan's aunt, hearing her words before looking back at Arthur as the boy replied " Are you sure you don't need any help, Miss Baird? I don't mind staying," Henry knew it would take a bit longer to convince his brother so the twelve year old would nod toward Logan with a smile he spoke " back door got it."

Watching his best friend disappear up the stairs before noticing his twin along with the identical twin boys were gone as well. Both fathers were gone as well not that Henry cared really so he turned back to his older brother and went back to trying to convince him as he spoke " it will be fun and a well deserved break from your auror training," taking a quick pause before continuing " you don't always have to help Art and she even told you to join us. Trust me you'll love it and won't feel that bad leaving."

Henry had a wide smile on his face still trying to convince his brother to join Logan and him in riding as Arthur spoke " repeating your self and begging won't help you merlin," with a laugh Arthur ruffled Henry's hair a before the twelve year old would step back with a laugh and straighten his hair as he spoke " worth a try," however Arthur looked like he was deciding or thinking at the very least until the young adult finally spoke " are you certain that you don't need help Miss Baird? Honestly, : then after listening to her answer the boy would speak "I'll guess I will join you guys at riding then."

Henry would bounce a few times on his feet and fist pump the air once or twice before speaking " that took a while but worth it," before the boy made a neat pile of his journal and Arthur's gifts on the couch. The fox necklace laid under his shirt with the pendant hidden from view while his new riding helmet under his arm.

Arthur made sure his wand was his pocket before addressing Logan's aunt, " it was nice meeting you Miss Baird and I still wish I could help you with the cleaning," before Henry led Arthur to the back door and both boys waited there for Logan.

Logan shot down the stairs leading to the back of the house, boot clad feet sliding against the hardwood. The sound of the girl running down the steps could be heard throughout the house as she tripped down the last few steps with a grin on her face. For being a dancer, she fell quite often. "Let's go!" Logan cheered a bit as she made it to the bottom of the steps where Henry and Arthur stood.

The Hufflepuff threw the backdoor open and stepped out into the cold air. At this point there was a fine layer of snow over the ground, the sky almost dark at this point. "Thank you for joining us Arthur. I think you will enjoy this." Logan spun around and walked on her tiptoes as she walked ahead of the other two. She was happy to be spending time with her best friend and his brother, honestly Logan could see herself viewing Arthur as if he was her older brother in the future.

Feeling the chilled wind blowing her hair around and the soft snowflakes hitting her face, Logan only grinned and spun back around to face where she was going. There was no need for her to trip and injure herself before she even got to the barn, then there was no point in going for a ride.

Logan stuck her tongue out at Henry as she laughed. "If you must know Henry, it is only like the seventh time I have tripped today." She told the boy with a laugh as she walked out the back door, helmet in hand. She smiled at the two as she skipped along the path towards the stable. She knew the path by heart, but made sure to slow down for the two boys as it was starting to become dark, the stars already visible.

"Thank you for coming with us Arthur. I feel like I need to get along with at least one of Henry's siblings." The Hufflepuff had a grin on her face as she turned to look where she was going, already able to see the barn from where they were. As she walked, she flipped her hair over her head and slipped her helmet on, clipping it in place quickly. One thing checked off the list of things she would need to get done. "Henry, you are going to get Venus and Arthur, you get Mars. They are probably the calmest of our horses, plus they are rather lazy."

Venus and Mars were two of the horses that Logan trusted the most on the property, right after Polaris. You could be screaming and the horses would just stand there like nothing was happening. At this point Logan could hear the horses slightly moving around in their stalls, a larger grin forming on her face at the thought of going for a ride down to the lake. She just needed to decide what horse she was going to take.

Logan only rolled her eyes at the boy as they made their way up to the barn. "I don't want your father to hate me because you broke a bone," the girl laughed as she made her way into the well lit barn. At the sound of her voice, multiple of the horses looked out of their stalls at the girl, including Venus and Mars.

"Arthur, meet Macey, Clementine, Mars, Venus, Jupiter, Mercury, Polaris, and in that last stall is little Olly." Logan pointed out to each of the horses, Olly's ears could just be seen over the stall door, making Logan laugh as she made her way to him to rub between his ears. At this point, he was the only horse she was taller than. The girl had decided that she was going to take Mercury out, as she hadn't gotten to take him out for any rides recently and knew he got along well with Mars and Venus.

"Henry, on the shelf right inside the door to the tack room there should be a helmet, can you grab it for Arthur?" Logan questioned as she made her way over to Mars and Venus' stalls to let them out. The horses only shook their heads and nudged her as the stepped out of their stalls, looking at the new person with interest.
