"Why, Haley Rose...I never thought you'd ask," he said as he paused as if he was just in awe of the moment. "I would LOVE that. Yes, yes, a thousand times yes," and he stood up this time and lifted her up effortlessly by the waist and spun her around a few times.

So she had been practicing. He was proud of her for that! It would have been a shame to let it fall by the way side and let a stereotype damage her hopes and dreams. He set her back down gently and watched her, and he was pretty sure he could tell she was confident about her proposal.

"Seriously though? Right now? Right now in this?" he smiled, knowing he read that the Chamber of Secrets had flooded a time or two in the research that he had done in the library on the hidden cavern within the school.

They both still had on their fancy dance attire but he didn't mind. Honestly, he wasn't quite sure that he would even ever were this again although it had been one of his favorite suits. He didn't ever think he'd have a burgundy one but wanted to make sure to match Haley's outfit which had succeeded in.

"I don't mind at all. Not a bit," he added quickly, letting her know that wasn't a problem for him. Besides, going back to individual dormitories to change and stuff would only make them later and later towards curfew. Again, not that he minded getting caught, but it would only bring their time together shorter for that evening.

And with the way this night was going he wanted as much time out of it as he could.

Haley couldn't stop laughing as Simon lifted her up and spun her through the air. She put her hands on his shoulders for a little more support and kept laughing. "A thousand times yes." She repeated his words and called them down the corridor. Like she wanted everybody to hear her words. To hear that he accepted her proposal. She loved these moments, these moments where she could only laugh, these moments full of fun and nonsense. When Simon set her down again, she let her hands rest on his shoulders and continued to grin broadly at him.

She now gently hold his face with her hands and answered his question, "I don't do things by halves. Yes, right now." She let go and looked at him demandingly to make it clear that there was no going back now. She calmed down a little and prepared herself inwardly. She had to make it. Maybe she needed a few tries but she believed in herself. She had the talent in her, no question about it, and so she would make it tonight.

She took a few deep breaths and looked back at Simon, "Follow me." And they left the corridor and made their way to the chamber.
