Outfit of the Day

Whenever both serpent will go back from their romantic date Christmas dinner with Kara, the green eyes definitely need to thank Alex profusely. As both of them being led to the back side of the restaurant and Kara saw the ocean, she was excited. Kara exclaimed that she was glad that she brought her camera along with her.

After that Kara ran toward the edge and taking a few test photos. She then finally took a photo. Kara then stride toward the green eyes and showed the purple hair the photo she was taken. Cash smile at that. "That quite amazing, Kara"Cash compliment. "You take the photo at the right time. I like how the little wave crashed into the stone"They continued.

"You also have a good eye for photography"Cash concluded. They did not know that much about photography but they appreciate art in any kind of shape, whether they understood it or not. Cash inquired to Kara about the view and Kara gave them a medium length paragraph.

"Oh yes, very much so. I'm so lucky to be here right now. I can't thank you enough for letting me come here with you. I mean, I'm in a whole different country right now! I never thought I'd never be able to travel abroad, let alone to South America!"Kara told the green eyes excitedly. "No problem, really. I am glad that you love it"Cash beamed.

At this point they do not care how their cheek hurt from smiling a lot. Seeing Kara happy is more than enough for the Beater. "Thanks a lot for taking me here, Cassie"Kara stated as she looked at the ocean. "Like I said, I am glad you love our trip so far"Cash looked at Kara while the other girl still gaze onto the ocean.

After both of them ordered their respective dishes, it took a while to finished it off between the chatter and laughing. Once both of them done and Cash about to pay for it, the maître de maison told the socialite all already paid for in Portuguese. Cash understand the basic of it so they nodded their head at that info.

The two about to leave the restaurant when something caught Kara's attention, she stopped her stride. Kara commanded the purple haired to looked up. Cash then did what they been told. They looked up and they saw the plant. A mistletoe. Cash know what it is and the history behind the side plant. Or what the meaning behind that plant in certain situation.

To say they are nervous was an understatement. Kara then gave them a look with sparkling eyes and Cash gasped internally with how Kara looked at them. The last time someone looked at them with so much love and adoration was their mother when everything has not change back then. When Kara leaning forward, Cash freaked out a little but she managed to get over it.

Once the green eyes relax, they closed the gap between them. Cash could not remember who kissing who but all Cash know was the warm sensation that they feel all over their body. When Kara pulled back, Cash took a much needed breath. "Merry Christmas, Cassie!"Kara said.

"Feliz Navidad a ti también, Kara (Merry Christmas to you too, Kara). Thank you for this magical Christmas"Cash replied back and they kissed Kara cheek. When they pulled away, you can see the happiness in their eyes.

Outfit of the day (minus the sunglasses)

Two days more and this holiday ended. Cash wished they could stay at São Paulo much longer but they have family and school to get back to. It saddened the green eyes that they just getting to know their cousins and uncle but Cash could not wait to go back to the Great Britain to asked their mother about all this new knowledge that they know over the holiday.

Cash hoping their mother did not evaded the situation and their question. With that thought in their mind, Cash nodded their head. When Ronnie showed them around the house and Cash saw the back side of the house, Cash vowed to themselves they will swim in that pool before they flew back to England.

And so Cash did. The sun just peeking on the horizon but the green eyes already swam in that pool. Once they done. the took a shower then dress. The dress in black tee, black pants. The wear a simple jean jacket and to completed their look, a pair of white sneakers on their feet. Once they presentable enough, Cash climbed down the stairs.

When they bounded to the open concept kitchen they saw their uncle. There are no sign of Alex, Venice, Ronnie or Izzy. "Good morning!"Cash greeted their uncle. "It is almost noon"He replied back from where he stand near a coffee decanter. Cash tried so hard not to rolled their eyes. "What's for lunch?"They inquired.

"You can cook?"Their uncle replied with a question. The purple haired nodded their head. "Then cook away"Uncle Enzo stated. Cash then preparing all the ingredients for all the food they want to make. After sometimes, the dishes are completed. They are chicken brown rice bake, creamy Mexican corn soup and some spaghetti carbonara.

As they walked back and forth from the kitchen towards the dinning table, Uncle Enzo asked Cash about Kara. "Yeah what about her?"They replied back. "Is she the same like us?"Uncle Enzo asked. "You mean is she a pureblood? I don't know"Cash knew where this conversation will be going. "Please not you too"Cash uttered.

"I mean I am not against LGBTQ+ people but I think you better start dating someone from our class"Uncle Enzo suggested. At that word, Cash was angry. They could not say anything when their grandfather looked down on Kara but with Uncle Enzo it was another thing coming. Cash was so agitated they did not realize they speak another language.

"You don't have the right to tell me who I can or can't date. You're not my parents and beside I had enough with this prejudice. Can't you see I'm happy with her? Happiness doesn't come often to me. I really am happy with her"Cash told their uncle then they sigh. To the non-parsel ears, they only will hear hissing.

After that Uncle Enzo looked at them and nodded. Then it dawn on them that Uncle Enzo might be a Parsel too. Since the language the green eyes spoke only a handful of people can understand it and let alone speak it. Unbeknownst to the green eyes, 5 sets of eyes are about to enter the dinning area and looking at Cash and their uncle.

The beater did not dare to looked up, afraid of what Kara might think of them.

December 26th Outfit

Kara woke up in the guest room, once again greeted by...no one. She must've slept in again. Kara hopped up, ruffling her bedhead with her hand gently to try and make it look better, and then she pulled a dress over the swimsuit she was wearing, as Cassie told the short haired girl about a pool, and she quite liked swimming.

She walked out of the bedroom to be greeted by Ronnie, the teal-haired, and very flamboyant, boy.

"Mornin' there Kar! Can I call you that? Meh, well, you missed breakfast, but you're lucky, cause lunch is just about done!" Ronnie smiled and wrapped an arm around Kara's shoulders, to which he smacked his hand, making him reel back.

"Oh stop it Ronnie!" Alex came from behind and smacked Ronnie in the back of the head, so he was now rubbing the place of impact while pouting at Alex.

"Don't mind him Kara, it's just that he's losing braincells by the daily it seems!" Alex laughed while Kara gave a slight giggle while covering her mouth.

"Don't worry, I don't mind him at all. Beside, I know how to handle people like him. I also am pretty hungry, and good morning to you two!" With that, Kara ran off down the stairs towards the kitchen, but she didn't go in, as she saw Cassie and their uncle talking, and she didn't want to interrupt.

"I mean I am not against LGBTQ+ people but I think you better start dating someone from our class" Cassie's uncle said, and Kara was quite mad, but more confused.

"What?" That was the only thought that came to her mind at that moment, until her thoughts were interrupted by...hissing?

Cassie seemed more pissed off than Kara, and they were completely going off at him, but it wasn't just any normal foreign language like Spanish or French, but, hissing. Kara was so confused, and she let herself show at the entrance to the room, and she just stood there, shocked. And Kara wasn't the only one standing there in shock as well, so was the rest of the house's inhabitants.

Kara walked up to Cassie, who didn't dare look up at Kara, so she gently took their hand in her own and looked up at Enzo.

"Listen, I don't know what Cassie just said, but from what I've overheard, you seem to have largely offended them, and with your words, me as well. I may be a Half-Blood, but I'm still human right? I should at least be treated with a sliver of respect since I am the same species as you. I still have a soul, just like you! So...um, the food smells and looks great, but I'm going to have to excuse myself and Cassie for a moment." After Kara's final words, she dragged Cassie outside to the pool and made sure to get out of the line of sight from the windows.

"I..I have so many questions. Like, what just happened, but we can focus on that later. Are you alright?"

Uncle Enzo about to retort of what Cash said to him probably in the same language that Cash had used but his stare harden when he saw Kara. On the other hand, the green eyes still had their head down. Stare at the floor when they feel their hand being held. Cash then slowly looked at the hand and to the owner of the said hand.

It was Kara who held their hand. Cash swallowed the lump in their throat. They feel like wanted to cry on the spot but then Kara go off at Uncle Enzo. She went telling Uncle Enzo off. Though Kara is a Half-Blood, she should at least treated with sliver of respected since she is human after all. Kara then dragged the green eyes outside.

Both of the serpent now standing near the pool. Kara then told that she has so many questions. Cash can bet one of the question that Kara will asked is Cash being a Parsel. Then the short brown haired girl asked whether Cash was okay or not. Cash could lie easily that they were okay when in reality they are far from okay.

"I seriously do not know"They answered honestly. The sound that emitted from the green eyes sound weak. They feel so pathetic at that moment. Cash then sucked their breath and plaster a smile. A fake one that did not reach their eyes. "Just drop it, okay?"Cash stated it in such cold tone but they did not mean to say it in that way.

The green eyes already learnt from their tender age the only people that you can counted on is yourself. Even your parents who should have care for you and make you feel safe can disappointed you from time to time. The purple haired then looked at Kara. They plead with her that she dropped the subject.

Cash alongside with Kara then get back to the house again. When both of the serpent arrived at the dinning table; Uncle Enzo, Alex, Venice, Ronnie and Izzy already seated on their respective chair. After Cash and Kara seated on the empty spaces, all of them started to dig the food that already been served.

Alex, being the observer one look at Cash and her father alternately. To say the least lunch time at that day was so awkward since no one dare to addressed the big elephant in the room.

Outfit of the day

Today was the last day of the holiday for both Cash and Kara before both of them will go back to their hometown. Cash as much as they hated this holiday was over, they were glad they will fly back to England. After the whole last night fiasco, Alex had mentioned that she wanted to take both Cash and Kara out of town.

So on the first light of the next day morning, Alex had already arranged a flight to Rio de Janeiro. Then the day after tomorrow after their short trip in Rio, Alex herself while drive both Cash and Kara to the airport. "Are you okay?"Alex questioned Cash about the other day drama after they dropped all of their belongings to the Ramiréz house in Rio.

"Nothing I can handle before"Cash reply in clipped tone and brushed it off. That statement full with lies. When Cash feel hurt, they usually put their guard up and close themselves off. Alex sighed. She knew better to pushed Cash to discussed the topic. After all was settle, Alex then mentioned to both Cash and Kara that she wanted to took both of the serpent to one of the most beautiful spot in Rio.

Some drive later, they arrived at one of the touristy place people should visited when they come to Rio. After Alex paid for the entrance fee, Cash insisted to pay for the fare but Alex denied it. "You are family"That what was Alex reason is. "That include you too, Kara. I grew fond of you. No one ever defy Daddy like that before. She is a bad ass right, Phoenix?"Alex then addressed Cash.

Cash assumed Ronnie was the one that told Alex about their first name. Because before Cash and Kara took this flight to Sã0 Paulo, Cash and Ronnie had owl back and forth to each other. Usually Cash hated when someone addressed them by their first name but when Alex said it, they did not mind it for a bit.

Cash give a simple smile and nodded their head to Alex's statement. Once they ride the elevator and climbed up the many many stairs to reached their destination, finally they arrived. What Cash saw was one of a breataking view that Cash has ever laid their eyes upon. "Welcome to Cristo Redentor"Alex said with her English - Portuguese accent.

"That's mean Christ the Redeemer"Alex translated it for both Cash and Kara. Cash took the view slowly and then their smile spread wide at what they saw. "IThis is amazing, Lex"Cash said genuinely. "You do not mind if I called you Lex, right?"The green eyes inquired to the oldest Ramiréz.

"It is fine"Alex replied back. "Thank you"Cash told Alex their gratitude as Cash still took in the breathtaking view. "No problem, really. I am glad that you like it"Uttered Alex as the oldest Ramiréz stood facing the ocean view. A smile etched on her face.

"Don't you think this view is breathtaking too, Kara?"The purple haired then averted their gaze from the view, back to Kara and waited for her reply.

December 27th Outfit

Kara was looking out of the window of the car, once again almost strangling Cassie's hand. Kara may seem frail, but she'd got some grip strength...so yeah, sorry Cassie and Cassie's hand.

The person taking them was so far her favorite of the family, other than Cassie of course, Alex. Alex seemed to be quite kind, but also funny and witty. Alex had decided that before Cassie and Kara leave that they should see more of a tourist spot type place, and that place was Rio De Janerio.

The drive was silent most of the time, other than the time where music would lowly hum in the background, so when they had arrived to their destination, the somewhat loud chatter of other people had been refreshing, as Kara doesn't really like silence. She even has to listen to some type of rain sounds to fall asleep.

There was a large overlook to some place, unknown to Kara at the moment, they had to pay some fee to enter. Alex was about to pay, till Cassie tried to convince her otherwise, but it seemed she wouldn't be having it.

"You are family" Alex then turned to Kara with a smile "That include you too, Kara. I grew fond of you. No one ever defy Daddy like that before. She is a bad ass right, Phoenix?"

Kara smiled back at Alex "Thank you Alex, I appreciate that. I actually see you as family as well!"

When they got in finally, they had to go up a very tall elevator, which just led to a bunch of stairs, which kind of defeats the point of the elevator, but she wasn't going to complain. She needed a bit of a workout.

Kara made it to the top, and she completely forgot about her sore legs. The sight was beautiful, and it made Kara's jaw drop.

"Welcome to Cristo Redentor." Kara looked at Alex confused "That's mean Christ the Redeemer"

Kara ran up to the edge in excitement and grabbed the fence, and thank God it was there, or she would've fallen. She wasn't even listening to anything until Cassie walked up beside her.

"Don't you think this view is breathtaking too, Kara?" They asked.

"Yeah...it's amazing!" Kara said in a breathy, awe struck voice. She smiled as she breathed in a nice breeze.

"You see that beach over there?" Kara pointed towards it to Cassie, and now Alex who was on her other side.

"I've always wanted to go, so does that sound like a good idea?"

"I'm not against it," Alex started "that would be pretty nice though!"

"Then it's a good thing I'm wearing a swimsuit under this, and I brought some for Cassie as well...definitely not stolen..." Kara turned to Cassie "So, whatcha say?"

Outfit of the day

Kara seems to agree with the purple haired that the view both of the serpent see was breathtaking. Cash was grateful that they took up Ronnie invitation to fly up to Brazil to spend their Christmas break. Though at that time Ronnie was a stranger for the green eyes. Sometimes one single decision could have a big impact in your life.

Cash then met Alex, Venice (even though the older boy a bit weird), Ronnie and Izzy. Although they did not see eye to eye with their uncle, at least Cash know that their mother had a brother even though their mother never talk about Uncle Enzo before. "I've always wanted to go, so does that sound like a good idea?"Kara voice broke Cash reverie.

Wait! what are they even plan right now? Cash thought to themselves. Until Cash gaze follow Kara's finger and pointed to something in the distance. Something with blue water and white sand. A beach. Cash then looked at Alex and Kara alternately. "I'm not against it,"Alex stated after she squinted her eyes and looked at the location where Kara just pointed.

"That would be pretty nice though!"The oldest Ramiréz exclaimed. "Then it's a good thing I'm wearing a swimsuit under this, and I brought some for Cassie as well...definitely not stolen..."Kara seems excited at the prospect of swimming in the middle of December. Kara turned to Cash.

"So, whatcha say?"She questioned the young socialite. "You are joking, right?"Cash looked at Kara then Alex. "Be reasonable, Lex. We are in the middle of winter here. The water will be cold as ice"Cash pointed out the obvious. "So? Where are your sense of adventure? Just say yes. You are in Rio for Merlin's sake"Alex tried to coaxed the purple haired.

Cash then look at Kara and Alex back and forth while the other two looked at Cash with puppy dog eyes like. Cash sighed. "Fine"Cash submitted their surrender. "If I got hypothermia, I definitely will blame you"Cash uttered. Alex put each of her arms on Cash and Kara shoulders respectively and dragged them to their next destination.

A short driver later, Cash alongside Alex and Kara arrived at the beach. "Bem vindo a praia de Copacabana (welcome to Copacabana beach)"Alex told both Cash and Kara. Cash was at awe for how clear the water and how white the sand are. As the green eyes stand there; their feet sinked into the sand, the cool breeze of the sea blow.

"Nope. I am good"The green eyes told Alex and Kara. "I thought you're a big time Quidditch player? Aren't all of Quidditch player supposed to be fearless?"jeered Alex as she took off her slippers and slowly walk where the wave meet the shore.

"I show you fearless"Cash in haste throw their boots away and ran after Alex. Alex let out a squeal and the water fight between cousins is in commence.

Five days of Cash and Kara Christmas break soon will over. Cash was sad that they will be leaving Rio soon when they just getting to know their extended family. Apart their Uncle, their cousins seems okay with Cash and Kara relationship. They did not see Kara less just because Kara is a Half-Blood.

Cash was glad that they asked Kara in the first place to accompanied them for this trip. "Can I just stay here forever?"Cash whined to Alex. Alex let out a small laugh. "What about your school, hm? Your mother?"Alex replied back. "I never like school"Cash stated. Which is a half lie. Some of the subject that Hogwarts teach sometimes bore Cash.

Though some of the said subject the school teach, Cash got the highest mark. "And for mother, like she cares"Cash scoffed and said bitterly. Alex then looked at Kara asking if Kara know something about Cash home life. There are a lot of things Cash has not told Kara yet about their home life. Alex then stepped up and rubbed Cash arms.

Cash flinched from the sudden contact. "Sorry"Alex said. Cash never like someone get into their persona space except for the people they allowed to. Alex then looked at Cash and Kara alternately. The older Ramiréz then pulled Kara into a jug. "Don't be a stranger"Alex said to Kara.

"I expected owls from both of you"The brown eyes stated. Cash let out a small smile. After Alex dropped both Cash and Kara into the private hangar where the Ironwoods private jet parked. The flight attendant quickly help Cash trunk into the plane. "Do you need any help, miss?"The male flight attendance asked Kara.

Whether Kara need help or not, the young flight attendance will wait for Kara answer. If Kara said yes, the flight attendance will help Kara bring her luggage in. If not, he will climb onto the plane after Kara did. Once Cash stood on the top stairs of their private jet, they turned around and saw that Alex's car already in the distance.

Cash climbed on board and took a sit. They let out a sigh. Cash dreaded to go home. Feeling the loneliness all over again. Cash then averted their eyes from the door to Kara. "Thank you"Cash said to Kara as the purple haired let out a small smile. They raise Kara hand to their lips and kissed it gently.

"I do not know if I could survive this holiday without you so thank you"Cash expressed their gratitude. Their eyes glistened with unshed tears. No one ever care about them as much as Kara did. Once upon a time their parents were but not anymore. As the plane moving forward and slowly lifted up from the ground, Cash closed their eyes and try to sleep for the remaining of their travel time.

A lot of things and questions came into their mind, it makes the green eyes exhausted. But Cash know they need to tackle it slowly. One day at a time They said to themselves as they breath out and let sleep engulfed them.

Kara stood on the beach, toes in the sand, looking out on the ocean. She had never seen water so clear and never felt so comfortable in sand. It was soft, and squishy, so she liked it. Kara rubbed her arms, glad that she had long sleeves, as the scar was there, so the choice was a bit intentional.

She breathed in the crisp ocean air and smiled, turning to Cassie.

"Hey, wanna get in with me? She asked, tilting her head inquisitively, but all she got was an uncertain look, so she turned and walked into the ocean, the cold water touching her legs.

The feeling was new, and cold. Kara gave a small yelp of surprise from the temperature, but she would get used to it. She met her eyes with Cassie's, and all of it was pure joy. She had never been in the ocean before, so it was that euphoric feeling of doing something new and really enjoying it! She waded out further before getting to about her waist, so she had been getting used to the water and it felt really good.

"Hey Cas, you sure you don't want in? It's nice once you get used to it, and it's really fun!" She called over to Cassie, who just looked at her with a settled look.

"Nope. I am good." They said with certainty, which made Kara pout and give her puppy eyes from far away, but the chocolate brown eyes could still be seen.

"I thought you're a big time Quidditch player? Aren't all of Quidditch player supposed to be fearless?" Kara heard Alex jeer at her lover, making Cassie glare at her before they eventually took on the challenge, running in with Alex.

Kara laughed, completely dunking herself, getting a little shocked at the cold shock coursing through her body. She swam over to them from underwater before joining in, jumping on Cassie's back, making them topple over into the water with Kara on their back.

December 28th, 2020
Kara was now at the airport, having to say goodbye to Alex and leave back to Scotland with Cassie. It was sad, but she was ready to go home, but this was something she'd never forget, for it was good and bad, but mostly good.

"Can I just stay here forever?" Kara listened to Cassie whine about leaving, the small pout on their face making her blush from how cute they were to her.

"Well," Kara put a hand on their shoulder gently "All good things must come to an end, but you can visit again someday most likely"

Alex laughed at Cassie's complaint, "What about your school, hm? Your mother?"

"I never like school."

"But that's where we met though...what does that mean?" Kara looked at Alex with a slightly worried, but also joking face, to which she just shrugged, still laughing softly. However, she changed the subject, asking if Kara knew about Cassie's home life, to which she said, "Not much, but I don't think I have permission to talk about it She said, giving Cassie a small smile with sympathetic eyes.

Alex turned her gaze from Kara to Cassie, before she walked over to them, touching their arm, making them flinch at the sudden contact. Alex apologized, a slight look of worry on her face.

Alex turned back to Kara before pulling her into hug, making her eyes widen before calming down and hugging back.

"Don't be a stranger." She said, the hug still there, so Kara still hugged back. Pulling back, Kara smiled softly at her, rubbing Alex's arms before going back to Cassie.

"I expect owls from both of you!" Alex called to them both as they walked away. Cassie gave a small smile while Kara turned and waved.

"And I you!"

Someone asked if she needed help with her luggage, but she declined politely before hopping onto the plane, putting her luggage away just fine on her own. She didn't ever need help for mundane tasks, she's not completely unable to pick up stuff. She was actually pretty strong!

She sat herself down beside Cassie, and they took her hand, gently kissing it, making Kara blush.

"Thank you." They said softly as the plane's engine started to rev "I do not know if I could have survived this holiday without you, so that you."

Kara looked at Cassie with a gentle, loving gaze before pulling their head close and kissing them on the forehead.

"No problem. If you ever need someone, you know where to find me. I am always here for you, I promise." She put her hand in theirs, gently rubbing it with her thumb as Cassie drifted to sleep.

However, with Cassie's sleeping body leaning on her, she stayed awake, staring out the window thinking about her experience. She enjoyed it, and it was nice, because she got to spend it with the person she loved.

Sorry it took forever!
