'Happy' place Closed

People always have a happy place. Somewhere to go to when you are feeling down. Surprisingly Ebony didn't have a happy place. She had places to go when people were bullying her or places to go where she could cry in private but those places weren't necessarily happy, were they? The abandoned toilets weren't a really great place to be but beggars can't be choosers. And again it wasn't really a happy place. More like a place where no one would bother her and she could be alone. So when she went into the abandoned toilets she slightly winced. It wasn't that bad it just...needed some fixing. Ebony wondered if she could fix it. Would she get in trouble for it?  She didn't think so but she had to make sure. After awhile Ebony frequently returned to the abandoned toilets and fixed it. Not any big construction but just cleaning it here and there. Today, however, Ebony decided to take a break and just enjoy the peace and silent. And she started to sing. One of the few things she liked about herself was that she had a decent singing voice. So that's what she was doing when someone ran into the room and slammed the door shut.

Makena walked inside the girls abandoned toilet and accidentally slammed the door, she often went into the abandoned toilets as she found it as her "happy" place as it was quiet and she could get things done. Makena had many "happy" places if thats what you could call them these included walking around Hogsmeade, or playing on the quidditch pitch or reading along with many other things. When Makena arrived she heard a girl singing she wasn't sure if it was a student or Moaning Myrtle so she called out and said "Hello is anybody there?" and waited for an answer.

Ebony flinched when the girl asked If anyone was there. Could she get away from this somehow? No the girl was blocking the door and to make a run for it would make her look like a chicken.Ebony didn't know if she should be mad that this girl interrupted her singing or if she should be embarrassed that the girl heard her singing. Ebony decided to do both. She slipped of the sink she was perched on and went to the darkest corner of the room so the girl could only see her figure. She liked being in the shadows. It gave her a sense of power. Ebony grinned with her sharp teeth, she could bring the chesure cat to shame. "Yes, someone is here. And this person is alive." Ebony said, a teasing tone in her voice. If was fun to say that and startle the girl. Just give her a good scare and laugh about if for a day or too wasn't wrong. The girl probably won't even stick around much longer anyway. The girl sounded slightly afraid and that made Ebony grin wider. The crossed her hands over her chest as she waited for the girl to answer.

As Makena waited for a reply she saw a figure in the shadows grinning showing her sharp teeth which kind of startled her at first.
"Yes, someone is here. And this person is alive."
Said the shadowy figure Makena couldn't quite figure out who or what was in the shadows and that scared her a little and she found what they said to be a bit disturbing to her but she stayed confident even though it might not of looked like it.


"Okay now I know that wasn't Myrtle so who are you and why are you in the shadows?" said Makena trying to be as confident as she can. "Was it you who was singing ? If it was your very good you don't have to be scared of me I'm a student like you" at least she hoped it was another student just playing a trick on her. 
"Well even though you might be a little scary I'm staying here to study you can join me but I'm not leaving I like this place its nice and quite, I don't bite" As she waited for a reply she sat on the cold floor of the girls abandoned toilets set down her bag and pulled out a notepad and quill.

Ebony was almost offended. Me? Scared of her? Hah, no way. But she decided to forgive the girl for saying her singing was good. That was a plus. But another downside was the girl wanted to study. This place was to relax, not to worry about studying. And of course that girl ' doesn't bite,' she looks like she wouldn't harm a fly. Ebony cackled. Not in a evil, ugly way. More like I a beautiful evil queen way. "Ok little girl, but don't say I didn't warn you. I'm going to be singing and practicing spells. Oh, and RAISING THE DEAD! Hah, yoir face is priceless. Just kidding about that last part. As to answering your questions. I'm in the shadows because I like being in them. Yes I was the one singing, if you didn't know that already."-Ebony gave a bow- " Oh, and my name is Miss None-of-your-business. Hah. I'm hilarious." Ebony said, and stepped a little bit closer the the girl. It wasn't enough for the girl to see her features but it was enough so she could she Ebony a little bit better. Ebony liked it this way. If nobody saw Ebony. Nobody would make fun of her.

Makena looked back into the shadows as she heard the person in the shadows cackle.
"Ok little girl, but don't say I didn't warn you."
"Don't 'little girl' me you don't know me or what I'm capable of" said Makena getting slightly annoyed that the person in the shadows was doubting her even though she hasn't even met her.

"I'm going to be singing and practicing spells. Oh, and RAISING THE DEAD!"
When she said this Makena's eyes widened she wasn't expecting the person in the shadows to say that but she knew it was all a plan to scare her.

"Hah, your face is priceless. Just kidding about that last part. As to answering your questions. I'm in the shadows because I like being in them. Yes I was the one singing, if you didn't know that already."
Makena rolled her eyes at the shadow not sure if the person in the shadows could see her. Makena thought what person likes being in the shadows. She was looking over at the shadows when the person in them took a bow.
"Oh, and my name is Miss None-of-your-business. Hah. I'm hilarious."
"Ha ha ha" said Makena sarcastically "I'm dying of laughter Ha  Ha I just can't contain myself" said Makena sarcastically and with a straight face. The girl in the shadows stepped forward a bit but not enough so Makena could see her. "I don't get it what are you afraid of, you must be afraid of something since you hide out here in the toilets." said Makena curiously. Makena then put her book down and stood up "You can try and be as scary as yo want but I'm not going so you come out here with me or you can hide out in the shadows alone but either way I'm not leaving.

When the little girl called on her bluff and said she was scared Ebony visibly flinched. Even.thr darkness couldn't hide that. But never less Ebony put on a poker face and hoped the girl didn't see her reaction. Truth be told she was scared. Scared of people bulling her because of her deathly pale skin, pitch black hair, and eyes that seem to glow. In she shadows, where nobody could see her, was her true happy place. Ebony calmed herself down enough to speak. "Ok, you drive a hard bargain, but let's compromise. I'll still bug you but I'll also still stay in the shadows. Hah,perfect deal ever.... little girl." Ebony ended the statement with a laugh. Ebony started to like this little girl nickname. "Oh, and from now on I'll call you little girl and you can call me it. How about that? Also you have some type of guts to still be here. Hmm. I admire that, pipsqueak. I mean I could be some evil witch yet you are still here." Ebony said. Ebony was getting bored of just standing there so she crouched down on her fours. It was kinda weird but whatever. Ebony wanted to do it.

The person in the shadows visibly flinched and even the darkness couldn't hide that. When Makena saw the person in the shadows finch she felt bad for them but she didn't want the person in the shadows to be afraid she just wanted them to feel comfortable talking to her. 
"Ok, you drive a hard bargain, but let's compromise. I'll still bug you but I'll also still stay in the shadows. Hah perfect deal ever.... little girl."
"Okay sounds fair if you want to stay in the shadows fine and you can still 'bug me' if you want"

"... Oh and I'm not little" She said with a smile and little giggle 
"Oh, and from now on I'll call you little girl and you can call me it. How about that? Also you have some type of guts to still be here. Hmm. I admire that, pipsqueak. I mean I could be some evil witch yet you are still here."
Makena thought about what she had said and decided to agree. "Fine if it will keep you talking with me you can call me little girl. Oh Haha thanks shadow girl. I know i have guts"said Makena putting both hands on her hips looking confident but then she puts her hands back down to her side and giggles. "... but I don't see you as evil just maybe a bit shy."

The girl in the shadows then crouched down on her fours. It was kinda weird but whatever if she wanted to do it fine maybe its comfortable.

"Im not shy. I'm tormented." Is what Ebony said on her not being evil. It was true though. Ebony was not evil at all. She just had her bad days and her goid days. Then again this wasn't necessary a bad day, today she just wanted to annoy someone. That didnt make her evil at all. She also liked the nickname shadow girl, it wasn't half bad. Now, where were we.. Ebony decided if she was going to talk to this girl there was going to be no studying envolved so she pointed her wand at the girls bag, which was full of work, and with a spell the bag plopped in Ebonys hands. She rifled through the bag and pulled out all the work, such as assignments and papers. She tossed the girl back her bag but kept the assignments. Ebony then shrunk the papers with another spell and tucked them into her pocket. Ebony inched closer to the girl, just to taunt her about Ebony stealing her stuff. It was fun. Ebony made sure she wasn't too close though. Now the girl could see Ebony's uniform but not necessarily her features. Ebony waited to see the girls reaction to her stealing her stuff.

Makena could slightly see the girl in the shadows she pointed her wand at Makena's bag, which was full of work, and with a spell the bag plopped into the girl in the shadows hands. The girl in the shadows then rifled through the bag and pulled out all the work, such as assignments and papers. The girl in the shadows then tossed Makena back her bag but kept the assignments. The girl in the shadows then shrunk the papers with another spell and tucked them into her pocket. "Hey what are you doing give those back." said Makena surprised by what the girl did. Makena was going to cast a spell to get them back but she thought about it and she decided to do something else. As she was thinking you could see the concentration in her face. "Okay shadow girl you can keep my assignments, work and papers until I leave. I get it no work." She said with a smile on her face. The girl in the shadows inched closer to Makena, just to taunt her about stealing her stuff. The girl in the shadows made sure she wasn't too close though. Now Makena could see The girl in the shadows uniform but not necessarily her features. Makena looked closely at the girls robes studying them "I think that's a bit yellow are you in Hufflepuff?" said Makena curiously.
