Not Letting You Down Easy
All I needed was a place to finish my essay for Potions. The library is always filled with students hurrying to shelves to check out books, but I need the time for myself. I've heard stories from my cousin (who had graduated Hogwarts 2 years ago) that there is a Room of Requirement on the fifth floor of the castle. However, my cousin forgot to tell me how to get into it. Guess I'll just use the study room.
I walked in with my arms full of books, parchment, and quills. After taking a brief look around the room, I decided that I would settle down in the corner, where surely no one is going to disturb me. Unfortunately, I was wrong.
As soon as I finished setting down my stuff, several third years formed a circle around me.
"Get out, It's our corner," one of them hissed, the others nodding in agreement.
"Really? I don't see your names printed here," I gave them a sarcastic smile, not backing away.
"You're new here, right?" a tall boy asked, his face was all pointy.
"Yes. And for your information, this is my corner now," I flashed them another smile and went back to my homework, dipping my quill into the ink.
"This is not over, New Girl," the tall boy hissed again, I ignored his glare.
"And I won't be letting you down easy," I closed my potions book, making eye connection with all three third years.
*OOC Note: the third years mentioned in this post are all NPCs

Not Letting You Down Easy
Katniss had just walked into the study room when she saw a girl in the corner, surrounded by what looked to be third years. As she drew closer she could hear them telling her that is was their corner, but the girl wasn’t backing down. As she looked closer, she realised it was Grace! “Hi Grace!” she said, before promptly sitting down at the desk beside her. The third years jumped on her straight away. “You’re not meant to be here.” “Get out of our corner.” “Who told you you could join the cool kids?” Half of them were attacking her, the other half attacking Grace. Each time the girls answered cooly and calmly to them, never flinching, never backing down. But while the girls weren’t giving up, neither were the third years. The sat down at the surrounding desks, and their insults became worse. It was disturbing, having them hang over her shoulder but she produced a pair of earmuffs, which she always carried around, in case of disturbances like this. I put my head down and started to work. Poor Grace. She had nothing to block her ears with except her hands and she needed to write with them.

Paige had homework to do. So she went to the library. She walked in a gasped. There was third years harshly talking to her friends. Katniss and Grace. Paige shook her head. Katniss had earmuffs, Grace did not. Paige shook her head. She walked over and placed her bag down next to her two friends. Immediately the third years sprung up. They could tell Paige was weak. "Get out of here, beantown" "this is OUR corner." "It's not ment for DORKS like you." They were tapping Paige on the shoulder, but she calmly ignored them. She was used to this. After all, she got bullied back at home. She looked up, anger in her otherwise beautiful eyes.
"Beat it, jerks." They all laughed, but this time with less gusto. "Who are you to talk to us like that? Mudblood? You must be one. If I were you, I'd scram" Paige clenched her fists and gritted her teeth. She rolled her eyes and stood up. "I think I said beat it. And last time I checked, you AREN'T me. So unless you want me to get the librarian-" She calmly grabbed the leaders pinky and twisted it with each word. "Leave. My. Friends. Alone."
