Outfit
Paige yawned as she walked. She had woken up extra early for this. Today was one her closest friends Birthday. Simon Kincaid's. Of course, it was also Valentine's Day. She had to consider that some might be busy today but in the end she got some people who said they could come. She never realized how hard it is to write multiple of the same letter without a copy machine. But had got the job done. And she carried a bag of decorations.
She opened the door to the rehearsal room. She smiled to herself. "This will have to do, I suppose." She would love if they could do it outside. Really she would. But this wasn't Her birthday. No, it was Simon's. And he did not like the sun. No, not at all. So here she was. The first thing she had to do was take out the table cloth. She unfolded some tables at the side and pushed them around. By the time she was finished with the tables, she was already out of breath. She lay down the table cloth and threw some Confetti in the middle of the table.
On another table was another fun table cloth. She put down a couple of presents and her card on there. The others would place their presents there for Simon. On another table were all different color cups. She brought Valentine's Day cupcakes for the others and would later have some lemon drops for Simon. She had water, and punch. Sho had fun straws and on the table with confetti she placed napkins all around.

Haley woke up and was more tired than she had been in a long time. She had spent the last night getting the gift for Simon ready and since she was way too short with it, the whole thing had erupted into a bit of chaos. After turning the whole dorm upside down and searching the infinite books for a very special one, one of her friends who had helped her, had found it after what felt like an eternity. Haley wrote a small note on the first page of the book, and even though it already looked very used, she wanted to give this to Simon for a special reason. Next to the book Haley wrote a few words on a parchment and packed these things paired with a small bag of lemondrops in a small blue bag and tied it shut at the opening.
However, this was not all she had left to do for the coming day. She wanted to make at least a small contribution to Paige's surprise and decided to make a selfmade banner. She was incredibly grateful to her two friends for staying up with her and actively assisting in the process. Haley knew it wasn't perfect, but there was a lot of love in it.
But now she had to get upt. Haley yawned loudly and before she could turn around she got up and stood under the cold shower to wake up. But even that didn't really help her, but she had to get through it. She put on a pair of black jeans, T-shirt and shoes, packed her bag and the gift for Simon and made her way to the rehearsal room.
Arriving there, she already saw Paige who had already done quite a bit. Haley smiled at her, they didn't know each other well yet but Haley hoped she could help her with the preparations. "Hey Paige, how are you?" Haley meanwhile put down her bag and placed her present on the table that looked like it was meant for presents and then got her banner out of her bag. "I wanted to add at least a little to the decorations." She showed Paige the banner and looked around for a suitable place for it, "What do you think? Where would that fit well?" She looked around for a good spot for some more time and then hung the banner.

By now Haley's tiredness was gone and last night was not too noticeable. She turned to Paige, "Is there anything else I can help you with?"

Valentine's Day, Alexa thought as she walked down the corridor with Henry, headed to the Rehearsal Room to see if they could help set up for Simon's surprise birthday party. She had her small gift for him, all she could afford, in a small bag at her side. Inside was a silver box, and a bag of lemon drops. It still made her heart lurch to think of lemon drops. Alina had loved them.
But while her best friend was gone now, she had made other good friends, like Henry and Simon. Of course, she wished things with Henry would progress to more than a friendship, that he seemed oblivious to her feelings. Not maliciously at all, he just didn't seem to realize. Or maybe, she thought wryly, he just didn't return her affections. Which had hurt at first. But she had had two months to collect herself now, and she was just happy to be his friend at the moment. Though thoughts of Valentine's Day did keep intruding occasionally…
As they walked toward their destination, Alexa chatted with Henry about their pets, and their current competition. "Believe it or not, I've gotten Rascal to rollover now!" Her pet rat was perched on her shoulder, and chattered happily at the sound of his name. "He's so smart. But so is Loki! I don't know which of us will win," she laughed.
They arrived at the Rehearsal Room, and Alexa stepped gingerly inside. Except for when she had quickly given Alexa her invitation, Alexa had not seen Paige since their disastrous encounter on the Hogwarts Express. Seeing the other girl, Alexa smiled timidly and waved. "Hi Paige. Anything we can do to help?" Alexa caught sight of another girl she didn't know; not that that was a surprise. Alexa hardly knew anyone here at Hogwarts, despite having been here two years already. She waved shyly to the second girl. "Hi there," she said softly, blushing (once again!). "I'm Alexa, and you are?" She awkwardly stuck out her hand to shake.

Henry walked along the corridor with Alexa, the boy hadn't been noticing but he has been spending a lot of time with the girl. So much time that you would think he would realize his feelings and ask her out on a date or admit that he had a crush on her. Sadly though, he didn't see them yet the twelve year old was a moron with love unlike classes the boy couldn't see what was so obviously in front of him so instead he stayed being her rather close friend hopefully one day Henry would see these feelings and hopefully he won't be too late.
Henry carried in his arm a yellow bag within it was a another slightly smaller bag of lemon drop next to the bag was a musical book for piano. As Henry walked besides the girl, he would look over at her with a smile before speaking " rollover? That's brilliant, Al you have to show me sometime," occasionally he has been calling Alexa; Al at times forgetting as he quickly shook it off before continuing " Loki just got the basics for shake so that's something, although I still think Rascel is smarter," not long after did the boy hear a light hiss from his side that belong to his cat; Loki whom seemed to he protesting against that comment even through the cat seem to unusually like the rat.
Dressed in his casual clothes; handy me down jeans,
handy me down long sleeve grey shirt, and faded greenish jacket Henry entered the rehearsal rook with Alexa and Loki. Looking over at Alexa before looking at Paige as he spoke " Hey Paige, is there anything we could to help?" Giving a slight laugh at how similar his and Alexa's words were before seeing the other in the room as he waved toward her before speaking " I'm Henry and this is Loki."

The Gryffindor had received an owl with the invite for the party one day earlier and hadn't hesitated before replying. Of course she would go! Simon was one of her closest friends at Hogwarts, and she was super excited to see his reaction when he saw everything that had been prepared for him. Also, the party was supposed to be a surprise, something Gia loved. Especially when the surprise was something good. Well, only when the surprise was good, because bad surprises were just. . . bad.
When Gia arrived in front of the doors to the Rehearsal Room, she realized that there was a slight problem. Both her hands were full, which meant they could not be used to open the door. Oh well. The eleven year old quickly decided to use her foot instead, pushing them open and hurrying inside. A bunch of people were already there, but she didn't mind very much. The Gryffindor wasn't sure how many people were going to be there, but probably at least one more after her.
Immediately noticing that everyone was going over to a dark haired girl, the first year walked over that way as well, assuming that she was Paige. Two other students were already standing over there, and Gia recognized one of them. "Henry!" she said with a bright smile. She hadn't known he knew Simon as well, what a surprise! Then she turned to what could only have been Paige. "Oh, I'm Gia Adelard." the girl said, now directing her smile at the other two girls. "It's nice to meet you." Holding up the balloons, Gia added, "I brought balloons, if you want to use them."*outfit here*

Paige waved to Alexander and Henry who's words were the almost the same. "Oh, we've met already. I was that awkward girl on the train." Paige laughed. "Um, well could you guys take these- " She held out a basket of blue napkins folded to looks like wolves, "- and place them next next to the plates at that table?" She would pint to the table before carrying on.
Paige smiled as The girl, Gia, came in with balloons. "Balloons! You can never have too much balloons! Thanks!" She took them and taped them to the corner walls. The place was looking more festive already. She rubbed her hands together. "Okay, we still need to wait for @Ruby Red, and we need someone to go get Simon, someone who can act..." Paige would do it, she wanted to. But she wanted to make sure no one else did first. She would wait for an answer before nodding.
She picked up a case of cupcakes and other treats made by the house elves. " And I figured Simon wouldn't mind if we had other sweets for everyone else. " She brought them over to a table. She stepped back to see how it worked.

preparations and greetings
In the meantime, more and more new faces came into the room. Some she recognized, some she didn't. Paige was very busy in the meantime and greeted everyone and distributed tasks and prepared the place. Haley didn't want to bother her further and helped here and there where help was still needed. However, she still couldn't shake her feeling that she didn't really like her, even if they barely knew each other. It had never bothered Haley, she couldn't like everyone either but completely for no reason was hard understandable to her. She quickly shook off her thoughts, once again she was overthinking and after all she wasn't here for anyone else but Simon.
She quickly turned her attention back to Simons friends and smiled at them all. She took the hand of the girl who introduced herself as Alexa and shook it, "Hi Alexa, I'm Haley." She smiled at her and then waved at Henry. Shortly after another unfamiliar face arrived and after everyone greeted and introduced themselves the preparations continued. It didn't take long for the room to take its final shape and Haley let her eyes wander around, impressed. It really seems like everything has been thought of.
"I'm bad at acting." Haley raised her hands, signaling that she was out of the question for this task and was sure that everyone else here was more qualified for it than she was.

Paige mentioned being “the awkward girl” on the train, but she seemed not to be upset with them, since that was the last time she’d seen them. Besides delivering the invitation, of course. When the girl offered her a job, she quickly began distributing napkins, shaped like wolves, among the highly decorated tables. As she did so, she dropped off her tiny gift at the gift table.
As she was setting up napkins, another unfamiliar face came in, loaded down with balloons. She seemed happy and upbeat, and Alexa moved over to introduce herself. “Hi there, I’m Alexa, and you are?” She was getting better at this meeting new people thing!
The first girl she had held out her hand to shook it and introduced herself as Haley. For a moment, everyone continued to set up, until Paige called them together, mentioning that someone who was a good actor should go get Simon. Haley was the first to admit she was bad acting, and Alexa backed away as well. “I would just blush the whole time,” she said, blushing. “He would know something was up if it was me.” She wondered who would eventually go get Simon. It certainly wouldn’t be her!

Henry was a bit distracted with Alexa although he didn't know why so the twelve year old may have stumbled forward a little when he heard his name and quickly regained his balance as he turn on his heel to find.
"Gia!" Henry muttered without really knowing as a smile formed on his mouthed before continuing " I didn't expect to see you here but I certainly I'm glad to," before placing his gift down next to Alexa's and helping her place the little wolf shape napkins next to each plate as he spoke " these are bloody adorable, did you make them Paige?"
Henry watched as Gia mentioned about bringing balloons and Haley introduced herself toward Alexa as a break in the conversation drew. Henry would smiled toward Alexa as he spoke " I just found out last mouth, but that's Gia the muggle friend I told you about. Turns out she's a witch, bloody brilliant really," still smiling toward Alexa while Loki walked toward Gia and would give a short meow before letting the girl pet him if she wanted.
However the orange cat would chose to ignore Haley and Paige, seemly he was a bit occupied with Alexa and Gia since the feline went from one to the other over the time period causing a small laugh from Henry.
The boy felt comfortable around Alexa and would offended look toward her for some reason or other but would always smile when he did.
As the topic changed toward who would go get Simon, Henry heard Haley mention being bad at acting and Alexa also saying that she shouldn't go. The second year figured he also shouldn't go since his anxiety would probably just force him to ruin the surprise as he spoke " I shouldn't go either, I would probably panic and ruin the surprise," looking around wondering who would go get the boy.
Henry thought Gia would be the best first job since she was a upbeat and joyful person already but perhaps the other girl who yet to come would or maybe Paige?

Turning to the red haired girl standing nearby, the eleven year old gave her a bright smile as well. "Hello!" she said. "I didn't catch your name. . ." she had arrived a few moments too late to hear it, but wanted to make sure she knew the name of everyone who was at the party. Things just turned so awkward if you didn't, she thought. Hearing her name being said once again, Gia turned back around so she was facing Henry, Alexa, and Paige once more. "Oh, yes, I knew Henry before coming here. . . it was so fun seeing him in the corridors one day." she laughed. "I was like, wait a moment, I know him!" Then her attention was drawn towards the ground, where an orange cat was rubbing against her leg. Reaching down, the brunette stroked the cat's head gently.
Gia couldn't help laughing when she heard what Paige said next. "Exactly what I was thinking!" she exclaimed, agreeing with Paige as she handed over the balloons. The other girl immediately hurried to put them up, and then clapped her hands together to get everyone's attention, announcing that one of them needed to go get Simon. Everyone else seemed to have a reason not to do it, and although Gia really wanted to she waited for them to finish before she spoke up. "I can do it," she told them, "If that's okay with you all." she glanced at Paige, who hadn't really said if she wanted to do it or not. The Gryffindor didn't think she would mind, but. . . you never knew.
"So, should I go get him?" the young Gryffindor asked. When she received an answer, Gia nodded and quickly headed out of the room, planning what she was say. It had to be something good. . . The first year had a bit of time, though, since she wasn't exactly sure where Simon would be, and only had a pretty good idea of it.434 words
I will make a short thread where Gia goes to get Simon as soon as possible.
