Spells were fired her way. She wasn't paying attention enough and luckily she managed to step away from the flying fire. Treating @Galton Lansdale's ailment was a logical thing to do, considering she mastered Reparifors long time ago. @Opeila Winters was now a dangerous girl, considering maybe how much has stacked inside based on the time since the duel started. But Meenauh stayed calm. Nerves weren't something worth losing now. Time to wrap things up.

Fresh air. Even if it was a small window, Galton got a whiff of crisp air through his nose. Sure the snot began its slow sticky approach seconds later, but Galton was thankful to his partner. With a calm gaze he could feel his muscles relax for a second.
Sure his cast had just missed, but now he had a clearer head. ”Thanks!” he yelled over to Meenau.

@Opeila Winters was definitely standing her ground. It was impressive to watch, faced with the spells of two third years coming her way, both obviously accomplished spell casters, she managed to keep her wits around her.
Both @Meenauh Silmataurea and @Galton Lansdale were back on the offense now after the short pause, but Opeila nearly managed to dodge both Knockback Jinxes from the Gryffindors. Nearly, because Galton's spell caught her hip as she ducked out of the way of Meenauh's more powerful attack. At the same time, she repeated the spell she had chosen before, but this time with more success: Meenauh's arm caught fire as she was hit by a jet of green flames.
It seemed that things were heating up for the Gryffindors.

Oh, really? The question silently popped up in her head as she was witnessing her spell going past Opeila and Opeila's flying right into her in return (and hitting this time). The heat was clear and unpleasant. The sleeve was on fire. She couldn't stand fire. Something had to be done about it as soon as possible. Or maybe train to withstand?
Action: being on fire, contemplating on how quick duel should have ended but didn't, doing as strategised.

Opeila was nervous. If one cared to look more closely, one could see her forehead shining with sweat, while she tried to keep her eyes on both opponents at once.
But this was a different situation, for the first time after a while she had her wand and was not blindfolded.
"Incendio!"
Her eyes widened in surprise when Meenauhs sleeve was set on fire. She actually hit her. The stress slowly put Opeila into some kind of trance, where the audience didn't exist anymore. Only her and the two older students, who were still firing spells at her.
But Opeila could do the same.

A hit was a hit. He had to be thankful for that, more so given is current condition. He felt the nausea greet him with a warm hello. “I didn’t go anywhere!” It would whisper to his gut.

The duel took another charring turn.
@Galton Lansdale could feel the curse getting to him, but still had the presence of mind to try and take the heat off his duelling partner, successfully extinguishing Meenauh before the flames could harm her any more.
@Meenauh Silmataurea, the extinguished duellist, kept her blaze, pardon, gaze, directed at Opeila. The second year was obviously far from done. Her aim was a little better this time, and her Knockback Jinx caught the side of Opeila's arm.
Maybe it was this distraction, or just the pressure of the situation getting to her, but it seemed that @Opeila Winters's luck was up. Her plan had been to repeat last round's feat and keep her opponents occupied with extinguishing, but this strategy turned on her. With no chance at dodging, Opeila was now the one slowly smouldering away. Would she still be able to turn this around or would she go out in a blaze of glory?

One more, just one more...
"Incendio!"
Something was wrong. When Opeila pointed her wand at Meenauh, she almost dropped it and it made a weird, unplanned movement. And then it exploded in flames. On the wrong end.
Opeila felt the heat of the fire on her sleeve as well as her wrist, causing her to almost drop her wand. A scream escaped her mouth and tears filled her eyes when the literal backfire burned her wrist, leaving red marks behind. It distracted her long enough for Meenauh to land another hit. Well partly at least.
The burnt skin was stinging and suddenly Opeila was not so confident anymore.
How long would she be able to keep this up still?

Galton didn’t like seeing his partner in flames, and he knew between the two of them, she was in much better shape. They wouldn’t have much of a shot without her. Plus flames were scary.
”I’ve go- got you!” he yelled as he set about putting the flames coating her arm out.

Group E: Gryffindor vs Slytherin
The lacking of the proper landing of spells on her target was compensated by the snake's spells being landed on herself. Was it the devastated source of luck that caused her spell to backfire or she was just too nervous to continue? Meenauh was tempted to stop the duel just because she felt it wasn't fair. Placing two third-years against two second-years was barely fair (although, yes it was random matchmaking and being third-years didn't help them during the last stage like at all). Nevertheless, it had to be done and Meenauh focused her stare on to the girl, who set herself on fire. She didn't say a single word to their opponents. She wanted to say something, but she hesitated because it could be heard not as she meant it. They had to end it in silence. A game is a game. This one was violent, though.
Action: mentally asking Opeila to surrender, in pain watching Opeila's spell backfire, doing as strategised.
