Hiding and Home Sick
Eri Windstone sat in the Astronomy tower alone and fighting back tears. She missed her home and her aunt so much. She always remembered her aunt said that the astronomy tower was her favorite place and the best place to see the stars at night in the entire world.
She was hiding from her piers since she did not want to cry or admit that she felt week at that moment in time. She was never one to admit her weakness in front of anyone. It made her feel incompetent of doing anything. Also she just needed her space to breath.
The brunette must have been up there for at least ten minutes and it was becoming very dark. She did not plan on leaving anytime soon. It was too peaceful for her and she planned on sleeping up here if she was not caught.
So there Eri sat clutching her golden circular locket with a tree engraved on it. Inside was the picture of her parents and her aunt. Her cold hand wiped tears from her face as she tried to calm down. She didn't want to be in the common room because nobody seemed homesick and she was embarrassed to cry in front of people.
The stars twinkled above as she looked up and observed them. Tears blurred her vision as she sat in the cold tower. It was a relief to be alone for that moment but she still wished someone was there but she did not no anybody that she wanted to be with her at that moment. She had only met a few people since she got to Hogwarts and they all seemed nice.
She wiped stray strands of her brown hair from her tear streaked face. Oh how much she missed her home. She missed her aunt, her room, all of her books, and the familiarity of her home. She really wanted to go home but she needed to stay at Hogwarts. It would disappoint her aunt if Eri came home unable to stay at Hogwarts just because of homesickness.
It was beginning to get cold up in the tower. The tears continued to streak down her face as she continued calming her self down. Unable to stop or slow down the tears she looked up at the beautiful starry sky and tried to distract herself from her thoughts as she sat in the cold tower alone unaware that someone may or may not be standing behind her.

Hiding and Home Sick
Jake put on his Slytherin cloak over his regular clothes he was having a bad day, his brown hair drooped over his eyes he stumbled a bit while walking up the stairs to the astronomy tower were he could be alone with the stars. He got to the astronomy tower and saw Eri Windstone "his eyes widened" "Sorry if I bothered you". He saw that she was crying and shivering. He walked towards her with a little smile, "It looks like your sick if you haven't gotten my name yet it's Jake Grimstone at your service..." His voice died down she was sad but he didn't know why it seemed. He took off his cloak and put it on her shoulders it was getting pretty chilly as the night sky rolled in.
"Hey you know you look good in that Slytherin cloak" he cocked his eyebrow at her and with a slight grin on his face. He knew his jokes wouldn't be enough well she looked beautiful in the moonlight his mother had brunette hair and she always look nice and so did Eri. "I see your crying a bit is it because you miss home or am I mistaken". He felt a tear roll down his cheeks, he wiped it off and looked up at the stars he missed his mother she was amazing and awesome but sometimes things don't go the way he wanted to and he had to adjust and try to live with it. "I miss my family to as other people do when they got here but I guess some people need help to find this way". He looked at her with his blue eyes reflecting the moon in the sky and the wind swooshing by his face getting red from the cold. He saw his Slytherin cloak on her blown by the wind also her brunette hair. He wanted the urge to just tell her his feelings but something couldn't let me for some reason.

She smiled and tried to hide her shivering. "T-Thank you. I-I do look good in it." She laughed weakly at his joke and smiled. "N-Nice to meet you Jake. I'm Eri W-Windstone." She stuttered from the cold. It was nice of him to let her borrow his cloak. She liked that he was trying to cheer her up. Clearly since he could tell she was upset. Nobody would be able to miss her tears since they were practically all over her face. Casually she wiped the tears from her face. At least they stopped flowing down her cheeks. It was still cold and she thought he should have his cloak back so she gestured to hand it back to him.
She looked at him and sighed. "Yes. I-I have never b-been anywhere without my aunt. Thank you for trying to make me feel better. At least somebody cares." Her aunt well that's a new one most people hated their aunt's but that's why god made us different well that's what he thought. Jake looked at her, "It s a beautiful night right.. but super cold.. cold" he couldn't stop shivering he just wanted something warm to hold on to. He knew that most people hated being here at first but then they got used to it with help from a friend. Alright he really liked it here but he missed his mom a lot... and that's what really matters is to have someone in your life. "So.. your aunt is she nice you know holidays are like in a bit you can go and visit her I'm going to be staying here because my mother is on a work trip." He finished with a sigh and his face started to get more red and cold. He got up and wiped his clothes from dust.
"Do your want to go inside or something or stay out here". It's really not much of my choice you can choose if you want. He looked towards the sun that was actually rising? Was he here for the whole night!!! But he actually spent time with a girl. She might like him but he was not so sure but he liked her as well.

She gave him his cloak back seeing that he was cold. Eri stood up. She had dried her face enough to not be able to tell that she had been crying. "Sure. Let's go inside. My aunt? I wouldn't want to miss celebrating the Holidays with her. My parents are famous journalists for the daily prophet. So they are never around. She is really nice. I am sure she wouldn't mind if you come along for the holidays." She smiled and walked towards the door. The sun was rising. Really she had been up there all night with him. She thinks he is really nice. She might even like him.
She yawned and waited for him to come to the stairs. "I mean I live with my Aunt so that is why I miss her. She is an animagus by the way. Which is really cool." She looked at the sun rising. The grounds could be seen so well from the astronomy tower. It was such a beautiful sight. The lake could be seen as the sun rise reflected off it's surface. Breakfast wouldn't start for awhile so they would have time to talk some more if they so wished.

Eri gave him his cloak back which felt amazing to have back after the what? 5 hours outside with her which he didn't know how he survived. "Alright inside it is I hope in breakfast we have pancakes and some other stuff and your aunt sounds cool so do your parents". He wanted to meet her whole family also she could visit my mother which was in a work vacation sorta. He also was really hungry and now that he was in a good mood well it grumbled a lot. "So your a Ravenclaw right? He looks at her clothes which are blue at the time." The sun was so bright he started getting water in his eyes he yawned and walked towards her at the doorway.
"Oh you live with your aunt well I lived with my mother and brother which are cool and you should meet them as well". He started walking down the stairs but stopped to wait for her. "Hey I'm super hungry for breakfast and to talk to you more so let's go". He started laughing, "You wait as long as you like I don't mine just hope we don't miss out on Pancakes". He ruffled his hair and put his cloak on without the hood on.
