Glad for his close friendship with @Paige Chase

It wasn't that Simon liked the damsel in distress type and it wasn't that Paige Chase needed saved, but there was something slightly different about her now. She thought it was weakness in every sense - a physical weakness from her cast, a mental weakness because of her lack of sleep, and an emotional weakness due to her sadness.

However, Simon saw it completely different.

For her to be going through so much and holding it together as much as she had, he saw more strength in Paige Chase that wasn't there before this. He liked it. Simon smiled when she thanked him but she didn't need to. Paige was one of the closest people to him - counting his friends back in London, even. He would do anything for her.

"You don't need to thank me. All I did was have a cuddle buddy while reading,"
he smiled to her. He did keep his arm around her the entire time she took her nap and he was glad she was able to feel safe with him. "I would do it a million times over, even."

"Regardless, I think lemon drops are always accepted and stargazing sounds great. Are we allowed to do that?"
he wondered. Of course Astronomy was held late at night but he didn't know if maybe students could meet up there at night when class wasn't being held. Still, she was a smart girl and he didn't mind a little risk...maybe they could figure something out.

Be kind to one another. (*iNPC is Miles Thatcher)

"Um... I guess we could ask if we could stargaze... I don't know." Paige shrugged. "When you say it like that it sounds like nothing. Like I did something for you. A cuddle buddy. Not much of favor from your side when you say it. But there will definitely be lemon drops. I can assure you that." Paige smiled and reached to smooth out her hoodie. She sat for a moment then took off her hoodie and folded it over. She tucked it into her bag. "No more hiding the cast- unless I get cold." She took the books she had been reading and placed them back on the shelf. She kept two of them to check out. "Um, thanks again. I'm going to go actually get some work done in my common room. Thanks."

She gave Simon a side-hug and then walked away. She let out a sigh before going to check out her books. She appreciated Simon. She just needed some time. To get over herself. And get work done, now that she wasn't that tired. And she wasn't going to hide her cast sense Simon already saw it so it was no point. She wasn't cured, but she was a bit better.
