A Friendly End Of Year Party

i apologise for my incredibly late response!
Scarlett stood back, admiring the view outside. Something about the grounds made her blood rush - whether it be the fresher air, the biting wind, the tranquillity of the lake (which was so dark it was just unbelievable, unrealistic) or even the random birds squawking about. Scarlett preferred this scenic location immensely, compared to the inside of the school. Now, the inside of Hogwarts was fabulous. Food, warmth, comfort. But outside in the wild there was adventure. That was what Scarlett loved. The girl sat back as her friends went and sung and dazzled everyone. She ate a bit. She smiled. She laughed. And it was fun!
"Well then, Miss Fox, and Mx Ironwoods," said Scarlet. "Seems like you had some uncovered skill."
She was about to sit back, cake halfway to her mouth when they called her up. Wait what? To - to sing? Oh no. Scarlett didn't sing. Scarlett wouldn't sing. Scarlett couldn't sing. It wasn't as if she was bad at singing. She was decent. She sung in the shower, mumbled Celestina Warbeck classics under her breath as she skipped along the street. But singing in front of other people? She wasn't scared. She could do plenty of things. She could talk, act, juggle and look like a complete lunatic in front of other people. On stage even. But singing was different. Singing was more...personal? Private? No - it was just a strange instinct of hers to not sing in front of people. But she didn't want to look lame, so she opted for a 'will-I-won't-I' approach instead.
"Well, it'll take me quite some persuading to go sing." laughed Scarlett. "Lindsey - I mean - Miss Springhall, how about you? Will you entertain us with the joys of music?"────── ☆ ───────
