General The Hufflepuff Table 2017 - 2018 Closed

Jenna laughed (on the ground still).  "I should meet your friends though. I really need to meet all of your friends before you do more stuff together... Because if you're doing stuff together I'm obviously going to be there!" She got up and brushed off her robe. "Do you feel like these robes are missing something??"

She turned and looked Jenna up and down. "No not really, I mean they look alright to me?" Ani looked up and down at herself. Then at Jenna again shrugging her shoulders.

Jenna rolled her eyes. "I'm telling you! They are totally missing something! Like... some sort of... OH MY PANDAS!!! I KNOW WHAT IT'S MISSING!!!" She shot up out of her seat and dashed out of the hall as quick as lightning. 

"Yeah, first year" Stephen exclaimed. He judged by the fact that Reid had not had a herbology lesson yet, that he was also a first year. Stephen took another bite of his sandwich and began eyeing the plate of dessert cakes that Reid had just sampled. "Herbology could turn out to be interesting.. I just looked ahead in the book and read about the Venomous Tentacula. If we start covering things like that, I'm sure it will be much more interesting.."

"I've only been to a few classes so far...the ones I could actually find. This place is not the easiest of places to navigate. I did enjoy Defense Against the Dark Arts. Seems like it will be a fun class" Stephen continued. He remembered back to the first class when the professor talked about the dark arts and dark spells. It definitely opened his eyes to the other side of the magical world.

James walks into the Great Hall as another girl exclaims and rushes past him, heading out. He recognized her from a short encounter in Herbology, and he thought her name was Jenna or something.
James sat down next to Ani.
"What was that about?" he asked as he looked around for what to eat.
James eventually settled on a simple sandwich that had peanut butter and jelly, but after eating it, was still a bit hungry, so he went for the mac and cheese.

“Eh something about her wanting to “dazzle” her outfit up more. Which to me seems ridiculous but I don’t really care. So uh how was class?” She smiled and looked back at the door,then back at him.

James shrugged.
"Confusing, mostly... still trying to get used to all this magic." he admitted.
"What about you?" he asked.
For some reason, one unknown to James, he felt like there had been something else going on between Ani and the other girl that Ani wasn't letting on. James just chuckled at this thought. His first guess would be something like "girl talk" or whatever...

She could see the suspicion in his facial expression. Got an idea of what he might be thinking so she decided to speak up. “You seem uneasy. Like confused,is something wrong? Did I do something? I’m sorry..?”

James shook his head.
"No, I just got this weird feeling like your hiding something..." he said, grinning. He wanted it to sound like he was just teasing her a bit, but part of him was actually wondering if that feeling he got was true and there was something she wasn't telling him.
"What else were you two talking about?" James asked.
But then, James' expression faded just a bit, "I mean, unless it's too personal or something... I don't know, I mean, I only just met you yesterday, so I understand..."
Then, his grin came back. "But, what were you talking about?"

Her face turned crimson red as she nervously smiled at James. “ohhhh it was nnnnooooothingg! Nothing really I swear aha!” You could tell she was a little off but nothing you could really pin it on. And if you could it would be hard to really tell without a blunt question. She tried changing the topic a bit.
