Why are you interested in Frog Choir?:
IC: After the abandonment of her other clubs, Xailah was put back right where she had started off: confused and without purpose. Though she is reluctant to admit it, she strives to find her purpose in life, appreciation, and a safe place where she can put her talents to use. The frog choir seemed to be as good of a place as any to do just that. As a child, Xailahs parents had tried to introduce her to all sorts of musical artforms. She resented being forced into many of them, however some grew on her. Over time she would develop a love for song- as any little girl would- however, like many other things, it would be kept to herself. Course sometimes she would indulge in a small lullaby with Schrödinger before he retired to sleep. She is not shy about her talent, she just see's it as one that shouldn't be shared with the world. But if asked, she will sing. She also has some skills outside of singing, that she hopes can be applied to the choir- she is something of a seamstress, and has no issue in caring for "icky" creatures (therefore she may have more interest in being a handler, than a singer, but it could go either way). Hopefully she can make some use of herself here.

I'm working on revitalizing the choir! I've just sent out twenty-something owls inviting current + potential members to our shiny new discord server. Because this channel is for members only, I won't be sharing a public invite link. I'll be sending this to all future applicants.

Now that the holidays are out of the way, I'll soon be hosting a new audition thread! I can't say exactly when this will be other than "soon". Rome wasn't built in a day, also I am in and out of fits of extensive laziness. On that note...

I'll soon be looking to take on a vice pres! This must be a member of Frog Choir. The job will involve fun and exciting things, such as smacking me when I slack off on events for too long and helping manage the channel/group. I'll be doing the auditions first to bring in more members. After the auditions, more info will come out on applications.

As always, owl or discord me if you're no longer interested in being a member, otherwise I'll ping you for eternity!

These are open to anyone intending to become a member! No event crashers please, and do your best to keep fires to a minimum. Attendance is optional, those already on the member list don't have to come, but are free to stop in and sing anyways as we're in a "soft reset" state. After this next audition, we'll be working on frog handling meets, group practices, and vice pres auditions.

I'll continue to make announcements here, but the Discord is where we're hashing out all alterations, sharing future plans, reworking the structure of the club, and sharing sweet sweet frog memes.

Why are you interested in Frog Choir?
Karlina grew up surrounded by music. Her mother was an accomplished pianist before her unfortunate death, and Karlina always loved the way she played. Even after her mother's passing, Karlina's love and knowledge of music has stuck with her and is often what she turns to for comfort. In Hogwarts, there aren't many opportunities for her to practice music as regularly as she used to, so she jumped at the chance to join the choir, even if she doesn't have that much experience singing in one.

[font=Lucida Handwriting] You and I both know it. There is something special about frogs. They have big eyes and funny mouths, but that isn't all. Look at their funky arms. The way they're all lumpy when they sit, and they're looking around like... don't mess with me. You know what I mean.

Well hold your horses, because I just met a new frog recently. Maybe you've seen her, she's my frog. HAND-PICKED for her absolute irrefutable excellence in every facet. Go-get-it-ness. Epic speed. Chill vibe. I'm hoping her presence in the choir will inspire the other frogs and toads to see the best in themselves as well, and grow together as a family through the power of music.

She needs friends, she is new to Hogwarts, you see. Also, she's so good at everything she is probably also good at singing. Can I leave her undoubtedly lucrative singing career in your collective hands? I have the highest of hopes.

Not usually one to be well aware of things going on in the lives of the students, there was an advertisement that caught his eye. Namely the word 'frog' on it was an instant draw, only to find that a frog choir was holding auditions. He hadn't been a member in the past, and only vaguely remembered enjoying a concert or two. It was a wonderful way for Fromage to break into the scene, even though he had never considered she had been destined for stardom when he got her. life follows mysterious paths, and it wasn't his place to question it.

With that, he took Fromage with him to the club room for one of their auditions. Naturally he wouldn't be a member himself, he wasn't a singer. Still, there had to be at least one kid who needed a frog. As long as they were nice to her, they might just find themselves hand-in-webbed-foot with the future voice of a nation. How could he deny someone of that kind of honor? Well, he wouldn't, and he'd stick around to help if he was needed of course. That was exactly the kind of wholesome activity kids their ages should be participating in. And if he got a world famous frog from it, it was meant to be.

Why are you interested in Frog Choir?
Music has always been a part of Serena's life. Her Aunt Elizabeth has been giving her piano lessons since she was five-years-old. Serena also enjoys singing and is relatively decent at it. She's never sung in a choir before but would like to try something new. Plus, she thinks the frogs are adorable.

Why are you interested in Frog Choir?
Taylor had always been happiest when singing but when her mother passed away, her father made it a rule that she couldn't. Now that she is here and away from his strictness, she hope to find friends that enjoy singing just as much as she does and hopes to expand her ability to sing well.
