Dance Experience: Karlina spent most of her childhood admiring her mother and the piano she played. It was a common sight for residents of the Ackerman Estate to see young Karlina cheerfully spinning to melodies of her mother's creation, and they quickly determined that the child had a natural feel for the rhythms of music. Karlina's maternal grandmother was a big lover of the fine arts and considered them to be an essential part of human life, especially during one's childhood, so she was extremely happy to see Karlina taking an interest in dance and music, and encouraged the girl to learn as much of them as she could. Karlina has been learning ballroom dance since the age of four, which was a talent she often had to put to use at the numerous parties her parents hosted and attended, where dancing was a form of politeness and a sign of good upbringing.

After many years of being forced to dance, Karlina lost her initial excitement, which she found quite upsetting since she did actually enjoy it. Now, after a couple of years of rest from dancing, Karlina decided to give it another try, but this time under her own terms (more or less).
