I walked through the streets of West London, it was bustly, as usual, I seen some friendly faces, putting Galleons into the cups of the performers and the homeless. I enjoyed it, being home finally. I smiled at the shop owners. They waved and I continued on my way. I reached my street and headed straight for the park across from my house, watching kids play, I sat on a swing and ate some muggle chocolate, dark, my favorite. I played with my hair and gently swung. Dad and Mom used to bring me and Natalia here, this was also the place where I had first learned to ride a bike. Back before the divorce anyways, my sister had repaired the necklace Meredith, my ex, had given me, I slid it back and forth on the chain. Its soothing vibrations calming my nerves sufficiently. Taking a bite of the chocolate, I set it down by my jacket and started swinging, the cold chains creaked with familiarity. I started laughing, I was free, my home across the street, the laughter surrounding me, nothing like the lonely, cold Slytherin common room back at Hogwarts. The warm sun hit my face, the cold chains of the swing numbing my hands. It was, in all its imperfections. Perfect. I caught a glimpse of a rival Gryffindor across the playground, it was Candace, a frequent rival in my potions class.
