Chapter one
The Outside looks InGiabelle Stranger wasstranger than you knew. That didn't matter to her or her family, actually. Each one was strange. Her great aunt Heather; she had a huge lump on her neck. Uncle tommy; had an extra pinky on each foot and hand. And her mother; well, she was just tipsy, with a strange blob of hair. Giabelle though was picture perfect. Each thing, from her nose to her toes, was just right. No extra growths, no strange abilities, nothing. Except, for her voice and personality.
If you've met Giabelle, you'd know she licks things. No, not likes, licks. She will lick each and every thing she sees. At the beach she licks the sand, she licks the shells, and she licks the beach balls. At school, she'll lick the monkey bars, other students shoes, and worst of all, the water fountains. Despite her gross behavior, she was quite kind. She would ask to lick your Beach ball, your shoe and would wait patiently in line to lick the water fountain. So, in ways, she wasn't completely bad.
Trying to blend in wasa struggle for her family. One of them always forgot their pants, or didn't bring the car, but brought the keys, or better yet, forgot a child at the mall. So, basically its just any thing possible of going wrong that you can think of. The worst part about that was they were very public people. They went to town, visited people, and would act out plays and sing in the park. And for them, today would be no exception. They'd have to brace themselves for the worst flop yet, which would be a struggle, considering they had things happen to them often. And Friday the 13th would be when the conundrum that would change them forever occurred.

Introduction cnt.; Character, Scene, Date/Time, PlotGiabelle was fine with this. She didn't hate it, nor love it, she mainly just, coped with it. She liked being weird. There was nothing wrong with being weird. She sat quietly in her room, staring up at the ceiling. She was calm, content, happy~ BAMM. She sighed.
"JUST MAKING BREAKFAST HONEY!!" Her father screamed from downstairs. He was strange, because he had no toenails.
"Alright!" She squeaked, jumping up and running downstairs. There was flour on the ceiling, counters, and all over her 4 year old sister. Her grandpa, asleep on the couch, snored, making the dishes rattle. She rolled her eyes, and licked the flour off her sister's arm. Her sister giggled. "So what is it today, dad?" She asked, sniffing the flour and sneezing.
"Today~ Its saffron avocado waffles with a chicken raspberry sauce!" He said, waiving a spatula around. Giabelle nodded, and skipped over to the Calendar, crossing off Friday the 13th.
"So~ What we doing today?" She smiled, sitting ontop of her grandfather, as her mother and grandmother shouted at each other, walking down the stairs.
"Oh brother~" Her grandpa groaned, sitting up and pushing Giabelle to the other side of the couch. Her father looked up.
"What about... we..... Ha! Time for our weekly Shakespeare in the park!" He smiled, Giabelle clapping. Her mother and grandmother looked at her father.
"Sounds fine~" They both said, glaring at each other. "But does she have to come~" They synced, looking at her father.
He smiled, flipping a waffle and spinning around to them. "It's a family activity~" He hummed. "You must!" He twirled back over to the kitchen, flipping the waffle back over.
"He's got a point," Giabelle chuckled, munching on a half a piece of a destroyed waffle. Her grandma and mother flinched, looking at her as she walked back over to the couch.
"Fine~" Her mother sighed, sitting down at the table as her father set out plates covered in a black, powdery chunk of waffle.
"DIG IN!!!" He sang, handing them all a fork, as they nibbled the pieces.
