Let's do something fun
After Haley had quickly gone to her dormitory, she sat down on the bed for a moment. She only had ten minutes and was correspondingly out of breath. She stowed away her sheet music and briefly considered whether she should change her clothes. But she didn't have time and decided that her outfit would be thick enough for outside and so she jumped back down the stairs into the common room and made her way quickly down through the castle towards the courtyard.
Once outside, she felt the cold air in her nose and took a deep breath. She looked across the courtyard but couldn't see Kayden yet. She was sure that he would be there soon and walked on at a slow pace. She passed a few students and looked for a comfortable seat. But as usual she found herself at the end again in one of the stone arches and hopped up to sit on the wall.
She was curious to see what the rest of the afternoon would bring for her and her new acquaintance. Do something for fun, she repeated in her head. There were many things to do and Haley was curious to see what Kayden had in mind. But she was sure she would not be disappointed. In that short time, she could already see so many things in common that this could only be a fun afternoon.
And as she sat there brooding, she saw a familiar face enter the courtyard. She raised her arm and called out as loud as she could, "Hey Kayden, over here!" All faces turned to her, of course, and she started laughing. "I mean that Kayden." She now shouted, pointing at him. Some smirked at Haley's comment, others shook their heads and went back to what they were doing before.
