Henry would follow his best friend into the kitchen but once inside, he had to maneuver out of the way as he watched her throw two cookies against the wall and nearly got hit but luckily didn't. Henry would then hear her words and approached the girl, placing his hands on her shoulders and slightly gripping them but also rubbing them as he spoke " it's alright, no one is saying you have to like her or anything. And my family knows she can be a handful so her opinion doesn't really matter anyway," the boy would then wrapped his arms around her from behind and give her almost a hug as he continued in his comforting and low voice " Anna doesn't like many people anyway, she doesn't like me so it's fine relax. Everything else went great, right Logan? So don't let her win, don't let her score a point. Let's just continue the night and have the best time ever tonight." Smiling a bit at his best friend as he gave her a tighter hug from behind and really just wanted to help her.

Back in the dining room, Arthur would nod before turning to Adam's sister and say " here miss Baird, let me help you clean this all up," he then would began to stack plates and help her clean up the dining table as Luke approached Adam and offered the man a half smile, unusual to see him smile at least for his kids, before the man would speak " still I apology for my daughters behavior, she can be out of line most days but to make it up to you. Please one day during the summer holiday, I invite you and your entire family to my house for dinner Adam."

However upstairs, Annabeth would watch Rorik follow and roll her eyes at the boy since he took longer to come. However she would keep his arm around Alexander and squeeze tighter as he spoke to the boy " you did it Alex, you won the bet because you a little genius and obviously the brains here."

Henry readjusted himself as Logan turned so he could give her a hug back as he listened to the girl before speaking " don't apology Logan, you were angry and upset but now that it's over. Let's go back to continuing to have an amazing night," smiling at his best friend since the twelve year old was certain on having a great night no matter what happened with his twin sister and her identical twin brothers. After letting go of her, Henry would pick up two trays before nodding as he spoke " alright then, doesn't sound that bad," before the boy would follow his best friend to the family room when she would go and set the two trays down on the table.

Back in the dining room however, Arthur would aunt toward Logan's aunt as he pick up a few trays before speaking "it's not a problem miss Baird," however once out of ear shot from his father Arthur would lean in close and whisper to the women, " I also should thank your niece, I don't think I never seen Henry this outgoing or social before," which was true since before Hogwarts the boy had a stutter and dwelt with his anxiety daily which forced him to stay alone and isolated himself on most days from other kids.

Luke lightly patted him on the shoulder since his fall on his back before replying " we look forward to hosting you then and before we should catch up at the ministry, there are a few thing I been meaning to question you without the chance of unsuspecting ears listening in," which meant the man was referring to his daughter who was more likely to do such thing which allowed him to worry about her presence on Adam's two identical twin boys.

Annabeth clearly saw the two were close and won't come apart for a while which she might have saw as strange but no matter the girl would then throw both her arms around the two boys, one around each before saying with a hint of a smile " double the trouble then," her eyes then twinkled with a spect of mischief as she continued " keep in touch with owls and I'll teach you two how to become mischief kings before starting at Hogwarts."

Grinning at Henry, Logan quickly grabbed the last couple trays of desserts off the counter and made her way into the family room down the hall. Even though she was mad at Anna, she wasn't going to let it bring down her mood. She wanted this to be a great Christmas and one moody girl was not going to ruin that for her. Glancing over at the tree in the corner, Logan grinned as she noticed the small stack of presents for Henry that sat on the left, along with presents for the rest of his family. She was excited for him to open the presents she had picked out for him.

Hannah Baird sighed as she looked at the rest of the dining room, she knew it was good for Logan and Henry to have each other. She knew Logan would never leave alone with the way she acted, and Henry would probably never leave Logan either. "How about we leave the rest of this for later and go finish our dinner in the family room," Hannah said with a smile on her face as she could assume Henry and Logan had gotten the desserts to the family room.

Adam Baird glanced over at Luke and nodded his head. He knew his twins had a habit of listening in, and assumed with the way his daughter acted that she would listen in on the conversation as well. "Yes, we can meet in my office while everyone else is distracted with their gifts later if you would wish." Adam never made his office sound proof due to having three children he would need to keep an eye on, but now he was regretting that greatly.

The twins grinned at each other with the thought of being mischief kings at Hogwarts. They were going to be their in two years, so they had plenty of time between now and then to be able to master their pranking and mischief making.

Placing the two dessert trays next to Logan's, the twelve year old would then examine but also admire the family room as he looked around before organizing and placing the gifts that his family brought for hers under the tree. Once he was done, Henry would stand and make his way next to Logan before speaking " so what should we do now, robin?"

Back in the dining room, Arthur would nod toward the lady before taking the plates from her and firstly hold the door or doors open for the three still in the dining room then second place the plates next to the desserts where finally he would take a seat on the couch next to the arm.

Luke was still occupied with Adam and appeared to have been enjoying the conversation as he nodded before speaking "you office sounds good and perhaps a sound charm also just to be sure no uninvited guests listen in," Luke would then follow Adam out of the dining room when he went of course before finding a standing spot in the back, watching the rest.

Annabeth seemed rather proud of herself with the two identical twins, who knows maybe a part of her was wishing at least one would be a squib to or another part was wishing for the two to become her eyes inside the wall's of hogwarts. No matter what was going through the girl's wicked head, one thing was clear that she certainly like the two as she kept her hands around both their shoulders before saying "once school starts up again, I might visit you two by floo once and while just keep it to yourself got it?" Not that she cared if someone found out as she continued " the three of us can become a trio of mischief that never get caught, I'll teach you two everything so you can cause trouble but never get caught."

Logan grinned at Henry as she grabbed a cookie off of one of the trays and flopped onto the couch. "Eat cookies and get fat," she told him simply as she grabbed another handful of cookies. She honestly wasn't sure what else there was to do when there were multiple trays of cookies in front of them. "We are not allowed to open presents until the others are in here, which could be a while." The Hufflepuff glanced at the door, hoping it would probably be a bit until the rest of the families got into the family room.

Hannah smiled at Arthur as she followed him into the family room with the last plate of cookies. She glanced over at her niece who had her mouth shoved full of cookies and had a few in her hands still. "Logan, save cookies for everyone else. I swear child, you eat enough for three people." Hannah jokingly scolded as she took the cookies out of Logan's hand and set them back on the tray, only for her niece to attempt and take them back.

Adam smiled and nodded at Luke before making his way out of the dining room, calling for the twins up the stairs as he passed them. He knew they would do anything to open their presents soon, so he assumed the boys would hear him. He made his way into the family room after, taking the cookies out of his daughter's hands as he passed her. "Oh come on!" He chuckled as he silently nibbled on the cookies in the back of the room.

The twins were listening to everything Annabeth said, "Come whenever you want, it isn't like we pay attention to our tutor that often anyway." The twins laughed as they though of the old women, constantly having to chance the boys down around the house. At the sound of their father's voice, the twins grinned at Anna. "Let us go open presents." Rorik called out as he took off out of the room.

Henry would sit on the couch next to Logan but only take one cookie, he wasn't that big on sweets or sugar in general some would refer to it as odd. Henry bit into the cookie while a smile spread across his face before he would say " I'll leave the cookies for you then robin," before nodding to her comment about the presents as he watched as the other made their way into the room.

Laughing a bit at Logan's commentary, the twelve year old would pass her his own cookie as he spoke " here," before leaning back into his brother's shoulder whom was unusually quiet as he starched Loki's ears for a moment before the cat would get bored and wander around the family room for a while.

Luke stood closer to the back with his hands in his pockets as he watched over the rest meanwhile upstairs Annabeth was getting comfortable with the identical twins as she smirk before speaking " tutors, how boring," hearing their protests with opening gifts although she would agree with a nod. Making her way back downstairs,
the girl would speak " I wonder what other trouble is brewing," however once she would get downstairs the girl would cross her arms and lean against the railing of the stairs avoiding eye contact with everyone else there except the identical twins.

Logan smiled at Henry as he handed her a cookie, "Thank you, at least someone here likes me," she turned to her father and childishly stuck her tongue out at him as he shoved one of the cookies into his mouth. At least they were getting along rather well now, they weren't arguing at least. When she noticed that everyone was in the family room, Logan quickly stood up at the nod of her aunt. The Hufflepuff picked up a pile of presents and set them in front of Henry. She grinned happily at him, as the bottom box was rather large. It was a tradition in the Baird family that, if they did have guests over, that they were required to open their presents before anyone from the Baird family could open theirs. No one ever minded the tradition, although guests were not that common.

Hannah Baird smiled as she walked over and picked up a stack of two boxes from under the tree, the paper a cream with pink flowers. Hannah was in charge of getting Anna presents, even though they knew nothing about her. The woman hoped the girl would at least like the presents a little bit.

The twins were next to take off to the tree and each grabbed a box. They had spent quite a bit of time picking out the presents for Arthur, as they didn't know him at all either. Luckily, Logan was able to tell them a bit about the young adult, as she had heard some about him from Henry. The boys quickly placed the plain brown wrapped presents with red ribbon in front of the older boy before making their way to stand behind Logan, although she turned enough that she was able to see them out of the corner of her eye. She did not trust them standing behind her.

Adam Baird smiled at his sister and children as he walked over and grabbed a red wrapped box. "It is a family tradition that guests open presents first." He explained as he handed the box to Luke Alluring. Even though Adam did not know the man, he assumed that what he had gotten him was going to be a good enough present.

Logan grinned at Henry as she watched him open his presents, it made her happy that her best friend was happy. She had spent quite a bit of time attempting to think of what presents the boy would like. The riding helmet was the first thing she had gotten, knowing he had wanted to learn how to ride a horse at some point. That present was followed by the wolf necklace and she had a matching fox one in her bedroom. The notebook had been a last minute gift, Logan had seen it while walking back to her aunt's shop after a dance lesson. The Hufflepuff was happy with the gifts she had picked out for the boy though.

Glancing at Henry as he passed her gifts to her, she gave him a questioning look, hoping it was something good. She honestly didn't want the boy to get her anything, she knew they weren't the richest family, but she was still happy no matter what. The girl glanced over at her family as she waited them to get their presents. She knew the twins would rip their presents open almost immediately, although she always waited until everyone else was ready before opening hers.

Slowly, Logan pulled the ribbon off of her first present, making sure she was careful not to tear the paper at all. Her brothers would always laugh at her because of how long it took her to open presents, but it never bothered Logan a bit. The girl would sometimes use a bit of the paper for scrapbooks of turn them into bookmarks. Logan hadn't even gotten her first present open and yet her brothers were done, the paper thrown on the floor to be picked up later. The Hufflepuff glanced over and only rolled her eyes at their presents, wonderful something else for them to get in trouble with. Her aunt and father had also opened their gifts, a squeal coming from her aunt at the sight of a new cookbook and a polite 'thank you' from her father.

Going back to opening her presents, Logan grinned at the sight of them. "Thank you Henry," Logan laughed as she gently set her presents to the side and threw her arms around her best friend. She absolutely loved the presents, loving the fact that they were so unique. While she was hugging Henry, she reached over to grab another cookie off of the table in front of the couch, hoping her father wouldn't notice. The girl had a serious problem when it came to cookies.
