A midnight dark owl would arrive at the break of dawn, it's small beak pecking at the glass of the Ravenclaw boys dorm. Tap... tap... tap... A gentle rapping noise that could be easily heard over the rustle of books, the turning of aged pages filled with the conventional wisdom of accepted scholars from days past.
The letter had a copper colored bit of wax that sealed the parchment closed. Symbol of a goat embossed on the waxy surface. The paper was heavy, the sort that screamed money. Of course to the intended recipient, it meant one thing -- a caller that needed no signature or herald.
