The Crystal Ball. It was a special event that was taking place for the Shipper's Club. Eliza, Being a member, had bought a dress for this occasion. She was new, didnt intend to be shipped, but she still attend the club and parties. Blue, glittery streamers were hung about in the ballroom, and decorations, Balloons and candlesticks, and the game that this party was all about, The Crystal Balls. Whether she had a crush, she wanted to see other's opinions on romance, and if she was "Unshippable" Like she had said she was. Never mind that~ It was time to party. For her plan, in which they had chosen, she had thought of small snacks, such as sugar drops, Mini cookies, Punch, with a small love potion? No, too much. She laughed at herself, brushing her hair and adjusting her bow before she left to the dance. 'I wonder if anything Special will happen between two members~' She thought, smiling and closing the painting of the fat lady. It was time. No more locking herself into her dorm, no more sitting alone. She was apart of a Club, and there was a reason, to make friends, have some fun. Its alright, just here to have a bit of, an adventure, with people who have similar interests as her. Witches, and Wizards, now she just sounded like a teacher or headmaster. None of that blah. As she walked down to the Ballroom, she retied her bow, admiring the decorations they had set up. 'Just like the theme!' She thought, walking over to the center of the room. The lighting, nice, crisp blue, the light dim, oh so romantic! She smiled. Few students were there, each one dressed-up. She looked around, smiling, the music a small, quiet low tempo. It was great, perfect, prepared, she laughed. "This is gonna be great~"Word count: 325

I was putting on the sparkling green dress my mom had gotten me.
I was going to The Crystal Ball. I had to look my best. I did my make-up a silver and green duo with white eyeliner, it was going to be spectacular! I took the necklace Meredith gave me off. It was time to move on. Over a few weeks, my mind had changed. I looked to Natalia, paying no attention, as usual. I huffed slightly. I wasn't going to let her bring me down. I was a Pansexual, I was determined for tonight to end up going my way. I put on red lipstick. But then again, I could blow this... No! I wouldn't let myself think that way! I took out my red contact lense, my blue eyes shining. I put on my glasses. I looked stunning. I pinned my hair back, I had re-dyed my red streak to white. I smiled at myself in the mirror, 'You look amazing, Natalie... Own it! Be you! Its an important night, no way in heck ya could blow it!' I thought to myself. Sitting down on my bed I pulled my heels on, just some plain green ones. Nothing special.
I glanced at myself one final time before walking out of the common room, my heels clicked as I walked down the hall way. It was time, time to move on. Time to prove the ghosts of my past wrong, it was my night to shine brighter than any star in the sky. My nerves began to unravel as I neared the doors. I paused, everything seeming a blurr. I slowly walked in trying not to let my own fear show through, the music was perfect. The blue ribbons, everything was amazing. I saw Eliza and walked over nearly tripping on my dress. "Eliza! Thank God someone I know! And someone who isn't a rival!" I said in a rush of air and words.

I smiled, she was so worried that it was gonna flunk. "Calm down it looks amazing! Everything does! Including you!" I said, "And as for my dress, my mom bought it using the galleons from the child support bills my dad is paying. Dunno where she got it though. I love the ribbons by the way! Its so pretty!!" I said, I nervously glanced around the room, it was a bit scary. "Do you think the others will show? It would be a shame if it was just me and a pretty Gryffindor like you here..." Ugh! What was I doing?! A pretty Gryffindor?! I sighed, my mind and heart raced. The crystal balls were amazing. Even the punch looked good! I grabbed Eliza's hand and brought her to the snack table with me, getting us both some punch and holding one out to her. "What flavor is the punch?" I asked, not that I didnt think she had poisoned it. I gave her a winning smile and took a sip. "Dont tell me! Its blue raspberry!" I shouted excitedly, I leaned against the table humming. Maybe another girlfriend wasn't a bad idea. I took a breath and set my cup down holding my hand out. "M-May I have th-this dance Miss Corrids?" I asked. My heart was racing. What if she said no?

Feeling amazing Candace walked out of her dorm confident and gorgeous, with her hair dyed for the occasion a vivid blue. Walking down the corridor SUPER uncomfortable as the boots, gloves, and hair were annoying. But still, pain is beauty! This will be amazing! If anyone shows up... Happy Time!"
And with that, she took off the heeled boots and skipped down the corridor to the ballroom.
at arrival before walking in she put her shoes back on fixed her hair and strutted into the ballroom. Looking around all she saw were two girls so she walked a bit closer and saw that she knew both only slightly. Natalie Mock someone she hates or used to... friendship in question. And Eliza Corrids, they had met when Candace went to tell her that her idea won and maybe one or two owls. Feeling that it would just be them for a while, Candace took her books BACK OFF and yeeted her boots across the room saying, " Oh I HATE those boots!!! Don't know why I was wearing them then... Natalie, You look... Uh nice... "
Both girls looked very awkward and nervous.
Candace gasped, " OooooOooooOoo! Natalie lurves Eliza!"
oh no... This might end not so good.

I shot a death glare at Candace as if saying, 'oh imma hurt you!' So I decided to play my lil game with her. "Miss Dykstra! Where is your date?" While dancing I easily slipped Eliza into a quick dip before easily lifting her into the air and spinning. Setting her down gently I let go of her hand and smiled at Candace. Her dress was stunning. "You look good Candace." Friend and foe was still pending between me and Candace, so we both had to tread lightly. "You came alone, don't feel bad, so did I until I ran into Liz." My lil pet name for her now. I smiled sweetly, the white part of my hair fell into my face, irritated with it, I blew it to the side and smiled again. Sitting down at a table, I pulled my heels off, the dress was heavy enough, but the heels HURT. I smiled knowing that Eliza probably had fun dancing with me. I looked at a stunned Candace. I went to fidget with my necklace. But I forgot it wasnt there because I took it off. I picked up my drink and took a sip then set it back down again.

I got up and smoothed my hair back a bit, the whit streak getting in my face again, just us three. Not much of a party huh? Most haven't even shown! I looked towards Candace, I decided to give Eliza a break, that dip was unexpected! ¨Candace! Wanna dance? I figured Id let Liz catch her breath, the dip I spun in was unexpected!¨ I said walking over. A smile on my face, I stood thee, bare-foot. I didn't give a frick. I knew that Candace had feelings for me, but I barely knew her, the only thing holding me back from commitment was Meredith. She kinda became my everything, someone to hold onto when my going got tough. I took a deep breath and looked at her, the lights reflecting on my glasses. I studied Candace's face, disappointment clear, along with a bit of.... Was that jealousy I saw in her eyes? My heart fluttered as I covered my mouth trying not to laugh, I never knew Gryffindors like her got jealous, but I was a Slytherin. Were the ties so different?? I wondered about Katie. She was my other crush. I was getting torn. AGAIN! I stood my ground watching Candace.
