Entering from Hufflepuff Common room
Mentions: @Caradoc Browne
Open for Interactions with any Head of House
Logan not was completely sure what was going on at this point. First, she was running towards the door of the common room, and suddenly she couldn't see anything. Her eyes burned from what seemed to be smoke that was filling the common room. The cause of the smoke was a mystery to the young girl, as she had not seen anyone throw anything into the fire. That was not her main concern at the moment though. Reaching her hand out, she felt for the door of the common room. She could couldn't feel anything at first as she blindly reached around her for the door. It had to have been around there somewhere, she had been heading in the right direction, correct. She hoped that somewhere between her running and going blind that she had not veered off course and gotten herself lost while blind. It took her a bit, as she couldn't see anything, but she felt it. The cold metal of the common room door was in her hand. Now all she needed to do was get out.
Quickly Logan flung the door open and took off into the corridors outside the Hufflepuff common room. The cool air of the corridor was refreshing, but it did little to sooth the girl's red, irritated eyes. Her eyes burned from the smoke in the common room and most of the hall was a blur. Getting someone to help was her only concern at the moment, she could worry about her near blindness later. She needed to find someone to help, her Head of House the first person she could think of.
"PROFESSOR BROWNE!" The young Hufflepuff yelled out as she made her way down the corridor as fast as possible. It was rather difficult to navigate down the corridor while being half blind, but someone had to have heard her scream. Who wouldn't be concerned when a student was yelling down the corridor for their Head of House for seemingly no reason at all. "PROFESSOR!" Logan yelled out a second time, hoping someone would hear her soon.

The yelling came from behind the corner, Doc's head lifted in response to hearing his name. He had just kneeled down to tie one of his shoelaces when the faint murmur of shouts reached his ears. His bright blue eyes locked onto a girl running down the hallway directly towards him. Her voice signalled distress, and danger was likely not far behind. He recognised her as one of his second years, Miss Baird. While he could not recall any immediate conversation between the both of them, he did not believe she was the dramatic sorts in her daily affairs.
The Head of Hufflepuff's arms both shot upwards in an attempt to get the girl to halt. His hands held her by the shoulders as he looked down and furrowed his brow. "Hold there, Logan. What's the matter?" Fear sparked inside his own mind. Had there been another attack? Soon he would need to be forced and leave the common room under constant surveillance. Perhaps even relocate the students to an entirely different area. Though in his opinion that would only see them starting from scratch rather than building their defences and learning from their past mistakes. His attention shifted back to the girl. From whom he was waiting to hear all about her message of distress.
Hogwarts had become a strange place to Caradoc. Like a friend from the past you don't recognise any more. While he had seen the school in wartime and under dictatorship, the most recent events... unnerved him. As the centre point for magical learning in the British Isles and sometimes beyond, he found that the school had become a large target to anyone that wished to make an impact on magical society. To ensure change, they would seek to control the future. "Another attack?"

Logan hadn't been running through the corridors long when someone had grabbed ahold of her shoulders, and when they spoke, she immediately recognized the voice of her Head of House. She hadn't really seen him while running, although her blurred vision did not do much to help that. She quickly looked up at the man, her eyes wide in fear. "Someone...something is attacking the common room." She wasn't completely sure what was attacking the common room, and she assumed she was going to sound like she was absolutely crazy when she explained this to the man.
"There, there are hands attempting to drag us to the floor," she started out with a stutter as she was having a difficult time trying to describe exactly what happened, but she knew she needed to hurry up as the badgers in the common room needed help. "There was a present, no one knows where it came from, but when someone opened it, something inside began to scream. I don't think there is any screaming anymore, but I am not sure. When I was leaving to come and find you, I think it was smoke, started to fill the air. I couldn't see anything at all, so I don't even know what else is going on in the common room anymore." Logan hadn't seen anyone having been injured before she left the common room, but she wasn't sure at this point. Anything could have happened between her leaving the common room and finding Professor Browne.
The young Hufflepuff was scared to say the least. Something as attacking the common room and she didn't even know how to properly explain it to her Head of House. She probably should have payed more attention while in the common room, but she was more concerned with getting help. "You gotta help us Professor Browne," she said quickly, attempting to turn around and head back to the common room. She wanted to go back and help, she didn't want to leave the other badgers for too long while she was safe in the corridors.

Caradoc's eyes locked into a cold stare as soon as Logan mentioned another attack. After all that they had done to rid this castle of evil, it seemed there was no true escape. His fear for his badgers only grew worse with each added description. "Hands? What did they look like? Like shadows?" Doc's voice would quiver as he spoke. He wanted this to stop, to stop seeing his children get hurt. They needed to hurry, there was no time to chat about it, this was happening right now. "Never mind that." He waved his own words away. His eyes fell upon a figure down the hall, the newly appointed nurse that was put in his care. "Mr. Brumby, you're a badger. Hufflepuff needs us. Follow me."
Finally, Caradoc turned his gaze back to Logan, a half-successful attempt at a smile formed on his face. "Head for the Hospital wing, Logan. I'll find you there with the other badgers afterwards. Thank you for finding me, you did so good today." He squeezed gently into her shoulder and winked at her. "Now go on. We'll take it from here!" Without much further ado, the Head of House turned on his heels and started running towards the Hufflepuff common room. There was no time to be wasted and certainly no point in trying to stay calm about it. From what he had seen with his own eyes last attack, the darkness was a vile thing. In his mind he was already listing every spell he knew to work against it. If it was this... There was no way to be certain about it. It seemed they were going in blind again...
OOC: Thank you for making the thread, @Logan Baird. While Doc is telling you to head for the Hospital wing, I want it to be clear that you can obviously just disobey him and still head back towards the common room if you wish to keep taking part in the main thread. @Kelsey Brumby and Caradoc will now be able to enter the thread because of you. Let's have some fun shall we!
