Henry offered the girl a side glanced as a smile crept across his face before eyeing the fox necklace that she was fiddling with in her hands as he lightly brushed back the few strands of hair that few down into his face the twelve year old felt the wolf necklace and sun pendant connect underneath his shirt as the metal cool his skin but also brought him a strange sense of comfort.

"I'm sure Anna would find a way to hide your brother just to have them stay with her," Henry replied with a smile as he watched Loki pounce on the grass before chasing after Sherlock and climbing the tree after him. The twelve year old always thought that Loki was more comfortable in trees and the outdoors in the breeze then inside especially in places such as the library which was Henry's favorite place or one of his favorite places.

Henry leaned his head back on the tree and rested his hands on his knees as his eyes drifted across the great lake. Watching the current run up to the rocky shore and back, a ripple sometimes breaking through from the giant squid while the outer edges of the forbidden forest reflected in the water from across the distance.

"Even if I can't stay with you robin, I'm not going home. I'll stay with Arthur, I'm sure he'll be alright with that but I'm not going home. I can't-" Henry spoke but couldn't bring all his words out. He couldn't. Something was stopping him, he knew how he felt and why he didn't want to go home but he couldn't put those feelings to words. It was odd.

Logan smiled over at Henry sadly, she slightly understood what he was going through, but not fully. She wrapped her arms around Henry's neck in a hug. She just wanted to comfort him at this point. "Just remember that you are welcome in my home at any time. We can convert the extra room on my floor into a bedroom if we have to." The room had always been used for storage, mostly because everyone was too lazy to put everything into the attic. Glancing out to the lake, the Hufflepuff decided to change the subject.

"Your birthday is coming up, what do you want?" The brunette questioned, even though she had already gotten his birthday present over Christmas break. Sadly he wouldn't be able to get it until he came to her house over summer break, but that would be fine. She grinned at the memory of the present and pulled away from her best friend as she smiled at him happily. Who didn't like talking about their birthday to their best friend? It also would hopefully get Henry's mind off touchy subjects and onto the fact he would be turning thirteen rather soon, well, two months but close enough.

Remembering the Baird's house and Logan's room on the floor, the twelve year old nodded before saying " I'll keep it mind,the idea does sound like one right out of a book so," memory was one thing that the boy had especially when it came to books or classes as he bit the bottom of his lip a bit going through lists of books in his head trying to connect them to the situation.

"It could be a tale straight out of the secret garden or wonderland or Narnia or-" still thinking of book titles which was something that calm him down. Whenever he was stressed the boy found thinking about book titles usually helped him calm down or breath slower which again was odd but the geek inside him certainly enjoyed it.

However when mention of his birthday came up, Henry looked back at Loki still playing with Sherlock a small smile spread across his face as memories of past birthdays started to flow in his mind. Shaking them away, the twelve year old never liked his birthday and enjoyed seeing it as any other normal day probably because he never truly celebrated it after his mum died or maybe it was something else still the boy never enjoyed the day all that much.

"Come on robin, you knew me for close to two years now. You should I'll be happy with a book," Henry replied with a goofy smile before turning back to the lake as he took a deep breath inhaling the cool breeze around him before exhaling.
His eyes slightly looking over at his best friend before he spoke "just promise me on my birthday that you'll treat it like any other normal day like last year," Henry had mix thoughts on his birthday but quickly moved past the thought as he spoke " what about you? Anything you want for your birthday Robin?"

Logan grinned at the thought of Henry staying at her house. They would be able to have so much fun together. "You would be able to design your room however you would like, so you could have a Narnia themed room if you would like." She loved when she had designed her room as it had been quite a bit of fun. She would love to do that again, but with a different room.

At the mention of getting Henry only a book, she rolled her eyes. "Fine, I'll get you a book, but expect something else as well. I am not getting you only a book." The Hufflepuff was going to need to think of a book for her father to send her, as she wanted it to have something in common with the rest of his present. She knew he wasn't going to be happy if she made a big deal out of his birthday, so she did agree to not making a big deal of the day.

"Fine I won't make a big deal, but when we go on summer break we are going to celebrate both of our birthdays together and we are going to go out to eat." It was a tradition her family had for a while. On her birthday they would go out to dinner as a family to celebrate with the birthday child choosing where they would eat. Since she was at school during her birthday, she had to wait until she got home to be able to go out to dinner with her family.

Logan honestly hadn't thought about what she wanted for her birthday, but she knew she wanted to spend it with Henry. She thought for a minute before grinning at the boy, "I want cookies and I want you to come to one of my Eventing competitions over summer break." She didn't want a lot, but it would make her happy if Henry was able to experience one of her competitions over the summer.

Henry would look over at Logan Witt a smile before shaking his head back while pushing a few strands of hair back before leaning his head back on the tree as he spoke " a mix of Narnia and wonderland sounds adventurous," giving his best friend a quick smile before slightly learning up against her as his eyes drifted back toward Loki and Sherlock.

Letting out a small chuckle toward her reply about getting him a book for his birthday, Henry couldn't help but grow his smile as he spoke " you already got me something? Any early telling?" The end of that sentence had a touch of a laugh since he meant it as a joke.

"Celebrating them together over the summer holiday sounds brilliant, why didn't we think of that last year?" Henry spoke before his eyes sparkled with a gleam of a idea as he continued " what about we make our own tradition? Every summer holiday we celebrate our birthdays together, robin?" Henry hoped that she would agree since the idea of celebrating the day with another sounded amazing even through for 10 years before Hogwarts, the boy did celebrate with another his twin sister but as they grew apart those day's sometime seem to stop or become a bummer to live through for the twelve year old.

" Alright I'll get you cookies and come to all of your competitions over the summer holiday, Robin. But I am going to get something else as well," Henry replied remembering that he already got something for Logan well saw something for her, the boy still didn't get it yet but was going to write to his brother to ask him if he could get the item for him.

"NO! No early telling. You will find out about your other gift on your birthday. Until then you are just going to have to think about all of the possibilities of what your present is going to be." Logan laughed as she lay against the tree with a smile on her face. At the thought of not having celebrated their birthdays together the year before, the Hufflepuff only shook her head. She had spent most of the summer at the Quidditch games, so it wasn't like she had much time to celebrate her birthday in general. She had thought the small party with Henry and Elsian had been enough though.

"Sure Charm, we can spend our birthdays together from here on out. That is actually a good idea." It made the girl kind of happy that she would be able to spend her birthday with someone she was actually able to talk to. Yes her family celebrated her birthday with her when she was home, but she couldn't talk to them like she could henry. He was her best friend, it was just different. A grin formed on Logan's face though as he mentioned going to all of her competitions.

"Oh, we are going to be spending a lot of time together if you come to all of my competitions, as they are almost every weekend. But if you want to come to every competition, come to every competition. It will be nice to have someone there to cheer me on instead of telling me to fall of my horse." The Hufflepuff could remember all of the competitions where her brothers would just call out to her, hoping she would fall off because they always found it funny. Logan never found it funny, but the twins sure did. "You don't have to get me anything else Charm, I am perfectly okay with you just being there for me."

"Thinking is my strong suit so if you don't want me to figure it out then shouldn't I not think?" Henry questioned his best friend with a goofy smile as he was enjoying their conversation and sitting under the tree with her. It was peaceful and calm, two things that are hard to come by now days as Henry leaned his back against the tree and watched Loki and Sherlock.

"It could be our tradition," Henry replied upon hearing that she liked his shared birthdays during the summer holiday idea. The twelve year old smiled before continuing " it could be another symbol of our friendship in a way, no matter what happens throughout the year one day each year during the summer holiday we get together to celebrate each other." The second year loved the idea of celebrating his birthday with Logan especially since he always had someone there celebrating it with him (his twin) and now that him and Annabeth are growing apart, the boy thought it would be amazing to celebrate with his best friend.

"I'm not going to have anything better to do," Henry joked with a smile toward Logan before continuing " plus, I would love to come to all of your competitions Robin. It's going to be fun to cheer you all not that you'll need it," the twelve year old would lock eyes with his best friend for a moment as he smiled before looking back at the felines.

"Too late, I already got something for you and no take backs or anything else! I want to get you something robin, so let me have this," Henry spoke with a smile toward Logan before leaning against the tree and his eyes meeting the two felines while he spoke " can we just sit here for a bit longer Logan?"

Logan grinned and shook her head a bit at her best friend. "You can think all you want Charm, but you are not going to be able to guess what I got you." She was going to have fun messing with the boy, making him guess what his present was. If he did end up guessing what the present was, she was going to be very surprised.

"Who said I don't need someone to cheer me on. Maybe no one cheers for me and I need that motivation?" Logan laughed as she knew that was a complete lie. She was almost a completely different person when it came to her competitions. She was normally more focused on what she was doing than what was actually going on around her. It was very similar to her dance recitals, focus on what you are doing, not what others are doing.

"I am assuming you are not going to tell me what you got me?" Logan said to the boy with a grin on her face. She smiled at the boy beside her as he mentioned just staying there for a bit. "Yeah Henry, we can stay here for as long as we would like."
