Did I Seriously Lose It Again?
Backdated to September 1st.@Melissa LandOf course, being the clumsy person Everly was, she'd lost her copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. Everly's eyes widened, she began to ruffle through her trunk trying to find her book. Her trunk stared back up at her, as if mocking, because guess what?! The book was gone!!!! Poof. Like magic. Welp.
Everly inwardly groaned, locking the trunk shut before pulling it behind her down the aisle, hurriedly opening compartment doors and peeking her head in. Each time she did so she asked the same question, over and over again. "Have you seen my copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them? I've lost it, I can't find it - it has my name on the inside of the cover." And each time Everly did so, she was given the same response.
"Nope."
"Haven't seen it."
"Dunno, it's not in here."
And possibly the least helpful:
"What's Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them?"
Everly groaned, shutting yet another compartment door. The train was about to start moving, yet she STILL couldn't find that book. Her pace began to quicken, she needed to find that book and get back to the safety of her empty compartment before the train started moving. She opened the compartment door, poked her head in. "Have you seen my copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them? It has my name on the inside of the cover."
Everly really needed to stop losing things.

amara-amara-amara-amara-amaraAs Melissa was just putting her bags above her head she noticed a greened eyed figure in the doorway. She was looking for a book and seemed to be quit stressed about it. Melissa stood up and said to the girl'I think I saw it up hear when I came in.'Melissa reaached up to wear she had placed her bag and pulled out a book. A book by the name of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them.
'I think this is it.'Melissa said whilst handing it to the girl.'I do wonder how it got there'She said giving out a little laugh. But just at that moment the train started to move. Melissa coludn't let the girl walk back when it was moving.'You can sit here if you want?'She said whilst giving out a nice smile to the girl. Melissa pointed to the seat opposite to her. Melissa wouldn't normally do this to people she'd just met but she wanted to make a good impression before getting to Hogwarts. Melissa sat down and stopped smiling and stared out of the window waiting for the girl to respond to Melissa.

@Melissa LandEverly breathed a sigh of relief, her hand reaching out to quickly grasp the book and tuck it safely in her trunk. Hopefully she'd manage to keep a closer rein on her items so she wouldn't lose them in the future - though that was doubtful, to be honest.
She let out a small laugh, plopping down on the seat, her muscles beginning to relax from their tensed position. "Thanks," she replied quickly, unsure what to say. Though she should probably make her way back to the compartment, she didn't feel like wheeling her trunk back there, so she decided to stay in the compartment, staring out the window and the grassy hills as the train began to pull out London and into the countryside.
"What's your name?" Everly asked, trying to maintain friendly chitchat. "Are you excited for Hogwarts? I know I sure am, I've been looking forward to this for ages." She let a small smile sit on her face, brushing a lock of chocolate brown hair out of her face. Normally, Everly wasn't one to start up a conversation, but she figured it'd be nice to have some friends at Hogwarts either way.

'Im Melissa, Melissa Land and you are?' She said with her eyes turning towards the girl. Melissa scanned the girl up and down to try and get the feel for the girl. The girl seemed as if she was very excited for Hogwarts but who wouldn't be its a brand new experience to engage in new lesson's and meet new people that could stay with you for ever.
'Im quit excited, I think it's just such a good opportunity ' Melissa replied with a smile appearing on her face. Melissa reached into her trunk to get one of her spear book's, she could tell the girl liked reading due to the relief on her face when Melissa found it. So why not give her another one. ' Which one do you want I've got Alice in wonderland, Treasure island and Romeo and Juliet. Melissa placed the book's in front of her for the girl to see.
A curious look sprouted on her face whilst waiting for the girl to choose. She looked out the window then back at the girl. She smiled and let out a sigh of relief as she realized she was actually going to hogwarts.

@Melissa LandShifting slightly to adjust her position as the train hit a particularly rough part, it took a moment for the words to sink in. "My name's Everly," She responded with a hopeful smile. "Everly Charlton. I'm really sorry about the whole losing-the-book-thing, by the way, my siblings like to steal my stuff all the time," she joked offhandedly, smiling faintly at the mention of her family. "Do you have any siblings? I've got three, it's a bit of a handful with all four of us in a house." She let out a soft chuckle and leaned back in her seat, cautiously flipping through the pages of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
"This is all so exciting, isn't it?" Everly leaned forward eagerly, her eyes sparkling. "Which house do you think you'll be sorted in? I honestly don't know myself. Maybe Ravenclaw?" She mused, leaning back to gaze out the window in her thoughts.
The girl's gaze turned towards the books that Melissa had offered. "Alice in Wonderland! I've read that quite a bit times, it's a Muggle classic... ooh, Treasure Island, I've heard of it before, I've never read it before though..." Trailing off, she reached for the book, flipping through the pages curiously.
