Lockdown
31st of October, around 5PM
Caradoc quickened his pace as he walked down the stairs and ended up in the small hall. His gaze checking if any students were still around, though by now most of them should have been rounded up and gathered in their common rooms. Elaine had passed him earlier, informing him that three of her students had gone missing. A few moments after he would receive a letter saying the same from Marcus. It seemed the two of them were out to handle the situation outside.
In the meantime he was being asked to lock down the castle. So the Head of Hufflepuff sent word to a member of each house to go and round up their respective houses and gather them in the common rooms. The hour was growing close to dinner time, so food would have to be sent to their rooms separately if this was not resolved rapidly. Zahid had assured him to take care of his own house, so Caradoc was able to do his rounds in the castle itself and close all entries. The full moon was nigh today, it came rather soon, too soon if you were racing against time.
The snap of his fingers echoed through the empty hall as he looked up to the giant doors that were slowly turning to a close. He had already passed by all the other exits, this was the final one. Now all that rested for him was continuing his patrols around the perimeter. He wasn't sure if the abduction of children was meant as either an attack or a distraction. Regardless, it meant danger had returned to Hogwarts. A deep sigh escaped his breath as he heard the clicking sounds of locks closing. Just another day at the office...

Whether you got the full information on why this was happening depends on what the professor assigned to your house explained to you. It is at their full disclosure. Lockdown
Word spread across campus of Hogwarts going into lockdown. Students were being herded into their common rooms by their Professors and Prefects as quickly as possible. As a professor associated with the Hufflepuff house, Maya helped bring all students into their common rooms. When Zahid was given the notice to be the one watching over the common rooms and Hufflepuff students, Maya exited the common rooms to make rounds. She, like other staff, had to be sure that every student was accounted for to be safe.
Three students were missing and it was shared with the Professors that one of them was a werewolf. It happened to be that this Halloween night was a fullmoon. It couldn't have been a perfect twist in her Hogwarts career.
Maya first jumped from the Hufflepuff commons to her office on the first floor. Looking for any students who could be roaming around the corridors. She was content to find it silent. Maya entered her classroom and to the back where her office began. Knowing it was a werewolf on the lose, she took off her red cloak and placed it on her desk. Underneath her cloak was an outfit that was all in black. It was moreorless workout clothing that allowed her to move swiftly if needed. Grabbing hold of her wand--leaving her cloak-- and she left her office and classroom and made her way to the ground floor.
Doors were shut and locked. No one was to be seen. Silence roamed the hallways. Maya double checked other doors and windows that she passed by, ensuring that they were bolted closed. When she made her way to the Small Hall, she peaked in to find Caradoc Browne, the Hufflepuff Head of House.
From the look on his face, he was stressed. He had every right to be so. Since the disappearance and later, the lack of, Solomon Lear, Maya believed that Caradoc was given more responsibility of running the school. Maya had high respects for Caradoc.
She walked in to show her presence to the man of leadership. "Hogwarts' full lockdown is very much complete," she confirmed, hoping that the lockdown portion of his stress would ease.
