Group B: Ravenclaw vs. Slytherin
Illowy would've loved to have gotten the chance to see those spells hit, though she wouldn't be able to tell if it was her's, his, or both; that satisfaction was stripped somewhat when Cel cast her lumos maxima, bathing the lot of the room in light. The after image that skewed her vision of which was nothing short of annoying; but she was pleased that when she heard Mars speak to their teammate, there was no response.
However when a quip from the mere eaglet was directed towards the snakes, "The show has only begun." she assured, trying to blink away the after images from the light. No matter. Illowy wasn't someone to concede or back down. She wasn't like other Slytherins who had a sense of self preservation, and she wouldn't be shaken.
I was told I was dangerous. When I asked why, they said, "Because you don't need anyone." That's when I smiled.

Group B: Ravenclaw vs. Slytherin
Sparks were flying out of the tip of his wand or was he merely seeing sparks because of the blinding light that was produced out of nowhere by one of the opponents? The truth was that it didn't matter to Erik. If he was merely human it might have been a very strategic and cunning blow, but he wasn't. Oh no, he was far superior then that. Even though he might have lost his sight he still had his sense of smell to locate his prey, his hearing to listen to the crackling sound of incomming spells, incantations and his wits. Three things that would make him come out of top. Things might have taken a turn, but he was not of the fight. He wouln't let them. With a murderous glare thrown at his prey he bared his teeth at them as he prepared himself for the next round.

Things were beginning to become more intense now. The first round had left the duellists with some disadvantages, but that didn't stop anyone from barreling into this round with the determination of one thousand rhinos.
Unfortunately, one such Ravenclaw could not contribute much to this round. While Celynne had casted a lovely spell last round, she was muted and Amadea observed as the girl twisted her body in anticipation for a spell that would not come. The Slytherins seemed to be more focused on Mars during this round, a contrast from their first round. Mars was less than passive, though, casting a successful Bubble Producing Spell headed straight toward Illowy. Immediately, bubbles sprouted around the girl; Amadea imagined it would be quite difficult for her to dodge anything now, especially with the light still from Lumos Maxima as well.
While Mars was able to evade Erik's fire spell, avoiding Illowy's spell proved to be more difficult. It seemed fair enough, to Amadea. Mars hit Illowy, Illowy hit Mars. An eye for an eye, one could say. Mars would soon find themself ridden with a terrible stuffy nose and waves of nausea. Amadea felt for the Ravenclaw; the Curse of the Bogies was no fun to deal with.
Lots had happened in this round, though no one had actually dealt any damage in this duel. Perhaps that would be in store in the next round. Things were getting exciting, and Amadea stood in anticipation, ready to see what strategies the teams would take in the next round.

Group B: Ravenclaw vs. Slytherin
Erik was eagerly awaiting the screams of his poor unsuspecting victim as he produced the fire making spell at him. He waited and waited until he could no more. Something had gone wrong. As he looked over at the Raven he had intended to hurt he was fuming. His spell had missed all thanks to that other Ravennerd who he quickly deemed as a nuisance. To be fair in the Slytherin's eyes the same could've been said about his very teammate, but that was another matter entirely.
A bloodthirsty growl could be heard at the back of his throat as he eyed his victims. At had been foolish, but brave of them to step into the ring with him. Little did they know that he wasn't locked up with them, but it was the other way around. It didn't matter however. They would figure it out eventually of that he had no doubt. They were deemed the smartest people on Hogwarts. With a hard grip around his wand his knuckles turned white as he noticed that the nuisance that was deemed his "teammate" got hit by another spell. Come on, Magnard! This isn't Pokémon. We are not trying to collect them all. Focus!

Group B: Ravenclaw vs. Slytherin
-Well, nothing more she could do than make sure that they didn't hit her now. Unfortunately and as expected, neither of them aimed for Cel, and she winced as one spell hit—that couldn't be fun, she'd been under the influence of the Curse of the Bogies more than once and it hadn't been an experience she was ready to try again.
On the upside, the golden bubbles that burst from the tip of Mars's wand shot straight towards the Slytherins, and the magic binding her tongue finally began to loosen. "Are you all right?" she asked, though it was more of a courtesy than anything, eyes still trained on their opponents. They did seem to be bickering a lot, but that didn't mean they didn't have to watch out. Taking a breath, she raised her wand again.-

Group B: Ravenclaw vs. Slytherin
Success! Mars stared in faint awe as the bubbles burst from their wand, swirling in a torrent around Illowy. They grinned—look at me now, Professor Zahid. I actually found a use for these things.
Slightly too giddy from the rush of casting, they barely looked up in time to see a red flame spiraling towards them. Eyes widening, Mars realized this wasn't the normal Incendio. Sh*t, move! They swept to the side, heart hammering, blessing their reflexes. Thank god for the last match—all the work seemed to be paying off.
Unfortunately, their hasty flail landed them right in the path of Illowy's return. Immediately, Mars felt their eyes start to water, a trickle of snot coming out of their nose. Wiping it away, they glanced at it in disgust.
"Can't you be more original?" they exclaimed, exasperated. How many times had this spell been used before? Countless, probably. Sighing, they shot Cel a grin.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. A cold can't keep me down." Yet. Waving away the thought, they turned back to their opponents. Time to return the favor.

Group B: Ravenclaw vs. Slytherin
A flash of confusion crossed Illowy's features for a moment as golden bubbles started sprouting on her person. All it took was a small attempt to shake one off her arm before she rolled her eyes in annoyance. That certainly was a new tactic she hadn't expected to see put to use.
The girl flashed her partner a look that could kill when he opened his mouth... though it was quickly replaced with another look of confusion as to what the hell he was talking about, "Pokemon? Tharaldson did you take a shot to the head or something when I wasn't looking?" she quipped back.
At the very least, she got the satisfaction of hear the slightest chance of voice in Mars as their nose was stuffed up. That meant her spell hit, which was more then she could say for Erik. His miss was more then disappointing despite the effects they were both suffering from the Lumos. She exspected nothing less then the best, from both him and herself. At least she hadn't let herself down, and could relish in some success from her hit, "Someone gets grumpy when they don't feel good." she chuckled at Mars' plea to 'be more original'.
I was told I was dangerous. When I asked why, they said, "Because you don't need anyone." That's when I smiled.

If Amadea had thought the last round had been intense, this one blew the past round out of the water by a thousand yards. Both teams seemed to have taken the strategy of targeting one specific person; perhaps they thought casting two spells toward the person would give better odds of one hitting.
For the Ravenclaws, this turned out to be a great strategy. Mars fired off another Bubble Producing Spell, this one seeming even more powerful than the last. Amadea watched as the Slytherin was hit, yet again and the bubbles began piling up. Celynne cast Curse of the Bogies at Illowy and this spell also hit the Slytherin. Amadea cringed; she felt so badly that the Slytherin was not only encased by bubbles but would also start feeling nauseous and stuffy in a few seconds.
Both Slytherins aimed their spells toward Celynne but this strategy didn't seem to work out as better for them. Illowy was at quite a disadvantage due to the bubbles and Erik was still recovering from the light spell; unfortunately for them, the Ravenclaw was able to evade both of their spells albeit closely.
The duel was heating up and Amadea was excited to see what was going to happen next.

Group B: Ravenclaw vs. Slytherin
-As her own spell fired from the tip of her wand, Cel felt the two jets of light aimed at her sail harmlessly past, thanking the fact that she was a small target. A cascade of more golden bubbles descended on the same target, and she grinned in satisfaction as her curse landed. "Karma, I guess," she shrugged, reaching out to high-five her partner.
Apart from the cold, Mars seemed unharmed. How long would they last under that spell? She didn't know, but there wasn't much she could do about it right now. Cel herself had been completely unscathed, save for the brief duration of the tongue-tying spell, since the start of the duel. She widened her stance and raised her wand again.-
