Opeila smiled at Paige, when she asked how Loras was. "He is- was... right behind me? ...Ah, over there." She pointed to the fountain, where the grey cat warily eyed the water. Opeila watched him for a few seconds, making sure that he wouldn't fall in the next moment. That would have been very like him. The Slytherin turned back to Paige, who offered her a cupcake. "Sure, thank you!" She took one and looked at the icing, which also had the motto of her... could one call it manifestation?... on it.
The first year Slytherin went on talking. Opeila could only shake her head. "Excuse me- are you even listening to yourself? Are you actually comparing someone's religion, which gives them comfort and something to hold on to, to your belief that you are better than others?" Opeila always had a rather short temper, but she tried to hold it together. "Now you are just victimizing yourself. Leaning yourself back on the way you were raised, what are you, a toddler? Are you not person enough to have opinions that were not put into your mouth by others? Stop trying to present yourself as helpless now."
Opeila turned to Paige. "To you- I get why you are doing this, but this problem has existed for centuries and I am afraid this won't solve it. Instead you put a target on your back to kick for all blood purists in Hogwarts. Just so you are aware, but of course you are entitled to have your opinion." She eyed the Slytherin again. "As do you, I guess, but honestly, if you can't... well... practice you beliefs without being an ass, practice them silently or among people who share them. Most of Hogwarts won't show respect for them."
Illowy also reprimanded the girl and Opeila silently agreed. Her own father, who was a muggle, suffered so much only because of his birth... She didn't even know if he was still alive. It all fueled her anger about the younger girl's ignorance.
Opeila had ignored Michael's suggestion of making a club so far, and now it was another who answered to it. A familiar face, Kazuo Shimada, who had helped her in the errand. She nodded at his comment.

Paige sighed but smiled as she took down the flyers. She crumbled them and placed them in a garbage bag. No one seemed to understand she was trying to be noticed... it was complicated. But Paige was the drama queen. It's what she does. It should be her job. She's great at it.
She pulled on a blue sweater over her shirt. She dumped the cupcakes in the trash but took out a container of warm chocolate chip cookies which she asked for just because we was at the kitchens. She pulled one out and took a bit before handing out the container to the rest.
"Here, want one?"
She continued with the flyers until they were all in the trash. This was fun. She enjoyed it. But everyone took it down.
Why? Paige was being an ass. Apparently. She saw that,but still. Sadly none of her friends showed up so no one backed her up. Literally no one.
Sighh. She eyed the three, Illowy, Jennifer, and Opeila who Paige wasn't sure if she was involved in the little fight going on over there. She certainly hoped Illowy would win. That would be interesting. She collected everything and walked away.

Michael frowned as he watched Paige, going and hugging her. "P, your idea was great, and if you do make a club, I'll join. I know we had our ups and downs, but you're my friend." He smiled.
He looked into the trash, frowning again. "If you want next time if you do this again, we can make it like bloody red and more. . together orange?" He joked.
He hoped she was okay. He turned to Jennifer. He walked over. "And you, you can take your beliefs and leave. People like you are why thousands of muggle borns still feel excluded. You can hold firm to your beliefs, but you can't trash anothers. Leave before you leave with burn marks" he said, He had enough. This wasn't someone protecting their beliefs, it was someone using them to hurt others.
He wasn't going to let some wanna be malfoy hurt his friend and keep trying to make herself the victim. He was angry that someone was trashes the pureblood name once again with hatred for no reason. It ruined everything P.U.R.E. standed for and for a member to do this? It hurt his pride, to see someone do this.

Lucia Fox had no idea what was going on. She'd only entered the courtyard in order to make her way across to the Owlery - she even had a small bundle of letters in her bag ready to send off - but was quickly distracted by... "A protest?"
She made to walk quickly past, not wanting to be involved with anything that proclaimed Muggles Are Humans Too!, but then heard words directed at a familiar face.
Some first year - wait, wasn't he the one who organised the Truth or Dare game? - was telling Jennifer King to "Leave before you leave with burn marks."
Lucia knew Jennifer a little, from pureblood events and the Kings visiting Ebony's shop once or twice, but couldn't understand why she was being told off by a boy her own age. What had she done? In the corner of her eye, Lucia spotted the brown-haired girl who appeared to be organising the event finish handing out her leaflets - seriously? leaflets? - and wisely begin to pack up. Oh, wait, Lucia knew this girl too! What was her name... Paige. At the Truth or Dare event a few days ago, Paige had blurted to Lucia how she had nightmares about being afraid that her dad would kidnap her. Okay...
Lucia realised that she couldn't leave Jennifer to face all this alone - though she wasn't quite sure what the younger girl was actually facing - and made her way over, adjusting the strap of her bag over one shoulder. "Uh, Jennifer?" she called once she got close enough, "What's going on?" She frowned as she took in the collection of students, including a third-year whom Lucia was pretty sure was a duellist. Merlin... This wouldn't end well.

"I can leave when I want. " Muggles. Disgrace. Nothing like your grandfather getting sick. The nearest hospital was a muggle one and he refused to go to a magic one. He didn't survive under their care. Jenny had been holding his hand, resulting in her sight of threstals. And the fact that that was how she was raised and if she didn't uphold the family's belief, she was a disgrace. So she stuck with how she was raised and she wasn't ashamed.
She looked up as a friendly acquaintance from the gatherings at her manor walked up. Jenny tried to remember... Lucia. That's right. Lucia must of been one who heard the news about her grandfather in the care of Muggles, too. " Hi, Lucia. I'm just being told my beliefs are old, and wrong. You know there are reasons that I would prefer not to share in why I hate Muggles more than others." She crossed her arms.
She faced Michael. Ohhhh. He was the founder of P.U.R.E. Why was he telling her to leave? It was so nice out, the perfect day for a perfect argument. "There's got to be someone who still upholds the beliefs I do."

Kazuo watched Paige begin to clean up her flyers, even going so far as to throw out the perfectly good cupcakes for no reason the boy could fathom except to be dramatic. He sighed and shook his head in disappointment. Just another attention seeker using a very real issue as fodder for their narcissism. Well it wasn’t his problem if Paige wanted to so readily abandon her cause in the face of even the smallest amount of criticism.
He turned his gaze back to the girl who was being thoroughly assaulted by the gathered students. She had earned her tongue lashing with her mannerless insults. Michael's threat hung in the air and Kazuo rolled his eyes.
"Unless you want prefects and professors involved, I wouldn't suggest escalating, Miller. We're in the courtyard, not an empty classroom."
As he murmured the warning, Lucia, another housemate approached, seeming to know the blood purist. He listened as King continued to play victim, lips curving upward in amusement.
"You really enjoy playing the victim, don't you?" Kazuo drew himself up, stepping closer to the pureblood girl, adressing her directly. "You stand here throwing insults then cry foul the moment someone stands up for themselves. It must be hard to live a pampered and privileged life where you've never had to deal with being told that you're wrong. Blood purism is a false theory predicated on narcissistic identities. You parrot what you were taught without question because to question it means to question your right to claim privileges that come from segregation and bigotry. You have no greater right to wield magic than anyone else born with it. If anything, I would say your ignorant bigotry makes you less deserving than those others who strive for success when people like you are constantly throwing roadblocks in front of them instead of lifting them up."
He paused, smirking at Jennifer, eyes shining with amusement. "Like every other bigoted pureblood I've met so far, you seem completely ignorant of the role purebloods should play in wizard society. What a waste of potential. And in a Slytherin no less."

It seemed like @Jennifer King was the problem. As May listened to her words, she bacame more and more angry with the black haired purebloodist Slytherin. "We are in Hogwarts for Merlins sake.", she said, her anger rising. "If you cant live with Half-bloods, Muggleborns and purebloods, what the hell are you doing here?"
@Kazuo Shimada , a guy that May had met in the common room after an odd incident made a great speech about what an odd idea it was to have two clubs. "Thanks, Kazuo. I'm one of the members of this club and also think that two clubs would be quite...odd." she smiled at @Paige Chase , then noticing that the Ravenclaw girl dumped everything into a nearby trash. Wincing, May turned again to look at @Opeila Winters and @Illowy Magnard, who both seemed to be talking some sense too into this. Jennifer was becoming more and more agressive, thought, and May didn't like the looks of that girl at all.
"If you really think that purebloods are so damn important and that we are crap, why are you even here." she said, her wand in her hand. "Oh, and you, @Lucia Fox, I thought that you were a Hufflepuff. Why don't you talk sense into this stupid girl?" She pointed at Jennifer, even when she was talking with a girl that she had barely met because of the duelling club and because she was a Hufflepuff too. How could they both even be friends?

♡ interacting with @Jennifer King and the group ♡frosty's outfit! [with school robes on top]ReducioAnother day, another patrol. There had been flyers about the courtyard, one for the fight of unfairness toward muggles. A girl had even handed her one and went on her way. During the rest of her patrol around the Hogwarts courtyard, she saw that same girl along with a few people now in a group.
In a few moments, Frost was close enough to start hearing arguments, along with the word 'mudblood'. The Hufflepuff's eyebrows furrowed. Not only was that against the school rules, but it was a narrow-minded way of thinking. Nobody deserved to be called such a name, or be judged by their blood status. Another few moments and she was there at the scene. A few other people were retaliating against the girl who had used such a dirty insult. As she approached, they might feel a small wave of calm come. (CALMING PRESENCE ABILITY ACTIVE TO COOL THE GROUP DOWN)
"Excuse me," the prefect spoke, kindly. Her eyes met Jennifer's, she had seemed a few years younger than her, Frost made a mental note of her house for when she would soon hand her a detention. Frost had caught her name from Lucia, a girl on her dueling team. "I'll be owling you about a detention, calling someone that is strictly not allowed in this school," she spoke to Jennifer.
Before escorting Jennifer away, she faced the rest of them. "It is okay to respond with logic and reasoning, but please don't fight back with more fire. It will only escalate things," her words mostly meant for the boy (Michael) who threatened her with fire and the girl (May) who had just called her stupid. "Now, if you all will, carry on. Try not to get yourselves into trouble," The older Hufflepuff was mostly joking.
Gently, Frost would escort Jennifer away from the group, smiling warmly and waving a goodbye to the rest.thread left with jenniferHiya! I would just like to say that nobody is actually in trouble, except for Jennifer King in character. (P.S for Jennifer, expect an owl from me containing the detention details and rules)

"I understand we are in Hogwarts!" She went to Lucia's side. "You leave Lucia alone!" She backed up as a tall boy- taller than Jenny (which is a surprise being as she is tall.) - walked up to her. He threw many insults at her, leaving her speechless as he sneered at her.
The old Jennifer would cry. A waste of potential. The old Jennifer would walk away. But that was before grandfather died in the hands of muggles. She could feel the anger boiling up inside of her. "You! Do you understand anything?! NO! None of you guys understand ANYTHING! Muggles don't belong here, and there's a reason I don't have to say besides the way I was raised that I believe that."
She turned to the boy, and jabbed his chest with her finger. "And I am not a waste." She opened her mouth to say some more but was cut off. Her anger melted away leaving her calm and annoyed. She didn't want to feel calm! If she did, she would do yoga.

With that rousing defense of her small-minded bigotry, King jabbed a finger into his chest. Kazuo sighed in disappointment at her angry, pointless retort. She hadn't even attempted to offer some sort of justification for her opinion. Booooring.
"And I am not a waste."
He looked down at the offensive digit, wrinkling his nose in disgust at the forwardness of the act. "Ne~ Ne~ Is touching really necessary?" He inquired with a raised brow and a smirk. Unfortunately, he would be unable to comment any further on the Purity Princess's response as Cira-senpai, one of his own House's prefects, arrived on the scene. Though he hadn't had much reason to interact with her, what he had seen of her gaze him the impression that she was a more level-headed type. Her reaction to the situation only reinforced that impression. He tilted his head slightly, giving King an amused smirk as she was scolded and escorted away from the group. Not exactly how he had expected the situation to resolve but interesting nonetheless. He had known, of course, that using the word 'mudblood' as a slur wasn't permitted but this was the first time he'd seen someone actually get in trouble for it.
Kazuo glanced around at the assembled students then shrugged and cast his gaze back to where Eirian had been waiting. "That was diverting." He said to no one in particular. With Chase having abandoned her mission, students had already started to disperse and so he chose to do the same, giving a wave to the others as he walked away. "Otsukare~"
