Don't be late

Dates to remember:
Day letters went out: January 9th
Day of This thread:January 10th
Things to remember:
Your Jobs
The fact you don't know Michael gave you the letters yet
The letters were vague. Come to the classroom at 4, on the 10. The writer didn't leave a name, nor a reason under his words. Over 10 letters went out, black owls, white owls, barn owl, owls of every shape and every color went in different directions. One went to the quidditch pitch, after a long saturday of practicing. One went to the dueling room, almost getting hexed by a training student. One pecked a window, impaitent with the student who was finishing a lesson.
The letters were read, the owls returned to the owlery, same snacking on treats they were given, some content with the pecks they gave the students who didn't have a treat at hand.
The next day, a single step of foot steps walked through the empty hall, the tap of his dress shoes loud in the quiet space.
The footsteps quieted when they walked into a classroom, a paper with Hogwart Youth Ministry printed in bold letters tapped to the door, then the sound of the old door shutting.

Don't be late
Yesterday she had received her first letter. At first thought the girl wondered if it could be her parent's writing to her hoping her journey and arrival to Hogwarts was safe. On first feel, she felt an unknown seal on the letter and her nerves tingled in nervousness and also excitement. What could this letter be for, or more importantly whom was it from?
The only problem was she couldn't read. What if the letter was private? It did have a seal after all, which any letters she saw with seals were important which could be good or bad. How was she going to have someone read it to her if it was important? All these thoughts coursed through her brain as she made her way to the Hufflepuff Common Rooms.
What happened next came in a blur. A younger Hufflepuff girl approached her and commented that they got similar letters. How odd, but maybe she could help read it and explain it to her. So, that's what she asked and the girl proceeded to do so. Some sort of society, a secret society? That was intriguing but even more so was that there was no signature as to whom had sent it and they were requested to meet at a certain place the following night. With directions given to her by the very helpful Hufflepuff she nodded and headed to her dormitory to wait and ponder what could be happening.
That was yesterday. Today Annie's shoes quietly echoed on the floor as she felt her ways along the wall, occasionally stopped to mentally picture where she approximately was and where she had to go according to the directions given to her yesterday. Her hands fumbled around as she felt for a wooden door compared to the cold marble of the walls. Soon an unusual material brushed across her hand. It was paper-like. Maybe a sign or poster of sorts? With a quick huff the brunette strode into the room and stopped, hearing silence before calling out in hopes of a response. "Hello? I got a letter and a message. Am I in the right place?"

Don't be late
Haley strolled through the castle on her way to one of the classrooms. On the way, she hardly met any other students, which didn't surprise her, after all, it was Sunday and what should students be looking for in a classroom on a Sunday. However this was Haley's destination for today. In her hand she held the letter she had received the day before and again she looked curiously at the seal. She still did not know who had sent her this letter, let alone what it was exactly about.
She remembered how yesterday afternoon she was lying comfortably on her bed reading a book when suddenly an owl sat at her window and knocked impatiently against the pane. Haley paused for a few seconds - no owl had ever flown right up to her window before, but she got up and opened the window. There it sat, a black owl with a letter, which Haley quickly accepted and before she could have given the owl a snack it was gone again. Haley turned back around, closed the window and looked confused at the letter she held in her hands. She read the words, looked at the seal - both several times - but couldn't figure it out. What was this? And who sent it to her?
Now Haley was on her way to getting answers to her questions. She put the letter in one of her back pockets of her pants and walked with quick steps through the corridors. Her nervousness increased with each step, she didn't like the feeling of not knowing what was waiting for her. After a few minutes, Haley could see a note on one of the doors from far away. The closer she got, the more she could make out. After a few steps she stood in front of the door and read the words carefully - Hogwarts Youth Ministry - Haley still couldn't imagine anything and wasn't sure if she was in the right place. She looked right and left but couldn't see anyone. She pushed open the wooden door, stepped through and looked around the classroom with a strained gaze.
The door behind her slammed shut and she was startled for a moment. She looked into a few unfamiliar faces. She was at a loss for words and quickly pulled the letter back out of her pocket. "Um, Hey." She held the letter up for the others to see. "Am I in the right place?" Haley looked intently at the faces and smiled to everyone waiting for an answer.

The 9th of January was overall like any other days, there were classes that at points seem to bore the twelve year old, studying with friends in the library, dueling practice which was one of the better one's in Henry's opinion, and finally sitting outside under his favorite tree with his close friends until dinner. Although not everything was normal yesterday after his dueling practice Henry had a good feeling since he successfully casted the spells that he taught himself that day and head out to the grounds in search of his close friend to sit with when a owl dropped a peculiar letter at his feet. The letter had no name or address instead it only had one line which was instructions for him to go to the abandoned classroom at 4:00 on the 10th.
The whole thing had been odd to Henry, first off who wrote the letter and where did it come. Recognizing the owl as a school one, he knew that it must have come from a Hogwarts student but why? Did they need to ask him a question or maybe he got on the bad side of someone, mostly likely a slytherin and they wanted to settled it in private or maybe it was for something like a secret society. Whichever the reason was why did he get one? Why was he holding a letter from a mysterious sender asking him to meet somewhere tomorrow... Henry wasn't sure if he should go to that classroom at first on the 10th but after a few hours and a night of restless sleep, the twelve year old decided that he would go.
So the boy grabbed a few items and threw them in his messager type bag and deciding to leave his feline friend; Loki in his dormitory for his own safety before advancing toward the classroom. The twelve year thought about tell someone or bring someone as back up, a few people came to him rather quickly and in almost of a list format which he normally made in his head on the result of his anxiety.
1. Logan Baird - Best Friend - Dueler, loyal and intelligent friend. Caring and wouldn't leave me in a fight. I trust her with my back and vice versa.
2. Alexa Mackenzie - Friend - Dueler - Loyal, caring, and kind friend who won't leave in a fight and would stick by your side.
3. Scarlett Aden - Friend? - know since children - Quidditch player - Brave, intelligent, outspoken person who I won't admit out loud but friend, definitely strong and trustworthy in any situations.
4. Michael Miller - Friend - loyal, intelligent, cool friend who is reliable and definitely useful in a fight. Leader type and by far trustworthy.
5. Rose Moon - Friend - Dueler - loyal, kind, and trustworthy friend. Sweet and I know she has my back like I do for her. Although things might be a bit weird between us since our parents are engaged and all...
6. Cash Ironwoods - friend - quidditch player - intelligent, tough, strong, and sort of kind person whom I can trust and knows has my back...
Has Henry was going for the list plus for in his head, he couldn't help but think of the worst possible situations so as he neared the classroom the boy took out the marauders map and his wand before tapping it to the map as he whispered, " I solemnly swear that I'm up to no good," still holding his wand as he checked the map to ensure no one was also nearing the door but noticed two other students; Haley Rose and Annie Morgan were in the classroom. So Henry folded the map back up and slid it into his messager type bag before keeping a rather tight grip on his wand as he approached the door that when he saw the piece of paper on the door.
Hogwarts Youth Ministry
Instantly Henry felt his his stomach drop and heart pound within his chest since he hated the ministry of magic. He never liked it the place and swore that he would never look for the ministry even through almost every member of his family worked in or is involved in the ministry, his father's family had power in the ministry of family not that Henry knows. His father works in the creature department, his mother was a auror when she was alive, his brother is training to become a auror so you would think Henry would follow in his family's ministry path and look for a career in the ministry of magic but it was the opposite.
The twelve year old knew of the ministry of magic prejudices to those of different blood and races including; werewolves which they made register only to make the chances of looking for a career harder for them and all. Not counting the ministry's prejudices with squibs, muggleborns, halfborns, goblins, centaurs, house elf's, and a lot more that Henry didn't feel like thinking about at the moment.
However the result was clear, the boy would never work at the ministry and his friends knew this then why did he receive a letter asking him to come to this classroom labeled with the one thing that he hated more than anything?
Henry looked around for a bit before taking a breath and entering the room, still with his left hand tightly gripping his wand as he stepped into the classroom and looked around to find the two girls there before deciding to speak out " uh hello, a letter told me to come here? Do you guys know what's going on here or why we were called here?"

It was strange when she had received a letter from an unknown sender. It was stranger still when a prefect got one as well. What caused her to be in the same group as a prefect? Her general awkwardness and shyness moved out of the way to allow her to get some potential answers as to why. Only to find out that Annie was blind- it took a moment to process what that meant before the first year helped, placing that thought in the back of her mind for later. Or maybe never- it wasn't really hers to look into.
She made it on time, at the door of the classroom a little early. The sign had caused her some confusion, unsure exactly what was going on. With the addition of a rather sparse letter, the girl wasn't feeling all that keen. Light footsteps made their way into the classroom, brown eyes gazing hesitantly at the others in the room. The nice thing was that the Hufflepuff prefect had made it- she had been a little worried when offering the directions. The staircases never seemed to work in anyone's favor. Her confusion remained though, everyone else seeming to have got the same amount of details as she did.
While others asked around if this was the right spot, Lea would keep quiet, glancing around the room to find a spot that felt comfortable away from the others. The confusion surrounding this place and the awkwardness the girl always felt when around people at Hogwarts wasn't helping anything, wishing to shy away further.

Rose wasn't sure what the letter had meant. Well, she was sure what it meant. It was pretty specific, even though it was a little vague and didn't supply a reason or who was sending it. Rose didn't even know if it was addressed to her, if she was really supposed to have gotten the letter. It could have been addressed to someone else and she could have been going to the wrong place, inserting her nose where it didn't and never would belong.
So, maybe the thing she didn't know was why. Why was the person intended to receive the letter being asked to go to "the classroom" at four on the tenth? It didn't specify which tenth, either. February tenth? March tenth? But Rose assumed it was January tenth. Dang, this person was vague. But maybe it was supposed to be vague. When you didn't specify things, it sounded mysterious.
So Rose was going to go meet this person, the sender of the owl, in "the classroom" on the tenth, at four o'clock. The redhead had brought her wand, just in case. She peeked in, finding a few other people there. She would carefully slip in, keeping to the edges of the room without thinking much about it. So maybe this was the classroom? Now all she had to do is wait to be told why she was here.
