((this is a continuation to  Cootie infection))

A few steps ahead of Peach, Eris turned back to smile at her. They hadn't been caught by anybody, and hadn't got infected with cooties. So far their mission had been a success and the they were just one step closer to being deemed the heroes of the school. Feeling a victorious rush of energy, Eris burst into the hospital wing. A familiar nurse with a permanent exasperated expression looked up as the two girls burst into the hospital wing. The nurse looked at Eris, rolling her eyes with the usual disdain that Eris had experienced in her prior visit with Rose.

"Uh Miss Nurse Lady, we're here for a cure for cooties!" Eris said, in the determined voice of a child, with the plan of saving the world. Already her mind was racing, as she imagined saving the world from cooties with her new friend Peach at her side.

To her shock, the nurse snorted at the two girls. "Cooties?" The older woman said, with a look of barely disguised disgust. Eris nodded up at the nurse, childlike bliss and pride on her face. "Yes, we're going to save everybody from it!" She didn't give the nurse a chance to respond, eyes glowing with excitement. "We're going to be the heroes of Hogwarts!"

Eris looked to Peach in confirmation, hoping the other girl felt the same way about ridding the world of cooties.

Peach didn't feel any kind of anxiousness or nervousness. She felt like the main character of a heroic fantasy novel where the incredibly normal young girl found herself to do incredibly out-of-the-world thigs. Peach burst into the hospital wing with her friend, a determinated look on her face. Eris told the nurse that they were here for the cure to cootie and the nurse's eyes widenned. Peach found that weird but she didn't let it discourage her. She nodded vigourisly to her friend's words and a big smile on her face. When Eris was done, this one gave her a look and Peach took it as an invitation to add further information.

"Yes yes yes!" she blurted out, "Cooties are really dangerous and deadly and we need to save everyone! What if it spreads to the whole wide world? We need to have it Miss!" she said, her eyes glittering from joy. The nurse seemed to try to contain a large smile, which she failed to do, and Peach's smile got bigger. The nurse was proud of them! She would give them the cure and they would save Hogwarts and the whole world! The said nurse suddenly burst laughing and Peach's face lost its smile. She crossed her arms and looked at the nurse suspiciously.

Aurora overhears the conversation and decides to mess with them. "Oh no, I think I touched a boy! I have cooties too!" she says, trying to hold back laughter. A smirk curls across her face, and she notices she has a lollipop in her mouth. She rubs her red lollipop on her arm to look like a rash, and stumbles into the nurse's office, again trying not to laugh or smirk again. "Oh no, I think it's pretty bad..." Aurora said, and flopped onto a bed.

She grabbed her box of band-aids out of her bag, and put a handful of pastel coloured ones all over where she had wiped red lollipop all over her arm. She made sure nobody else was looking, and wiped it on her arm outside the band-aids, stretching across almost her entire forearm. "Oh no, it's getting worseee!" Aurora said, only barely able to fight back her grin. She fell back onto the bed, and took off her scarf. She quickly swiped the lollipop across her neck to simulate another rash. "It's on my neck now too!" she said as quickly as she could, making sure a laugh didn't slip out of her mouth, as that would give it all away. She stuck her tongue out, still with the lollipop in her mouth, making it look like she fainted.

Serena stared up at the wall, laying on one of the beds in the Hospital Wing. She had experienced so many injuries in the recent months that the hospital was going to become her second home. Of course, she tried to do most of the healing by herself. She relied heavily on plasters, bandages and fixing herself with any muggle methods she could do - as healing magic was beyond her. However, after all of the events and injuries, Serena's parents forced her to come in for a regular check up every so often just to make sure it was not taking a toll on her. This was one of those days.

The nurse had already checked her but had given her something to drink that had made her a little drowsy. So the Hufflepuff laid down for a while, just to let the effects wear off a bit before returning to her dorm room. She did not fancy running around whilst feeling dizzy - that seemed like an invitation to falling over and getting hurt even more.

As she lay there, she heard the voices of two very energetic girls pierce the room. They sounded determined and passionate. Serena sighed softly, just closing her eyes and relaxing. Well, that was the plan until she heard the word "cooties" being repeated. Her eyes shot wide open. They were looking for a cure for... cooties? The panic started to seep in. Did that mean it was really a thing? Was Serena affected? Was she going to... die?

She heard another girl pipe in, saying that cooties was really dangerous and deadly. Dread fell over her. Did Siege poison her...? Did he want her to die?! Did he hate her that much?

Suddenly sitting up, Serena looked around to spot a few girls standing by a nurse. She recognised Eris immediately, having met the Prefect before. The other girl looked very familiar too. A Hufflepuff, for sure. Serena had seen her around but she couldn't quite remember her name. She didn't recognise the other girl at all. "Uh..." She started, wondering what to say. How was she going to tell them that she had this a dangerous illness that one should avoid? "So- Sorry to interrupt... but uhh- are- are cooties really that bad?" She piped up, looking over to the girls with widened eyes and a look of worry on her face. Was she going to die?

On the bed, she saw a pink haired girl who claimed to have it and then fainted on the bed. This was definitely not helping to ease the worry Serena could feel growing in her heart. She just hoped someone spoke soon... And fixed it...

Aravis opened the door to the Hospital Wing with a sigh. She had managed to twist her arm falling down a few stairs. She listened to the girls talking with a bored expression. 'Cooties aren't real...Are they? No they can't be...or at least they aren't dangerous...' The black haired girl thought to herself. After all if they were real then how would you explain a kiss at a wedding. She walked up to the other girls with a smug smile. "Cooties? You can't cure cooties. Cooties aren't real. It's a child's myth! Even if they were real then how would you explain kisses at a wedding! They couldn't be that dangerous and deadly."

Aravis was beginning to wonder if the other girl's parent's had ever taught them that they didn't exist. She noticed the other Slytherin girl who had pretended to faint. She rolled her eyes at the silliness. "Why are you on the floor? If you were to catch any illness it would be on the dirty floor. Honestly." She said with a smile shaking her head. Aravis looked down at her own arm. It seemed to be throbbing from the fall. "If you'll excuse me I need to see if there is a way to fix my arm."

I will take what is mine with fire and blood.
