Distracted Thoughts PV Quinn Healy Closed

Eri smiled watching Quinn. "I know I haven't really answered much of your questions. Well if there are any question you want me to answer ask them. I kind of gather that we are friends now?" She hoped she did not sound kind of arrogant. She really did think that they were friends, and she could tell there were things he wanted to ask her. She knew that because she was good at observing people and reading their emotions sometimes. Though she didn't want to seem like she had things to hide. It was rude of her to seem like she was ignoring him.

The Ravenclaw gathered her thoughts and read her book. She wanted to finish it so she could start working on her other book that she brought along with her. The brunette wanted to seem involved but she was very distant since her thoughts and attention were being sucked into her book. It would take all of her will to put the book down and close it before she finished it. Sighing she put a piece of paper in the book to mark her place then she closed it and sat it on the table. She smiled waiting for his response.

"I know I haven't really answered much of your questions. Well if there are any question you want me to answer ask them. I kind of gather that we are friends now?" He saw her smile and couldn't help, but show his sheer excitement. He showed in the form of shaking trying to contain himself. Quinn closed his eyes allowing himself to calm down first before he spoke again. We're friends I can't believe she said we're friends. Yes! This is great! He excitedly thought smiling rather gleefully.

Quinn flushed lightly coughing a bit. "O-Of course we're friends I think that sort of thing is pretty clear now" He couldn't but chuckle at her. "Now then I do have quite a few questions, but I'll try not to bombard you with all these questions. I apologize if I do it anyway" He then took a moment of pause closing his book as well.

"Well I guess first what's your favorite thing about the transfiguration? Is it the freedom? Also what animal would you choose once you become an animagus? Also are you interested in magizoology? Also I'm still curious what other stuff you know about werewolves." Like he warned earlier he began to bombard her with questions. Rather quickly he managed to stop himself from going further.

He still had a lot of questions for her like what were other topics she fancied, or what all she knew about more magical creatures. Nice going Quinn you're bombarding her with questions anyway. He sighed thinking to himself, retaining his smile, waiting for your responses.

"It is okay. I know what is like to have so many questions." She smiled he said they were friends, that was great. My favorite thing about transfiguration is the ability to change one thing into a completely different thing. I would choose to be an orange maine coon cat. I know about magizoology, it is interesting but not something I want to do my whole life. Like I said I know werewolves don't have control over there transformation. They aren't responsible for there actions when they transform. Okay I know you have more questions. Go ahead and ask them."

She smiled at them and was interested in his curiosity. He seemed eager to learn more about her. She would answer them since she was his friend. She didn't really know what magiczoology was. She knew the basics but really that was about it. To her Quinn seemed very passionate in magiczoology. You would have to be very passionate about the job you wanted to do. She sat quietly awaiting his questions. He seemed to have a million questions for her. She would answer them all with honesty. Hopefully he did not have a thousand more questions to ask her.

"Yes well I'll do have some more but I don't want to bother you too much so I'll only ask a few more...What do you want to do after you graduate Hogwarts? I mean,I know you already told me why you're doing all this. But now I'm curious, what do you want to do after Hogwarts? How many books have you read from here so far? Lastly what classes do you have perhaps we have some in common?"

Quinn took a deep breathe after that. He needed to since he said all of that in a single breathe. His brilliant bluish-green eyes staring at you. Not amy in creepy sort of manner, but in a way that would let Eri know she had Quinn's full attention. It's quite funny I had hoped to solve Ravenclaw's riddle door. Instead, I meet and make a new friend and possible intellectual rival. How curious, this day is really full of surprises.

His smile broadened into a grin after he finished his thoughts. Making sure to bring his focus back to reality lest his mind start wonder much like his Daideo would at times. A retired Magizoologist and astronomer his Daideo would always regale him with tales of all these fantastical beasts. Easily able to recall the details of each one Quinn would ask about.

His Daideo was practically a zoological encyclopedia. Shoot there I go letting my mind wander again. Mentally he sighed forcing himself back to focus on Eri,keeping his attention this time.

"Well maybe be an auror. I really don't know. I might have read thirty or twenty books in this library. I loose track very easily. Well first years have the same classes. So I have all of your classes." She could tell he was getting side tracked by his thoughts although his attempt to stay focused.

Eri smiled at him once he regained his focus. It was so easy to get lost in her thoughts these days. One minute Eri is there listening then another she is so lost in thought she forgets where she is. Which doesn't normally happen a lot.

"I don't exactly know what I want to be. I would like it to be transfiguration related. Since that is my passion. How about you? What besides being a magiczoologist do you want to peruse after Hogwarts?" She inquired. Maybe he would just want to be a magiczoologist. Which did sound interesting but not enough for Eri to want to be one.

The Ravenclaw combed her hand through her hair absentmindedly as she thought. Her mind swirled as she got lost deep into her thought, only too snap right out of it and regain focus on the real world.

After hearing her last comment Quinn had to actually go back and think about it for a moment. Yeah magizoology was cool and he might do that as a career option...and yet that still didn't seem like the right for him. As he pondered this a sudden thought came to his mind. Something he but all forgot about it. A few years back he remembered his parents talking about this very hush hush department inside the ministry of magic. "The department of mysteries...." He had absent mindedly said.

All of a sudden his eyes lit up and he smiled from ear to ear. "I know where I want to work, I just hope I can get in there. The Department of Mysteries!" Quinn did his best to keep his voice down. Even making sure to look around to make sure he didn't disturb anyone else. Quinn then turned his attention back to you still retaining his wide-eared smile.

"From what my parents told me they are a very secretive department in the ministry that focuses on top secret research. Their main goal is to basically uncover the mysteries of the world, and as such they have almost full independence from to the point they don't even have to answer to the department of magical law enforcement!"

He paused for a moment to let all that sink in, "Even the minister of magic can't actually do much to the department, because they have so much independence. That sounds like a perfect fit for me" He laughed taking a breath afterwards.

Quinn couldn't help but flush lightly a wee bit embarrassed. He loved to talk about certain things, but when he got really excited about something or passionate about it. Then the words would just flow out quite quickly, and often times this was quite overwhelming for quite a few people. Including his parents at time, but despite that Quinn had a feeling that aspect of himself would not really affect Eri much.
