Letters to the Family
So this first post is an explanation post. Since it won’t have 200 I don’t know if it will be allowed but here goes anyhow:
This is Katniss sending letters to her friends and family in the muggle world. I will Alison be writing their replies. You can follow along with what is happening as I will try to write daily (but since some people can’t write daily then it won’t happen). Also, if you read her backstory you will see that she is writing to her adoptive family. Her siblings are 1 and 2 years of age so when she is writing to them, their parents will actually be reading it to them. The kids won’t actually reply. Each letter will be in a new post. Each person will have a different colour.

Dear D,A Letter To Her Adoptive Mother
I am sorry I haven’t written yet. Things have been so busy. I love it here at Hogwarts. I made friends too! Tory Williamson, Haley Rose, Rhea Miler and Calypso Starling. There is so much to learn! Also, I got sorted into Gryffindor. At first I wasn’t so sure but I’m fine now! My favourite class is potions. I love making things. The moving stairs are also confusing! Anyway, enough about me, let me know what is going on with you. Can’t wait to hear any news!

Sorry I haven’t written to you yet but I have exciting news! Gryffindor 2, Ravenclaw 1! I wasn’t sure I was a Gryffindor but I have decided that I am now. I hope you are having a good time trying to control Seb. I really love it here at Hogwarts! It is amazing. You and D should have told me the moment you knew I was a witch. Sadly for you though, it has become Potions 2, Transfiguration 1. How are things back in Carlston?

I know Mummy and Daddy will read you this so I won’t include any secrets they shouldn’t know. Seb- I hope you are being completely crazy for Daddy, and making him run around. Are you still wearing nappies? Clara- I hope you don’t have colic anymore and you aren’t waking Mummy up! Are you teething yet?

I have exciting news! I am pregnant again! They are twins. I will ask Headmaster Lear if you can get out of school for one day. Your letter told me you were a potion girl. I love potions too! I hope you are enjoying your time at Hogwarts, how was Christmas? I hope you got your presents. Thank you for ours.

Of course you are a Gryffindor! But how dare you become a potion girl??? When you get home... Everyone missed you at Christmas, why didn’t you come? Seb is being very crazy and I can guess he is under the instructions of someone. Things in Carlston are fine. East Carlston had the best fireworks display. South didn’t even do one!
