P.U.R.E. meet 1 Open to all Closed

Michael hummed as he listened to Henry tell him about the camera, "Yeah, pictures would be awesome." He said with a smile. Before they could get together for the picture, multple people came. His eyebrows raised.

"Hi! I'm Michael Miller, I'm the founder of P.U.R.E." he pointed at his memebers in turn. "Henry, Simon, Paige, Sarah. . ." he said all the names of the people he knew, then smiled. "Glad you all are here. We have hot chocolate, and i have a blanket, you can ask the girls to share." He said.

He licked his lips, getting his thoughts together. "Um, yeah i think it's time to get started." He said, he grabbed a piece of parchment from his pocket. "First, my officials. I need a co-leader, Secretary, someone to make flyers and things, and someone to organize muisc. . .do any of yall want to do any of these?" He asked as he sat down again, on the edge of the bench.

Mentally, he thought about his little club, trying not to just jump up and down in happiness. He wondered if he had enough badges for a moment, but the thought was pushed from his mind as his memebers started to speak.

Eden’s introduction caught Sarah slightly off guard. She’d heard his name in passing on numerous occasions, fairly certain their parents were business partners of some sort. Not that the Slytherin could ever really keep up with that sort of thing. Her father was constantly bringing home pretentious Pure-Bloods for business meetings which held little intrigue to the girl. She disliked her father’s beliefs about blood purity and in tandem disliked the company he kept which all held similar opinions. Still, she thought she might give the new boy the benefit of the doubt and offered him a small smile of welcome. “Sarah Lightwood, second year, Slytherin,” She offered, knowing he’d likely recognise the name and assume she held the same opinions as her father. She wanted to prove him wrong.

She bit her lip to stop herself from smirking when she heard Paige’s response, pleased to see she could clearly hold her own if she needed to. She didn’t know the girl, but had already decided she liked her. and if that was partially for the selfish reason of potentially being able to ask her more about the muggle world at a later date, then so be it. she watched Eden closely, curious for his reaction to her outstretched hand. His response would be telling.

She greeted Cash with a soft “hello,” and smiled as she settled beside Opeila. Something about having two of her dorm mates here made her feel comfortable, despite them not being overly close to one another. She found that familiarity with other students, no matter how well acquainted, was always appreciated. The nervous looking girl who approached next, introduced herself as Wei. She looked so unsure, almost as if she wanted to leave the second she’d arrived. She was pleased to see Simon quickly stepping in to stop her, briefly smiling to herself. She found that the way people treated others was often one of the best ways by which you could judge them. If you were kind to others, then Sarah would be kind to you.

“Hi Wei,” She said once Simon had finished speaking to her. They’d never spoken before, but Sarah hoped her tone was friendly enough to help convince her to stay. “There’s plenty of room over here if you fancy warming up,” She added quickly, motioning to the blanket which was now covering multiple pairs of legs. “I promise we don’t bite,” She couldn’t hlp but add with a teasing grin.

The meeting was about to start however a few more people joined the coward some came with excuses while others didn't. First up was someone Henry thought he remembered seeing at dueling practice and introduced herself as Opeila but what caught his eye was that she had a cat to. Loki saw to and approached after giving each a sniff, the feline would sit in front of the girl and give her a look almost saying he wanted to sit with her cat. Henry smiled a bit as he spoke to her " I'm Henry, your on the slytherin dueling team to right? And that's Loki, he would hurt you and he pretty friendly to a extent," smiling a bit toward her as conversation broke out again allowing Henry look through his camera and take a few pictures of the members.

Another boy walked in with a sort of arrogant walk and definitely had some blood status problems which allowed Henry to spot the conversation between him; Eden and another member whom Henry definitely liked more; Paige. Henry would step to Paige's side before saying " I'm Henry Knight, Slytherin Dueler also uh pureblood," the boy hated when others compared blood, " not that blood status matters. Anyway this is P.U.R.E and it's to show that pureblood aren't evil, not a pureblood club," giving the boy a weak smile before turning to Paige and saying " mind if I get a picture of you to show what the club is about Paige?" He would then wait for her answer before talking a few pictures of the girl that's when he saw a purple haired student whom he was more than glad to see.

Stepping away from the duo, he would walk toward them as he spoke " Hey Cash, good to see you," before giving a slight laugh as he pointed toward his orange cat; Loki as he spoke "yeah that's my cat, Loki," before watching Loki approach Cash and give them a sniff before his approval meow meaning that he trust them. After a moment through they wander back toward Opeila's cat in hopes for a new playmate.

Another girl then joined them and letting his camera hang around his neck as the boy took a slip of hot chocolate Henry would just smile at them before turning to Michael and speaking " I volunteer to be your media person Mike and I can also help organize events or games_Moderator," giving his friend a smile before putting his cup back down and taking a few more photos of the meeting.

Smiling to Henry, she nodded. "Sure. I don't mind." Then she smiled at everyone who had been by her. She lowers her voice. "I don't think Eden found me very nice, though." She hoped everyone knew she was joking. Once Michael got everyone's attention, he would begin talking. Paige had supplies for everything in case they were needed for the flyers or something.

She took another sip of her hot cocoa. "And, if you need someone to take notes from each meeting, I volunteer. I'm great at taking quick and neat notes." She pulled out a notebook and a blue quill with silver feathers. It was her favorite note taking quill. She smiled at the girl everyone called Wei. "Hey, I'm Paige Chase." Then she held out her hand for Loki to sniff.


She took out the bracelets she had in her pocket. "Hey uh, so I made these. If anyone wants one." She would then hold out the different bracelets. All of them were different styles. Paige enjoyed using different techniques. She didn't expect anyone to want one, though.

Eden took quick notice and favoured those who claimed to be in Slytherin, immediately, without showing any signs of hesitation, shifting his steps towards them and avoiding anyone who dared to state that they were not pure. In fact, hearing the name Lightwood did bring a gleam of hope on his face as he was excited to hear such name. There had been some sort of connection between the two Houses, henceforth, this immediately became an interesting dynamic.
"A wonderful pleasure to meet you, Sarah. How does your family fair?" He asked with genuine interest. Offering his right hand to her, as etiquette had it. He was almost going to bow - but then he realized, he didn't bow to anyone. Not unless forced to anyways.

The fact that everyone bothered to mention and state their House felt like a slap in the face. Eden would have had no problem at all to do the same thing if he was in Slytherin. But no, he had to gallop around saying that he was in Hufflepuff like a clown. It was embarrassing. Hopefully, none of these fellow students really knew anything about the Gardeners. And if they did, then hopefully they heard of the cold, spine-chilling tales of the family.

Some fellow even had the audacity to walk up to him with his chest pumped up and talk as if he knew anything about literally, anything.
"Of course our blood does not matter," Eden lied, his eyes rolling to the back of his head. He sounded annoyed. The boy had every right to be.
"But anyways, as you can see, I'm ecstatic to be apart of this." Eden then continued, sounding bitter more than joyful.

As a matter of fact, Eden was willing to prove just how much his purity didn't matter, and show mercy to the muggle-born witch who introduced herself a couple of minutes ago. He looked at her, sighed, gave her a cold glare and turned his back at her further proceeding to walk over anywhere that was not next to her. That was mercy. Had he really wanted to show his colours, (which were anything but yellow), he would have made it very, very clear.

At least the badge looked nice on his coat... for a while, then, he hid it away in his pockets where it belonged.

Henry would level up the photo before taking it of Paige after he would show her the picture which was when he heard her comment about the boy; Eden in which Henry whispered to her " Eden is probably just a blood fanatic definitely not somone whose opinion should matter to you Paige," giving her a smile before listening to Eden some more and disliking the boy more as time went on.

Walking around the group while taking photos, Henry approached the girl he didn't know yet as he spoke " I'm Henry, it's nice to meet you Wei right?" Remembering he heard her say it a few minutes ago before adjusting his camera and asking Sarah, Simon, and Wei as he spoke " mind if I get a photo of you three? It's for the club," after he would hear there replies, Henry would then step back and look through the eye hole before snapping a few shots. After he would face the three again and with a smile he spoke " they look bloody amazing but if you want to see them then come to me after the meeting mates," smiling a bit before listening to Eden ask about Sarah's family allowing Henry to think that if he used his father's surname; Alluring then the pureblood boy who definitely know the family since they were well known and one of the top pureblood families a thought that made Henry curse at least to himself.

However if he used his mother's surname; Knight then yes the pureblood boy who cared about blood status named Eden would know the family but not as much since most of the history is hidden to the world.

Henry however behind Eden's back would face Simon, Sarah, and Wei before he started to worshiper a funny imitation of Eden as Henry bowed before jokingly kissed Sarah's hand as he whispered in a way to sound like Eden, " I am Eden Gradener of the pureblood family of Gradener but we don't garden. If your not a pureblood like me then stay away from me," silently laughing a bit toward the three before hearing what Pagie said about being bracelets and looking as he spotted a few before smiling as he spoke " their amazing mind if I have one Paige?" he woild wait with them a bit before starting to walk toward Cash as he then waved a bit toward them with a smile he spoke " hey mate, glad to see you here," taking a few more photos for a few passing moments before speaking to Cash again " you would be an bloody amazing co leader, you should do it."

Smiling a bit toward Cash before moving and standing next to Michael as he then took some pictures of his slytherin best friend before whispering so the others couldn't hear him, " I can't decide, is Eden judging us or is he just a prick?" Before smiling a bit toward the boy, Henry then went back to taking photos of the club while Loki stayed sitting next to Opeila's cat.

“Sorry, I guess I’ve just seen you around the common rooms and picked it up,” Sarah said as she spoke to Wei. It was something the girl had started to notice more often. She’d pick up a person’s name before having been officially introduced. She put it down to her habit of ‘people-watching’, always curious to see what was going on in other people’s lives. She gave Wei a friendly smile, one she hoped might help bring the girl out of the shell she appeared to be so deeply buried in. “Music is never a disturbance, in my opinion,” Sarah added when she saw the girl’s hesitance and gave her an encouraging nod in hopes she might finish what she’d been about to say. She didn’t mention it though, knowing that it might just make her more uncomfortable.

Then Eden caught her attention again. Something about the way her spoke made Sarah want to roll her eyes. She managed to resist the temptation though, opting for casual politeness. After all, she really didn’t want to cause an issue or start something with anyone else. She was still recovering from her argument with Ross just a few days prior. “My father is well, and my aunt has just left for Switzerland,” She replied, reluctantly taking his hand to shake it. she kept her grip firm in the way her father had always taught her so as not to show weakness. It was perhaps one of the only times she actually paid his etiquette lessons any mind.

“And yours?” She asked as an afterthought, a part of her hoping that if she could get on this boy’s good side, she might be able to turn him around to her way of thinking. She knew many Pure-Blood children who simply based their opinions on their parents’ rather than forming their own. Maybe she could help change that. Wishful thinking, perhaps. The more he spoke, the less likely it seemed.

Henry seemed not to be able to bite his tongue as Sarah had. She admired it actually. Where she was trying to keep the peace, for Michael’s sake if nothing else, Henry wouldn’t allow this boy to walk over anyone. She smiled at her fellow Slytherin when he’d finished speaking, giving him a small nod to acknowledge what he’d said. Eden walking away seemed to end the possibility of an outright fight and Sarah relaxed, not having realised the tension building up inside of her. She released a deep breath and slumped her shoulders slightly.

When Paige spoke, Sarah let out a light chuckle, hoping the girl hadn’t taken the boy’s actions to heart. After all, it was clear it had nothing to do with her personally, rather a general dislike of anyone who’s blood wasn’t pure. She cringed inwardly, hating the fact that blood purity was still a deciding factor of someone’s worth to some people. The young Slytherin never could understand how you could judge someone based on something they had no control of. Besides, it wasn’t as if even Pure-Bloods were as pure as some of them liked people to think. She was more than aware of her own family’s history and how it was more than likely that a Lightwood or two had been born without magic. “Try not to take it personally,” She whispered to the girl and offered a small smile, before adding “apparently bigots come in all ages.”

Sarah let Henry take her hand and put on the most obnoxiously bored face she could as he dramatically kissed it, before bursting into a fit of giggles. His impression was eerily accurate, and the girl had to hold back louder laughter in fear the boy being imitated might hear her. “Stop it,” She scolded, though there was no heat to it and the grin on her face gave away how funny she found the situation.

When Paige pulled out a collection of homemade bracelets, Sarah was immediately intrigued, one with black and silver thread immediately catching her eye. When the Ravenclaw offered them out, she felt a strange swell in her chest, still unused to people being kind just for the sake of being kind. In her world – or rather her father’s world – no one was ever kind without an ulterior motive. But here, though many students at Hogwarts were guarded and not easily trusting, many of them were kind. “They’re beautiful. Did you make them?” Sarah asked, glancing at the bracelets and motioning to them as if asking permission to take a closer look. If allowed, she’d take the silver and black one which had caught her eye and inspect it more closely.
