[/font]It was late at night on a Friday, but not so late the students had to be in their dormitories. Lilvi had grabbed her skateboard from the side of her bed. She walked out of the dorm, she waved bye to her friend Dorothy, as she walked out of the common room. She walked up to the Second-floor corridors, and started skating, in her way was a student's math book, so she kickflipped over it. "I need to fix my posture, that last trick was lazy." Lilvi's trucks were a little loose but not too loose they would fall off. It made turning easy. She ollied over a nearby crack, then jumped onto a bench and slid on it. Her hair let loose and she did another kickflip, this one was complicated, and she didn't land right, and her leg kind of hurt. Her Irish accent was extremely heavy when she said, "Ow!" as the jabbing pain of her leg hurt her. She decided to keep skating, but slower. She decided not to do any tricks, but to just skate and ollie around. But she couldn't resist herself, there was a massive area to try a tricky kickflip. She closed her eyes, lifted her legs off the board, and kick flipped, but she didn't land on her board, she landed on the ground, on her bottom. She grabbed her board, which was next to her, and said in pain, "Ouch, that hurt." She sighed. "Best get up for me own good." But her thick Irish accent caught the attention of a nearby boy. He looked shocked, but kind of in a good way. He looked like he was skating on a board too.

It was typical for him to skate the corridors of the school on his off-time. Many times had he been caught between classes which resulted in himself having issues with some of the prefects that roamed the halls. The annoying 'narcs' that they were, always keeping an eye out for him. Honestly, he was just easy-riding at the moment, a casual kick from time-to-time to keep his speed up as he weaved through some of the students. Honestly, he had no problem using some of the first-years in his way as a way to shove himself forward at their expense.
When he was rounding the corner, he heard a familiar noise that rang through the halls, it was clear that there was another skater in the school. Zykeal made his way towards the noise. It wasn't until the boy watched a girl flopping down after failing a trick that he skid his board to a stop and used his back foot to kick his board up so that he was holding it beside him with one hand. Golden irises pierced down towards the girl as she spoke in a tongue familiar to him, too close to home, and he let the expression falter upon his face until he mastered it and just stood there with a smirk playing across his features.
"What's the craic?" he spoke, the northern Dublin accent he tried to downplay towards most of the other student body.
The board he held within his hand was slick black, no insignias were visible, but, the bottom of his board was clearly worn to the boards' wooden deck. The trucks, clearly overused and needing to be repaired at some point, but, he figured he'd get around to that when he'd eventually break a ballbearing or something similar. Typical of him, as well, was the fact that he was wearing all black so that no one unless they knew him, would recognize him for the house he was in. The house thing always bothered him.

Lilvi didn't recognize the boy, he seemed new to her, she had been at Hogwarts for nearly a year, and her second year was coming up soon, the guy smiled at her, "Are you Irish?" She asked, he sounded like home, the place she loved, Lilvi was an Irish American, 70% Northern Irish, and 30% American. Her father was pure Irish, and her mum was part American. Lilvi got the blonde gene from her father, she and her dad had always skated together, her dad was muggle-born and a Gryffindor.
Intrigued at the guy she had met because there were few staters at Hogwarts she peered at his board. It looked like her board before her dad repaired it, the muggle way. He then cast a spell on it so it would never break, just like their relationship. Although she hadn't heard from her parents in a few months besides saying she would stay at Hogwarts, she liked writing to her father, although with his job she didn't and couldn't write often.
Enough with her father, Lilvi was still curious about this boy. She wanted to know his name, she said while getting up and dusting her board off, "The name's Lilvi Rose Quirk, first year, what about you?"

What an odd question to ask; wasn't that obvious? Zyk responded quickly with a raised brow once more as his golden hues shifted towards her blonde hair and then back to her eyes once more, "Eh?" he questioned, "North Dub, Ballymun," he offered, the smirk playing across his face that any Ballyboy would offer to see the reaction of other Dubs. After all, Ballymun had its reputation in Dublin to uphold. It was the slums, the ghetto, the rough part of town that not many others in the inner-city would dare to venture into.
This was something he was proud of, his community, the toughness of the crowd that called Bally home. She seemed lost in thought for a moment before she collected herself, he gave her time, allowing himself to twist his board in circles as it rested upright upon the ground and within his fingers. When she finally collected herself, he canted his head to the side as she was so forward with her name. Oddly, he wasn't used to giving his name out to others, but, when she mentioned that she was a first-year he had a slight thought that his reputation hadn't ventured into her head yet.
"Zyk, Second," he offered, then quickly redirected the conversation towards her skateboard as he nodded towards it, "What ya' wipe on?" he questioned, "Heard' ya trucks hit sounded like a bench?" he smirked, "Careful around the halls, prefects everywhere lil' one," he couldn't help but labeling her such, she was a first-year and there was a little pride in his tone that he had actually survived his own first-year at the school that held such dangers.
