Arjan rolled his eyes and smirked as the little kid [@Henry Knight's iNPC, Charles] scurried off, clearly knowing he had tried to start a fight that he had zero chance of winning. It was honestly laughable, how pathetic his excuse was. Arjan being afraid of the headmistress was the boy's excuse. Clearly the boy didn't have the guts to just admit that he was afraid of what Arjan's fist could do. Typical. Little boys who thought they were better than those clearly far more capable than them. His lack of respect was hilarious and Arjan could not wait for the day that he could sock him straight in that gob of his. For now, he just watched the shorter kid hurry off.
Minding his own business, the fifth year looked around. This was the first time he had actually seen the school that he had heard so much about. His attention was caught by a few raised voices, about giants and goblins and monsters [@Flash Holmwood's iNPC, Yefim]. Ugh. That boy was right. This school had far too many non-purebloods and it was certainly what made them weaker in his not so humble opinion.
What caught his attention though was the glorious fight starting there, though. The girl [@Erin Ryan] - who he could not help but note was pretty - did not attempt to dodge the fist coming at her face. A look of mild shock appeared on Arjan's expression as he watched. She took it like a complete and utter champ, to say the least. He was... impressed. There was a smile on her face. Damn... She was amazing. Was it weird that he was suddenly far more interested in this person who just took the attack without hesitation and retaliated? Beautiful, brave and strong? Damn. Ignoring the rest of the people around and the fight was commencing, he just watched this girl out of interest. He could not deny that he was curious.
He turned on his heels and wandered over to the group. He had no intention of fighting, he was just curious to find out who this girl was and to see if she was as strong and bold as she seemed to be. Unfortunately, since he was a little far away, it would take him a while to approach.
OOC: @Aida Mòrsgor-Ama Ellwood - just so you know, broom stats don't count unless you're flying the broom. Since it's a Nat 20, I imagine it would hit anyway though but yeah, just for future reference.

She barely felt anything as she took the albino's love tap. She would turn her head and look at the source of the assault and furrow her brow. "Did you hit me?" She shifted her jaw laterally and mouthed to herself ...huh. The Niffler had the power of an anemic pygmypuff.
These two were not going to serve as resources in her war against giants. What a shame. Too boisterous, too difficult to understand. It is as if they don't speak English wherever they are from. Gawd. "Avoid the giants and... the smaller giants," made more sense than midget. "As well as death witches," she grumbled as she turned away.
They were likely going to be among the first to die, a horror trope where the comic relief dies early in the horror. A shame, they might have been entertaining. She would see another Durmstrang student approach and she would shake her head. They all look pretty, but she already had a 100% rate of weirdness with this first duo. A respectable sample size for a madwoman really to generalize her experience from. She let out an exhale, "save yourself a painful greeting regardless of your customs." She warned Arjan, no wonder they met one another with such violence, they had no brawn behind their fists. "You all will have enough to contend with here," she claimed.
If Yefim was unconscious in the water, she would drag him to shore by his foot until his head was free of the water. If she had missed him and he was in one piece she would mentally acknowledge his evasive nature. Regardless, she had no reason to kill the strange foreigners.

As the horn sounded their arrival, Milena made her way to join the other Durmstrang students crowding the deck of the ship waiting to disembark. After a quick last glance downward to ensure her Durmstrang uniform was fitting perfectly, no crinkles or anything marring the presentation they had to uphold, she stepped through the doorway out onto the deck and took in the sight that greeted her.
Hogwarts.
So this was what Hogwarts looked like. It looked... pretty. Milena had not exactly been curious about the other Wizarding school or rather, it had been mere idle curiosity, not really something to act upon. She'd felt no particular draw to visit another school but it was also an opportunity that could not be passed out on. Her parents had strongly implied that at least one of them would have to attend this excursion, to represent their family, and since only one of them had to go the choice was obvious. It was not a choice at all: the lone sibling.
Alright, that made it sound worse than it actually was, even in her head. It wasn't that she had been reluctant to go – besides, Alisa was attending this trip too – but it was still a foregone conclusion that she would be the sibling to go. “сначала корабль, теперь лодка...”1, she would quietly mutter to herself before once again donning her unflappable and polite facade.
Choosing one of the boats at random, she would make her way over and primly sit down.

Charles then looked for another boat, possibly one with someone to mess with and at first he thought about one with the boy, Arjan Oberoi @Serena Towers, but then got second thoughts as much as he wanted to punch the guy in the nose he also wasn't stupid enough to start a fight with someone that can do much worse so he stepped into the first boat he saw and decided for once not to say anything or do anything stupid.
Charles looked around the castle as the boat set rode across the waves, he couldn't stop himself from thinking that this place was suppose to be his school. That he should be attending Hogwarts, he didn't want and frankly he didn't even want to attend Dumstrang.
Charles saw bot had there good and bad which one was the better of the two through? Charles figured Hogwarts only because for a fee weeks he got to have a new start, a place where no one knew him and a place where he could mess with anyone he pleases. Yes that second one was pretty bad but it's not like he didn't know that and it's not like he did it offended to others who weren't from Dumstrang, Charles turned his head back toward the ship and was glad to finally be away from the others as he muttered to himself " free at last."
Charles looked saw and another in the boat with him, a girl who looks to be around 14 or 15 with dirty blonde hair and hazel eyes. Someone whom he passed in Dumstrang just never talked to, he never talked to anyone actually at the school and was more than likely out flying on his broom when he could or couldn't. Charles first thought was to mess or insult her but seeing no one else whom he previously met on the boat he decided to play friendly with her at least for the time being that is.
Charles gave the girl a half smile along with a head nod before looking back at the ice, thinking of that game again and trying to figure out what it was or what may it so appealing to the others. Charles then looked back toward the castle as he spoke mostly to himself but also to the girl " not what I was expecting,"

The fifth year approached the fight... well... the beautiful blonde girl, since he did not really care about the others. He was met with a warning, as she shook her head at him. Before he even had a chance to introduce himself or get her name, she made it clear to end the conversation. What an utter shame. He sighed irritably, as though he missed out on the opportunity of a lifetime. But no matter, she studied here - right? At the very least, he did not recognise the girl as anyone who had been on the Durmstrang ship. That just meant he would have to find her in this massive castle and figure out who she was. Where to start, though?
Arjan ran his hand through his hair as he pondered, what a shame. His hazel brown eyes snapped to the others that had caused the fight, "Did either of you two at least catch her name?" He snapped at them, having absolutely no hope that they did. In fairness, he was definitely the type to throw his fists around first and ask questions later so he would not be surprised if they were too. But still! They were fools! Absolutely moronic! They should have, at the very least, gotten the beautiful girl's name. Perhaps they did. He really hoped they did and he did hope that they gave it to him. He was curious. It would make his search a lot easier.
Regardless of their answer, he would scoff and brush off the invisible dirt from his clothes and then turn on the spot. He made his way to the castle, without any further delay. There was no point in wasting time with everyone when the answers to his questions were inside the castle. Besides, it was probably better not to stick around. He had something far more important to go do. Arjan grabbed his belongings and quickly left. He would figure out where he was meant to go afterwards.

The boat's slight rocking was almost soothing, which felt strange to Milena. For some reason, she had half expected the ride to shore to be more tumultuous. From what they had heard, Hogwarts had a certain reputation of being, well, a bit of a mess, really. But it was simply a short boat ride to shore.
“not what I was expecting,”
It seemed she had not been the only one to have some slight preconceived notions about what to expect, judging by the words of the boy in the boat with her. Now somewhat curious she cocked her head and inquired about his expectations: “Did you expect more … or less?”
Looking at him now, he seemed distantly familiar. She had definitely seen him around the corridors of Durmstrang but she doubted they'd ever had a proper conversation. The importance of networking and the requirements for admittance aside, Durmstrang was not exactly a small school and it was quite possible to never exchange a single word with some of one's fellow students.
If she was honest to herself in regards to the question she had just posed, she had expected both more and less. But then again, that might just be her lack of precise expectations. Still, Hogwarts looked pretty mundane for a magic castle. Grand, yes, it was a castle after all. Grand but mundane. A strange dichotomy.

Mikael watched the interaction with bored eyes. He didn't always understand Yefim's intentions, and right now he had little clue to what the other was trying to accomplish. Normally, he would be right behind Yefim with whatever half-baked plan he had. Though after the long journey, Mikael found he had little patience to entertain the boy. He had been hoping that Yefim would eventually lay off. He didn't want to be on this boat for another second, but he wasn't about to leave Yefim to his own devices. Especially, when it meant leaving him alone with this...girl. Mikael's eyes widened slightly as he watched the other punch her in the face. He knew that punch had sealed the deal on whatever exchange was about to take place. The boy's heart skipped a beat, and he would be lying if he said it wasn't from excitement. Yefim always did have a knack at drawing out Mikael's feelings in ways Mikael still struggled to do so. The boy uncrossed his leg and leaned forward in his seat. Expecting the worse to come.| Durmstrang | Third Year | Broom Racer |
Though, the only retaliation seemed to be a hard push. The boy bit the inside of his cheek as he watched his friend stumble ungracefully off the side of the boat. Mikael pushed himself upwards flexing his shoulders backward to pop them. He took measured steps towards where he last saw Yefim. Looking over the side of the boat it was easy to spot Yefim. The boy was half-merged in the shallow water. Looking more like a puppet who had its strings cut off than a human being. Mikael vaulted over the side of the boat and into the cold water. His pants instantly became soaked, and a foul expression crossed his usually stoic face. The boy waded through the water until he was right next to his friend. Mikael gripped Yefim's right elbow with his right hand and slid his left hand under his arm. Once he was sure he had a sturdy grip, Mikael pulled the boy up into a standing position. "Come on Yefim." he said in a detached tone. Mikael wasn't one to provide comfort to people not even to a friend. It was something Yefim should know well at this point, and he doubted that the other would complain. He knew that Niffler would most likely fill that role, and he wondered if the other would dote on him after this. Mikael gritted his teeth at that last thought as he willed the jealousy in his chest to dissipate. He had decided a while ago, Yefim should be allowed to seek out people for emotional support. Mikael couldn't provide that, and he refused to lie to Yefim. Besides, he was rather certain the other would see through his lies in a second.
Mikael threw the dazed boy's arm across his shoulder. In his incoherent state, Yefim leaned onto him with the full weight of his body. Mikael liked to think of himself as strong, but it would be nearly impossible to practically drag Yefim to shore. Mikael would turn his head towards the familiar form of Niffler, and frowned slightly. "Niffler come help support him." he roughly spoke. The sooner they got to the shore the better. Hopefully, by the time they got Yefim back onto land, he would be perfectly fine.

At the sound of Mik’s voice, Valentin whipped his head around. Mik was trying to fish Yefim out of the water and needed help– this was no time to be settling the score with the beefy blonde. Yes, the white niffler knew his pecking fists would take too long to wear away at the mountain of a girl... were his aim to deal significant damage. However, Valentin’s extremely accurate but exceptionally weak punch had served its symbolic purpose: he had showed that he would fight for his comrade. Now that comrade had a more pressing need than symbolism, however.

Nodding curtly at the mysterious blonde, Valentin turned and dashed into the water towards Yefim and Mik. It didn’t matter that Niffler didn’t know how to swim; he would go anywhere if Yef or Mik needed him. Valentin’s native element was that of the open sky, full of air, so the feeling of suffocating and his reduced speed against water’s resistance always made swimming repulsive to the speedfreak quidditch star. Yet, however much he was not in his element, Valentin would not allow anything to separate him from his friends. Niffler ran straight into the lake without bothering to take clothes or shoes off, and immediately the water pushed back against him. Waterlogged clothing creating even more drag, Valentin slogged painfully slowly against the lapping lake water until he reached Mik's side.
“Yef!” shouted Valentin, trying to pull Yefim’s other arm over his shoulder. Together with Mik, Valentin attempted to drag Yefim out of the lake.

Toppling into the freezing cold water, Yefim hadn't even seen the professional punch coming. Even if he was strong, Yefim was not an expert fighter. He was self-taught, and still had much to learn. Instead, he was lights out before he even left the boat, though admittedly, punches to the face were something he tended to attract. It wasn't a secret why, he did swing first, and usually did. He had hoped his training over the summer would have afforded him a bit more time in the ring, but he was still a human in the end. For now.
In his dazed state, as well as the shock from the cold, he struggled to focus enough to even stand up, but thankfully his two best friends minions were there to do the heavy lifting for him. He was completely out of it, shivering despite his body's acclimation to the freezing cold. With both boys eventually on either side of him though, he started to warm up. He could eventually help them out a bit by standing on his own two legs as they supported him.
He hadn't always had people who lifted him up, this year was going to be a good one, for sure.
[”Thank you, comrades.”] Once they were all wet and on land, Yefim found his voice again and was back to grinning madly. 'I love you both so much', he wanted to say, but couldn't. It might ruin his image of ultimate superiority, after all, which would be no good.
