Gia walked through the corridors, looking carefully at everyone she passed. The girl needed to find a certain Hufflepuff - and quickly, at that. She didn't want to keep everyone back in the Rehearsal Room waiting for too long, they would wonder where she was and what she was doing. Looking at every face she passed became quite annoying very fast, however, and after a couple minutes without any luck, the first year decided to ask around instead. It would definitely be a lot faster. . . or at least, she was hoping it would be.

"Hi, have you seen Simon Kincaid anywhere?" the eleven year old asked after stopping another student who looked like a first year. The boy shook his head, gave her a strange look, and then continued on his way. He didn't even say a single word, Gia groused to herself. But that didn't matter right now, and her attention soon turned to another student that was passing her. "Do you know Simon Kincaid?" the brunette asked hopefully. She honestly had no clue how many people the Hufflepuff boy had met over the past few months, but she was praying that she'd at least run into someone he'd talked to before.

"No, I don't believe so. . . can you describe him for me?" Gia was drawn away from her thoughts and back to the present by the girl standing next to her, and quickly hurried to do as the older student said. When she was done, the Gryffindor waited impatiently for the girl to respond again. "Actually, yes, I believe I have." was her answer. The first year looked up in surprise.

"Really?" The older girl nodded. "Can you tell me which direction he was going in?" The other student thought for a few minutes, and then pointed Gia further down the corridor they were standing in. "Thanks!" the brunette said, and hurried away. In only a couple of minutes, she spotted her friend turning the corner. Taking a deep breath, the young girl suddenly burst through the crowd of people separating them, shouting, "SIMON!"

When she reached the boy, Gia's eyes were wide and she pointed back the way she came as urgently as she could. "Simon, you need to follow me quickly, alright?" she asked, her voice sounding panicked enough that the others around them all turned to stare. The eleven year old didn't really mind, however, she felt that it gave a more realistic sense to the whole performance. Hopping from one foot to the other as she waited very, very impatiently for her friend to reply, Gia hoped that her acting skills were good enough to fool him.
