My darling Anastasia,

I'm glad that you've been keeping busy, but I must ask... I noticed a few extra words in your letter that were rather concerning. An abduction? Darling, what on earth has been happening at Hogwarts? Please, dear lord, I certainly hope it wasn't you... do I need to speak to Headmaster Lear about the safety measures at Hogwarts? I can't believe they would let something so horrible happen, and that parents weren't alerted about it. I understand not wanting them to panic, but they have a right to know about their children's safety.

I'm rather proud of you, and thoroughly impressed with your performance at the match! You'll have to tell me all about it during your stay over the winter holiday, in detail. Of course, I'm more than a little disappointed in Slytherin's performance (I was of house Slytherin back in the day, you know) but I imagine they'll bounce back, ready to go for the next match. But I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying yourself with Quidditch! I expect you'll lead the team in goals scored in no time at all.

Congratulations on the pointe combination! You'll have to show me during the holidays, although I'm not sure the floors in our flat are quite conducive to ballet. I've always admired ballerinas, although I haven't had the chance to properly sit down and watch a ballet these recent years. Work with the Muggles, especially during this virus now, is quite taxing... but hopefully, it'll all blow over soon, and maybe we could go and see one together.

Scout has been becoming quite the rascal, recently. I wonder what's gotten into him? Perhaps he's getting lonely, staying at home so often. My husband has moved to London (for good this time, he claims) so at least I'm not quite as lonely as I have been. It may only be November, but the pair are already singing Christmas carols at the top of their lungs. I think they're jumping the gun a little, but it's still endearing to see Scout cooing along with his father.

Please write soon,
Abella Marie
