Little Ed tried to keep a straight face, but he couldn't really help it. Inwardly, he was smirking in a very, villainous manner. Henry seemed easy to pick on. He was gullible and stupid enough to believe the lies Eden was sprouting from his mouth. Poor fellow had no knowledge about anything. But that was to be expected from such degenerate. From all mudbloods, really. This was just one of the many examples why they could never compare to the ability of a real wizard - and to be given the same level of education was just a slap in the face.

"I've heard the same thing," Eden's voice was full of actual interest regarding these commonly-gossiped secret passages. He always thought about exploring them, but his train of thought simply fizzled every time he realized he didn't have friends to do such a thing. But now he had Henry. Not a friend - something closely relevant to a minion, perhaps. Everything was going according to the witty plan Eden had come up with in a matter of minutes - seconds, even.

Until...

There was an interruption. A spooky one at first. If Eden had not bothered to turn around at the sudden booming of an angry, squeaky loud voice, he would have presumed that it was a restless ghost interfering with the boy's plans. Regardless of who it actually was - Eden still was scared enough to nearly lose his footing as he jumped up in utter shock. The white of his hair spiked up in sudden fear, but when he realized it was just a girl he chuckled it off awkwardly, his hands were no longer covering half of his pretty face - shielding him from any sort of attack.
"Who a-" he viciously squeaked, his voice cracking, "who do you think you're talking to?!" There was clear anger in his voice. There was no denying the fact that he sounded mad. He realized such level of impulsiveness himself and realized that it would be ideal to calm down, or rather, try to.

"And that language. The fierceness is admirable at best, but I wouldn't recommend yelling so loud. You wouldn't want a Professor to hear you, would you?" Now, he spoke in an infatuating manner. He wanted to fuel her anger more - whoever this girl was, seemed like she couldn't control her nerves.
"Henry," he then turned in extravagant fashion around, once again addressing the red-head with all the kindness in the world, "you don't happen to know this squealing little pig, do you? I genuinely have no idea what she's even talking about."

By now, the two boys would have already had the chance to start their little adventure. But because of this needless interference, his plans have been immediately delayed.
"She's not even worth our time. We should just go."

Tristan was in the mood for some Slytherin cunning and so here he was, walking towards the trophy room hoping for a gathering of people. This was all a mask of course, but a welcomed one. He wasn’t cruel but he was cold. He’d been too quiet these days, after all. Thus, Tristan had to keep up appearances and what else would fit that purpose perfectly than a game of manipulation. As he walked into the trophy room, he heard the rude language of a girl, and then a boy with a princely voice reply back to her. Now, Tristan hoped that the boy would be another Slytherin as that would be a wonderful Something about the meaning of a word. This would be exciting. He sauntered quietly in and said “Now what do we have here? There is no need to argue. My name is Tristan of the Noble and most Ancient of Theramin.”
This was of course said with his face perfectly schooled, worthy of the Slytherin he was. Maybe even as great as Salazar Slytherin’s.
He then noticed the other boy and couldn’t help but say,”Were you fighting over this boy?”
Edward wouldn’t be proud but….

Despite having been sorted into Ravenclaw, Henry was not the sharpest tool in the shed. Why he had been sorted into Ravenclaw was still a mystery to him, but this situation did not raise his awareness of his lack of wisdom. This boy, though he still hadn’t introduced himself, seemed relatively friendly, if a bit cold. He was offering good advice and had now offered to help Henry to find the secrets Hogwarts possessed. “We can find them together!” He exclaimed excitedly, glad to finally have someone to explore with. Exploring alone was, well, lonely.

Before anything else could be said, the sound of a door being thrown open startled Henry. He jumped a good distance into the air and whipped around toward the source of the sound. He was too distracted by the girl shouting at them to notice that the boy had been just as startled as he was. First, he was startled at her choice of words, second, he was startled at the ferocity with which she spoke. Henry hadn’t heard someone that angry before. Well, besides his mum, but that was different. He realized, after some delay from being startled, that her anger was directed at his new friend. Word? Was she talking about mudblood? What was going on?

Still shocked and a bit taken aback by the new development, Henry almost didn’t notice when the boy started to address him again. Squealing pig? “I-that’s-that’s not a very nice way to talk about her,” he offered hesitantly before glancing between the two of them. “I mean, er, no, I don’t know her, but that’s still not nice,” he added, now looking more at the boy than the girl. Everything about him was confusing. One second, he was being nice to Henry, the next he was being rude to this girl. Henry didn’t know what to think about his sudden shift in attitude.

“But…what’s she talking about?” He gestured to her as his new friend turned to leave, telling him she wasn’t worth their time. Everyone was worth time, Henry had been taught that if someone had something they wanted to say, he should listen. Before he got a chance to ask her what she meant, another boy showed up. He almost looked as if he could be related to the first boy, he even sounded kind of like him. “Fighting over…me?” He asked, pointing to himself. “I, er, I don’t think that’s what’s happening….Is it?” He asked, looking between the first boy and the girl. He was even more confused now than he was a second ago.

If the situation wasn't so awful, Juniper might have laughed at the startled expression on the silver-haired boy's face. He deserved a little spook after the little "prank" he pulled, she decided. For a second, she thought he might apologise and move on, but no, of course not - in her experience, purebloods like him never gave up so easily. The chuckle he emitted was a strange contrast to the vicious tone he continued in, and Juniper matched his angry stare with one of her own. So that's how it's going to be, huh? She could handle herself in a battle of wits. No, she could do better than handle. She could win. "I'd introduce myself, but you're far too dimwitted to remember it," Juniper replied viciously, American accent prominent. "And I don't need to know your name to understand who you are. No doubt that you're one of those stupid fucking pureblood elitists who think blood statuses are everything."

He seemed to be trying to collect himself, and the condescending tone that he switched to made Juniper's glare grow harder. It infuriated her. They were likely the same age, but he was speaking to her as if she were a mere toddler. She knew that getting angrier would only entertain him further, but she couldn't seem to regain control of herself. "Why, you repulsive little shit." Taking three quick steps towards the boy, she thrust out her arms and pushed him, hard, feeling an unexpected rush of satisfaction as he fell to the ground. "Maybe I do want someone to hear me," Juniper snapped. "Don't think for one second that I'm above tattletaling on you to a professor or a prefect."

Oh, wow, so now she was a pig as well, was she? A pig who wasn't worth his time. Those cutting words had a greater effect on her than she showed or cared to admit, and she scoffed disbelievingly, folding her arms across her chest and watching the redhead for his reaction. Surely the switching between different attitudes and personalities would come across as odd to him - he couldn't be that stupid, and if he was, well, God help him. The poor redhead looked extremely confused and came hesitantly to her defence, asking what she was talking about.

Juniper was about to explain when someone else waltzed in, spewing some nonsense about noble and ancient houses. A quick glance to the side confirmed that it was yet another boy, this one with icy blue-green eyes and blonde hair. Judging from his grandiose introduction, Juniper assumed that he was also a pureblood. She let out a loud sigh of frustration - luck was really not on her side today. "Stay out of it, will you?" she hissed through her teeth. "You don't know what he said." Juniper inclined her head towards the silver-haired boy on the 'he'. She would turn away from the newcomer to face the redhead once again, hoping that Tristan Theramin, as he had so proudly introduced himself, would take a hint and leave the room.

"No, we aren't fighting over you," Juniper responded to Henry's question with a sigh. Her tone was certainly weary, but she spoke loudly, just in case the silver haired boy decided to try and manipulate him again. "You really don't know what that - that word means?"

The only word that could cause this much anger was mudblood. He was pure blooded but he was adamantly in the belief that the word was an atrocity. Muggles were, in a way, more powerful than wizards and more innovative. Without them, all wizards would die out. It was pure racism and it was derogatory.
Schooling his voice and face, he said,”one of you said mudblood then? Tell me please. I apologize on the perpetrator’s behalf of course. That is an atrocious word that should not be spoken of. And tmiss, do not lump me as a bigot just because of my introduction. Take me for who I am not what I call myself.
Looking then to the other boy that was the only possible person to have said the word, “You are too proud of yourself my dear person to have used that word manipulating that poor boy.” As he said this Tristan walked towards the boy then whispered in his ear so no one else could hear. “You should have gone slow… now you’re caught. Come meet me later in the Great Hall.”
Tristan then slowly went over to the boy who had been called mudblood and said to him, “I am sorry to say that mudblood is a derogatory term referring to your muggleborn status. Almost similar to a mutt. I am quite sorry” Tristan said this even though he didn’t actually mean it with the most genuine sounding sincerity. Tristan then went in to hug the boy.

Eden didn't appreciate Henry's interference with the way he spoke either. Every time it felt as if every single word that left the white-haired boy's mouth was wrong. He could have literally been the most innocent person in the room and would still get the blame. He turned his head and set his eyes on Henry - there was some sort of fury in them that made them water in anger and annoyance.
"So it's perfectly fine for her to barge in and yell at me but it's not fine if I call her a pig? That's mercy compared to the language she's using!" His voice cracked again, and there was a certain essence of disappointment in the way he addressed the red-head as if he had known Henry from the day they were born and been friends ever since - and now broke their friendship. Eden felt as if someone had backstabbed him.

Why did he always become the villain of every dynamic?

Not even a few moments later and another student walked in on the scene. Fair-haired and blue-eyed - for a second Little Ed thought he was looking at a mirror. He looked nearly just as handsome. But enough admiration, there was an argument to win.
"Why don't we just invite the entirety of the school to join us in this exhibition, yes?" Eden said in a sarcastic manner, reasoning with his hands as he then proceeded to blow a string of his hair away from his sight.

But then Eden felt a wave of strength overpowering every inch of his body, an unkind push that forced him to take a seat on the floor. His tailbone hitting first, feeling his backbone nearly snapping and his hip uncomfortably hurting. A groan escaped his mouth as he was not only in pain but also shock from the sudden impact. His eyes watered and now, it became visible enough for the people around him to witness his pitiful nature. But he was also angry. There was a fire deep inside him, and people were damn well aware of it - but instead of putting it away, they added more fuel to it. And then he was expected to act kind? Pathetic.

He stood back up after a moment to get back to reality - the bump had made him unconscious of how long he actually remained seated. But eventually stood up once again. His left hand clenched in the shape of a fist, as his nails dug into the skin of his own palm. His right made its way for his wand, but the second he grabbed hold of its handle, he stopped and froze. His wavy hair swayed from one side to another as he looked up and coldly stared at the eyes of the girl who pushed him. "You'll regret that. Believe me, you will."

Without wasting any more of his time, Eden left the scene like a coward to the fools who dared anger him. But he had a plan, and in his head, he was not a craven, but wise.

There was so much happening at once, Henry was having a hard time keeping track. The girl who burst in was now yelling insults at the first boy, though Henry still didn’t know why. Now the first boy was attacking him? “What? No, I mean. She is being kind of rude, I guess, but calling her a pig is rude, too.” He weakly tried to defend himself, at mercy to the scene unfolding before him. When the other boy joined them, Henry felt even more confused. He watched the argument unfold until, without warning, the girl pushed the first boy down.

“Wait! Stop! There’s no reason to push someone,” he said, stepping forward, hoping to offer a hand up for the first boy. The girl mentioned how she would tell a professor or a prefect about all of this, but Henry wondered about her pushing the boy. Wouldn’t she still get into trouble over that? Physical altercations were still grounds for punishment at Hogwarts, right? They definitely were at his primary school. Anyone who pushed or hit someone was immediately reprimanded, even if the person who got pushed or hit said something to provoke them.

Before he could help the first boy up, he stood on his own. “A-are you okay?” Henry asked, but didn’t receive an answer. Going to…pay? Did that include him? He watched the first boy go before turning to the other two. “I-I…no, I don’t.” He responded, lost about the whole situation. When the other boy explained what it meant, he crinkled his brow in confusion. “Why does everything about a wizard’s blood status relate back to dog breeding?” He asked rhetorically. The first boy had been talking about wizards like breeding dogs and now there was a word that meant the equivalent of mutt? Henry wasn’t so much offended, not having grown up with the term, as he was more confused.
