To Griseldis's surprise, the moment Ravenclaw boy with a very odd name, Athanatos was it? Suddenly pointed at her and shouted that they need to gather the first-year students, cause of something he believed was wrong. "Huh? Me?", confused and unsure. She might seem a bit simple-minded but she wouldn't act when there was no evidence that could prove that there was really something wrong going on as the older boy claimed. Her owl noticed her master was ready to leave the compartment, she flew out and landed on her hoodie behind her head.Interacting with @Opeila Winters & @Vladimir Athanatos
Before saying anything to him, she did notice Opeila's expression of distrust towards the older boy. Since she knew her a bit longer and the fact that she never once interact with him. It should be logical to trust the younger Slytherin but somehow, her guts told her that the boy wasn't lying either. Sure she is a Prefect but she was certain that not everyone would really believe the older boy's warning immediately. So she felt kinda torn but perhaps the best option at the moment was to simply follow Opeila and look around.
A loud "Yee-Haw" startled her and for a second she couldn't believe what she was seeing, a group of cowboys appeared out of nowhere infiltrating the car with force. If it were a bunch of Dark Wizards in black robes would have been believable but cowboys? In the United Kingdom? And the huge question was why were these cowboys even here in the first place? Just why? For S.C.A.R? Some kind of organization?
And just like that, chaos escalated in the hallway of the train. One of the cowboys roughly grabbed Opeila by the hair and pull her towards him. Griseldis watched incredulously at the cowboy who took the young girl as his hostage. "OPEILA!", she shouted and slightly fear for Opeila. This was not a movie, this was reality! The Ravenclaw boy reacted before her and he tried to save Opeila but his attempt to push the cowboy failed due to the lack of balance. Now it was up to her to help her friend. Her owl knew her master was about to do something and quickly flattered her wings and flew above the ceiling. If there were any cowboys who dared to get near her master she would certainly attack them with her merciless pecks and sharp claws.
Griseldis kept her feet under her shoulders having her eyes on her target. Squeezing her fist firmly to maintain a strong grip and made share her thumb was over her middle finger so she wouldn't get injured then she charged at the cowboy before he could react, "LET GO OF MY FRIEND RIGHT NOW!!" Hopefully, she could strike the target with her fist without failure.

Alec had noticed a suitcase, a moving one. What in the world was it doing moving? He eyed the luggage curiously. Though as it moved more, he looked as shocked as anybody would be at seeing a moving suitcase; the shock causing Alec to drop his cool guy act. "W-why..? What in the world.. Now? You've got to be kidding me." Alec whispered to himself, approaching the moving suitcase but not dare touching it. Had someone stuffed their cat in there or something? Never mind obviously wasn't a cat in there. It wouldn't be strong enough to move the suitcase like that. The question came and left the answer casual in Alec's mind till he realized. If there wasn't a pet in there, what was in there?
"Maybe not a good idea." He'd try to casually mumble to the kid a bit away from him casting alohomora, after the girl next to the boy had attempted, and failed to open the suitcase. The boy didn't listen, he just cast it. Alec couldn't help but inwardly sigh. And to his surprise at the suitcase was opened, out came his duelling captain. AJ was in a suitcase. Alright, Alec had to let that sink in. Future duells with AJ as his teammate were hopefully not going to be awkward after this. At the very least, the boy wasn't dead from it? Could he have been? How was it even possible to breathe in there, he looked squished, that definitely did not look pleasant.
Alec couldn't focus on it for long as he looked back down the hall, which he'd had once been so carefully watching. Forget this cool guy act, bloody hell! Was this a sign of what his whole year was going to be? Within however long he'd been focused in this business, these cowboy looking people had entered the train! A whole action scene was going on down there, and here Alec had been, focused on something else. He was lucky he wasn't in the middle, though he wasn't sure what to do about this. People seemed to already be getting injured, and Alec didn't like it.
The scene.. So real.. It made Alec sick. Stunning him for a moment. Crazy stuff like this had happened before at Hogwarts, yes, but not like this, not in front of Alec and all so quickly. He'd survived close to one school year and a half or so at Hogwarts, and now this was happening. His eyes scanned quickly and close, though he'd missed quite a bit. He didn't know what to do, but in Gryffindor fashion needed to do something, nonetheless. Which meant he was going to do something stupid, the stupid thing? Get right into the middle of the sickening scene. Alec turned back to AJ and the group, "I'm taking your once temporary home, good luck. It'll be returned in what I'm hoping will be okay condition, AJ." He took the suitcase sending a wink AJ's way to lighten the mood, Alec had no idea what he was doing that didn't mean he wanted others knowing that. Despite protests or anything of that sort, if anyone even were to try to stop him Alec would take the suitcase with him, it was just a suitcase after all, it was not very likely it would be missed.
Walking up to where Alec assumed was the middle of the hall. A safe distance away, but just close enough to everything. Moving the suitcase, he put it in front of him, wand in his left hand(surprise, kid is left-handed). Now, he had considered using incendio or a moment, maybe at the cowboys, or throwing a flaming suitcase at them. But he decided against it right away. He didn't want to harm anybody too bad, he just didn't want wands to be stolen. They could have the suitcases with all the spells books they want, but Alec and many others wanted their wands and Alec at the very least wasn't letting his wand leave his side. Therefore it prompted this solution, the stupid one where Alec was probably going to get really hurt after. The one where he levitates the suitcase in an attempt to hit one of the cowboys in the head, or somewhere else..
Alec took a deep breath, "Okay, focus." He whispered to himself. With a swish and flick of his wand, Alec softly whispered the incantation for the spell. "Wingardium Leviosa" Aiming at the human sized suitcase.

Akari very much awake and now alert had briefly tilted her head towards the window which let her catch a glimpse of something quite strange. She was quite baffled and wanted to get a better look to fully make out what she saw but didn’t get the chance for the angle she was positioned in wouldn’t allow for it.
”I wasn’t the only one who heard that right? She turned to look over at her compartment mate, referring to the previous sounds she had heard a couple moments before.
Then, out of was seemed like out of nowhere a loud “Yee Haw” echoed throughout the train. Akari gradually was becoming more confused by the second. Nothing was making sense, not even in the slightest.
”Ok, I really can’t be the only one who—“
In mid sentence she stopped short. Someone flew back and hit their compartment door and left a long streak of blood behind. Akari tensed up as her eyes widened at the sight. Kenji’s fur started to stand up as more shouting could be heard. Akari looked from the boy across from her to the blood stained door before automatically bounding up towards the door of the compartment in hopes to find the individual which the blood came from.
She then saw a boy sit up, presumably the one who was bashed into the door, but only to see him be then harshly kicked by some... cowboy?
Akari gasped. She stood frozen in shock. What in the name of Merlin was going on there?
She had to think quickly for she knew that she couldn’t just continue standing there and watching that boy bleed out. She had to try and help him in some way.
Terrifying as this was, and even if a small 11 year old like her wasn’t going to be able to be of much help she slipped out of her compartment and attempted to rush over and aid the boy.
”Are you alright?” She asked him her voice obviously not very stable while she looked down to the bloody patch above his hip.

@Vladimir Athanatos @Griseldis Edelhardt
Vladimirs answer was cold and short... And something else. Was that bitterness in his voice? If so, Opeila could barely hold back a snort. If someone had the right to be bitter, it was not Vladimir Athanatos. Was it? Not after what he did to her and her whole house.
He was obviously in a haste to warn everyone, but what from? "Sure I know, what I've been involved in and I tried to explain it to you before, but you decided to be butthurt instead. What are you warning us fro-" Opeila's question was interrupted by a loud Yee-Haw just outside the train.
"What on..." The door was forced open and Opeila instinctively stepped away from it. But whatever she expected- even after the yee-haw- it was not that. Cowboys broke into the train, declaring a heist. What was happening? Were they going to hold the Gryffindors- and her- in this car hostage?
A man held out a bag, telling them to give up their wands. Opeila wouldn't. She was not wearing her Hogwarts uniform yet- her wand was tucked into her left sock, hidden under her trousers. Subconsciously she held her cat tighter, nervously stroking him. Opeila learned better in the past than to have a big mouth. This was a time to stand down and blend in to not get hurt.
When she realized that the arm of one of the men was reaching out towards her, it was to late to escape. The young girl felt her hair being grabbed, and pulled on. One hand shot up, the one with the bracelet, grabbing the wrist of the cowboy, to whom's side she was pulled. Her eyes were widened, from shock as well as the pain in her head and all she could do was try not to drop poor Loras, who now made unsettled noises in her arm. She was probably squeezing him a little too tightly, she couldn't tell.
This was a scene that belonged in a movie. It couldn't be happening to her.
"Get away from her!"
Opeila's gaze found Vladimir, who tried to push the cowboy. Was he... defending her? Where did that come from? Last summer he wanted to see house Slytherin, including her to get hurt, even allowed Victor to feed them information that made her own team turn against her.
The thoughts were painfully erased when the cowboy backed away from the Ravenclaw, pulling Opeila's hair again. Her scream echoed through the car, when she was forced to stumble behind the cowboy again, her eyes pressed shut tightly in pain.
"Hands to yourself, Vlad." He knew them. Of course he did. Despite the pain, the second year got angry. You can shove you butthurt talking right up your...
But actually, Vladimir seemed to have provoked the cowboys. One of them missed him with his fist, but another took his wand. Opeila felt as if she was frozen to the spot. Well, she actually couldn't move in the cowboy's tight grip, but her focus was on Vladimir, who got distracted by the disappearance of his wand. "No!!!" Opeila had no reason to care for Vladimir, but the urge to grab her wand and curse his assailant into another dimension was there and it was strong.
"No, stop it! No!!!"
She didn't get her wand. As long as she didn't take it out, she had a possibility to fool those cowboys. Opeila couldn't mess up now, no matter how much she disliked seeing to get anyone- even if it was Vladimir- get hurt. Two of the cowboys pushed past him, one elbowing him in the face, another hitting his knee into the boy's face, causing him to fall against a compartment door.
Opeila held her breath. Was he knocked out? Did this kill him? Was it possible that they killed him? No, he was alive. He tried to sit up, his face covered with blood. Opeila exhaled again. One of the first years went to him. He would be fine. Though his reaction utterly confused her. Vladimir just took a beating, trying to defend her.
Katrina in the meanwhile was asked to hand over her wand. Just do it. Just do it, please... Of course she didn't. Instead, this girl, who was almost a child still, attempted to punch an adult man in the face.
Not that Katrina was the only one. Opeila heard a familiar voice shout her name, and suddenly Gris was there, attempting to punch the cowboy, who held her. "Gris no!!!" She would get herself in danger. She would be beaten down like Vladimir. "Don't hurt them, please!" The second year was now addressing the cowboys, pleading for at least her friends. Where was Marshal?

"Yee-Haw!"
Locomotion commotion, it was out and about! This may have been a form that even Galton's wildest dreams could not conjure (the closest he came was pirates), but it was here. It seemed that quite a lot of damage had already few seconds since that initial yee-haw.
The abuse fell onto one boy in particular, a very familiar one. One that was credited with much of the trauma poor little Lansdale had undergone in his stay at Hogwarts. Though Galton may not have recognized it as such, his two encounters with Vlad had left large impressions on the boy. Seeing him beat before him, in such a violent fashion pulled some of those memories to the forefront of his little mind. Saliva started to pool in his mouth, remnants of a long gone hunger. He didn't enjoy seeing the abuse, not at all, he was quite appalled. And it didn't end with Vlad, it spread to his schoolmates as the thugs piled in.
Well, if they wanted some locomotion commotion, they would get some. Galton the Glorious and Hugh the Heavy would need to step in. It was no small task, but next to the Heavy it looked small.
" Locomotion commotion!" Galton drew his wand, it was time for their locomotion to stop. With the door open he picked his two marks, took a step back and cast. "Immobulus!"

As Galton opened the door of their compartment, Hugh's attention shot towards the hallway. He asked a question to someone he apparently knew. Hugh likely knew some of them, this had been his third year at school by now. So he was bound to know a person or two that stuck around. His ears picked up on an anomaly though that stuck out like a sore thumb. The unknown adult voices reached his ears as soon as his eyes locked on their figures over Galton's shoulder. The part-giant frowned at first, who were these men? They did not sound like any professor he had met. Neither did they show any moderate level of intelligence the adults at Hogwarts had.
But he only really kicked into gear once he heard the distressed yelling from what seemed to be Bunbun's if his memory served him well. Turning his whole body towards the door, Hugh's entire figure seemed to be taking in the room, his shadow engulfing the Candy King entirely. His eyes watched Galton aim his wand down the hall whilst his own footsteps bellowed behind. Roaring as he marched, Hugh's hand rose up. His arm arched behind to bring up momentum. Clenching into a large ball, the part-giant's fist swung through the air.
"Yui shura dha wsulr dseail, raiddra nel!"
"You chose the wrong train, little man!"
There seemed to be a few more than he had anticipated, but his whole figure would sure make the room look a lot smaller than before. All he had to do was to hope that his partner-in-crime's spells hit and these varmints would skitter back from the hole they crawled out of. He wasn't particularly set out to save anyone here, but screams were hard to ignore, and he would be the last to deny he had some pent-up aggression waiting to come out. The only person who had been witness of one of his other fits would have been Galton, though he was delirious at that time.

#b76e79How, of all things, does one manage to get stuck inside a suitcase?
Do people even sell twelve-year-old-boy-sized suitcases?
Either way, now two other people had also noticed the weird, twitching suitcase. Everly prickled, flinching, as the boy with the cat cast the Unlocking Charm on the suitcase. Frowning slightly, she reached out and used a hand to flick the suitcase open, leaning away from the suitcase as it opened in slow-motion in Everly's eyes. And then a boy, one Everly didn't recognize, stuck in a suitcase.
Well, that was one stuffy fit.
"How did you get stuck in a suitcase?" She said dubiously, by way of introduction, talking over the other two's responses. "Of all -" the three boys never got to hear what Everly had to remark about stuffy suitcases because a loud bang cut off the rest of her sentence. Shrinking back, eyes scrunched up and ears still ringing, she hurried out farther down the hall to see what the commotion was all about, moving closer, and then immediately making herself as small as possible, hiding her wand in her sleeve. Cowboys. What would these people dream up next?
Watching, her movements frozen in shock, her hand subconsciously reaching toward the sleeve that concealed her wand, she watched in horror as they beat down the Ravenclaw student who'd been on the train and as one of the cowboys grabbed an older Slytherin girl forcefully. Everly winced.
And then, to sum it up, chaos exploded.
Two Gryffindor girls started punching and more cool fighting stuff, and then a half-giant joined the fight, and then - a levitating suitcase, one that looked oddly familiar. Everly tensed as she debated whether or not to pull out her wand, going straight into the belly of the beast. Without a second thought, without knowing if she was being brave or stupid, she pulled out her wand from its concealed spot in her sleeve and set someone on fire.
Well, at least now she knew what burning to the stake meant.
Clutching her wand with a death grip in a desperate attempt to make sure no one grabbed it, she spoke the incantation and fired off her spell.
"Incendio!"
Then she moved, quickly running and ducking behind the crowd, trying her best not to trip over people and hiding herself, running away before anyone spotted her lighting a fire.
Hopefully she wouldn't be fined for setting the train on fire?

Raine jerked away from the window when she heard the commotion outside the compartment. Seriously? They have robbers on the Hogwarts Express? What kind of...how the hell were Muggles even able to see the train?
And then she heard one of them yell out: "For S.C.A.R!"
The name sounded familiar, and it was just at the moment that one of the jerks came closer to her compartment that she remembered hearing about the group from her aunt. A group of Squibs who wanted to stop witches and wizards from using and having magic since they, themselves, could not wield a wand and use magic. Well wasn't that just a sad situation?
But that all sounded like a personal flipping problem to Raine.
That may have seemed harsh and mean, but she damn sure wasn't going to be happy to be mugged by a bunch of Neanderthals who figured that magical kids of varying ages were an easy target. They would realize that this group of kids were the wrong group to mess with.
Moving to stand at the door of the compartment again, Raine pulled her wand out from the arm holster she received from her aunt at Christmas; a present given to her for winning her dueling stage last term. Taking a deep breath, she stepped behind the older boy and grabbed onto the back of his shirt (or sweater), alerting him that she was there behind him and pointed her wand through the gap between the boy's arm and the compartment door frame at the man in front of him. Forcefully and with determination, she said "Slugulus Eructo" and hoped that it would hit the villain threatening them.
Raije would be damned if she was giving her wand up willingly and without a fight.

As she turned to start her movement, a familiar voice called her over. Her duelling partner requested information about her destination.
She turned and after hearing Vladimir mumbling something the back of her head clicked and a strange aching appeared. She touched her hair and instantly turned around to look Vladimir in the eye. What was that? Vladimir suddenly felt like danger rather than a nuisance. Her joyful mood changed to a worrying one. With a frown she continued moving towards the exit.
Just as they reached the end of the car to observe the strange suitcase accident, something happened at the other side of the car with a loud shout. But everything got clear (sending a huge wave of shiver down her spine) once she heard the S.C.A.R. word.
So, they couldn't be muggles as it was impossible to see the train. At least that was what she thought. Could squibs see it? She started to slowly move towards the strangely dressed men (she doesn't know what a cowboy is) with her wand in hand. Moments after she saw Vladimir downed, blood spiralling in the air and spells cast fight starting. She had no words for exclamation or cursing — everything was happening too fast. One of the men held the bag as if he was going to collect something. But there was no time even to think. She made sure @Xailah Alptraum turned the other way, and with a movement of her wand, she shouted a clear "Lumos Maxima!" and would send it all across the car towards the clash between the students and the men, who will suffer much harder very soon.

A direct answer was not given to her, but the events following Calanthe’s question did enough to alert the young witch that a dangerous situation was brewing just a few compartments down from her own. Slowly retreating and sliding the door shut behind her, Calanthe turned to the other person in the compartment. The girl was blonde, with an unfamiliar face and a herbology book in hand.
“Uhm, ‘scuse me. Something bad’s going on out there. I think… cowboys? They looked like cowboys. There are literal ranchers on the train. They just beat up some kid,” she whisper-shouted, as if any of the Stetson-wearing freaks could hear her this far down the car. Remembering that her wand was tucked away in the knapsack she was using as a headrest, Calanthe reached for the bag and started digging through it. She was getting better at remembering to take it with her, but remembering to keep it on her body every second was going to take some practice.
“Does the term scar mean anything to you? Like… S.C.A.R, an acronym, I think,” she questioned, unsure of if her compartment-mate was even in a stable state of mind. Feeling her wand stashed at the bottom of the knapsack, she yanked it out and returned to the door and leaned her back against it. “Do you think we should just stay in here? … I think we should stay in here… No. No. I don’t like that idea.” The girl who refused to say more than three words to anyone mumbled her thoughts through panic.
With wide eyes and a tight grip on her wand, Calanthe opened the door and surveyed the goings-on of the car. She first caught sight of some unrelated commotion with a trunk, and an unfortunately familiar kid traipsing up the aisle with it in hand. Down where the western-themed campaign’s NPCs were gathered, she noticed acts of physical violence being attempted by her peers and some spells being cast, including… Blast… Incendio. The Stetsons would be the least of their worries if that spell went off.
Chiding herself for not studying the general counterspell harder, Calanthe aimed down the aisle at the closest Stetson and spoke clearly, intending to knock the cowboy into his friends, while avoiding her peers.
“Flipendo.”
