The nights sky
Eclipse loved looking up at the stars.
Back at home her parents got her a telescope for her so she could learn more about the constalations.
Eclipse also loved looking up at the sky and looking back over her thoughts.
On this particular night though she was wondering why she got put in Hufflepuff and not Ravenclaw.
Not that there is anything wrong with being in Hufflepuff her father was actually a Hufflepuff and a proud one too.
Its just that she has always been the smart one in her family even though she is friendly even one calls her the Almighty smart one or something.
As Eclipse was thinking about this she was struck with an idea.
Maybe she wasnt put in Ravenclaw beacuse she wouldnt make any friends and maybe you just cant have all the smart people in one house cause they would all get agead of themselves and think to highly.
“I guess youcant have all the Ravenclaws in the same house!” Whispered Eclipse.
Eclipse was thinking more and more into this when she heard a voice “hello I just love looking at the stars dont you?”
Maybe Eclipse is just more friendly than she thought.

"Astronomy is a fun thing isn't it. I know a lot about the stars. Most of it I taught myself." He looked at the girl he had heard what she said about not having all the Ravenclaws in one house, so he was going to assume she was expecting to be sorted into Ravenclaw but that didn't happen. He knew the disappointment she was feeling it happened to him. He wasn't expecting to be sorted into Slytherin. He had even wrote to the headmaster about it. However after having been in Slytherin for awhile now he was actually really glad that he was sorted into that house. As a matter of fact now he really couldn't see himself as a Gryffindor, which is where he thought he would be sorted into. He might not fit the bill of what people think a Slytherin should be but he was for sure a Slytherin.
"I take it you like stargazing huh. Me to. I know quite a few constellations but I won't bore you pointing them out." He smiled at her. She looked like she could use some cheering up and Kyden just liked to be the type of person that people knew they could count on no matter what. "Although I will say Cygnus is one of my favorite's not many people seem to remember that one." He walked over and at sat beside her. " I guess I forgot to introduce myself. I am Kyden."

Eclipse was startled she didn’t realise someone else was here.
“Oh...Um... Hi sorry I didn’t see you their!” Eclipse exclaimed. “Did you hear everything... I said?” Eclipse asked. Eclipse was frightened she didn’t realize there was anyone else in the astronomy tower. He must have been sitting is a dark corner where she couldnt see. “Your right by the way Kyden, I don't remember that constellation... Cygnus.” Eclipse said. She was wondering if she may be making a new friend because she doesn’t have many friends.
“Well I guess I should head back to my sleeping quarters it’s getting late....” Eclipse said “Maybe we... could meet here again soon... or I will see you around..?” Eclipse asked hopefully he would say yes and then she could have a new person she could call a friend. Just at that particular moment in time a strong wind started blowing sending Eclipse’s hair whipping round her face and sending a small bird flying into the wall. “Wow this wind is strong” exclaimed Eclipse trying to tie up her hair, once she got it under control she ran over to the little bird to see if it’s ok. “Oh you poor thing your hurt here let me help you” Eclipse said before turing back to Kyden and saying “Oh I’m sorry I just realized I didn’t tell you my name is Rivers Eclipse Rivers”
