Hey Bookworm!
Sorry for taking so long to respond to your last letter. Writing everything via quill is a lot harder than I remember it being.
Regardless, congratz on becoming prefect! Your mother, and I were shocked to hear that's for sure. I tried to become one, but sadly my upperclassmen took the position instead of me. The fact that you got it as a first year is amazing!
That also aside, good job keeping up with schoolwork, and such. Not much going on here aside from house hunting. Keep up the good work, and don't let the stress get to ya!

Reed looked over the letter and smiled, glad to finally get a response after a week of waiting. He quickly grabbed his lucky blue quill and some parchment and started writing.
Letter sent
Dear Dad,
Thanks for the support! I'll do my best on schoolwork, and try to make you, and mom proud. I've already started to like potions class a lot, and charms also went rather well. Our professor made his pet spider huuuuuge and it would have eaten us if we weren't careful! I still need to write my homework for the class, but I'll get to it after this letter.
I also made some new friends! There's a gryffindor girl names Eris who snuck out with me to drink butterbeer in hogsmeade. She was a lot of fun to hang out with! There was another Gryffindor girl names Krez who made a snowman with me. She was uhm....quiet, and kinda spooky, but I think we're friends now.
Then there's another friend named Lucette. We met and had a tea party! She's really shy, and almost cried a couple times, but I'll wanna meet with her again soon.
