A Cheery Encounter
Haley suggested that they meet up on Saturday after breakfast which he agreed with. He knodded his head in agreement, he couldn't wait for the day to arrive. He watched as the girl got up and stuck her hand out. He assumed she was just going to help him up but they ended up doing an awkward handshake. He stood up after her and she awkwardly thanked him for doing business with her, which he smiled slightly at again. After fixing his book bag, they said their goodbyes and went in their separate ways.
On his way back to the Ravenclaw common room, he couldn't help but think about the day. He was glad that he decided to come out to the grounds today. Even if he hadn't read anything or found any creatures, he had possibly made a friend. He now even had plans for Saturday to possibly see bowtruckles, which he definitely wasn't expecting to do. The day at first had been relatively terrible but definitely turned into a positive one.
Though he had literally face planted and had gained a few unpleasant cuts, everything after that was brilliant. He had made a new friend who may be just as clumsy as him. She even thought magical creatures were cool which always have people bonus points in his book. He couldn't wait for Saturday, he just knew it would be brilliant.
