Never Been Here Before...
Curiouser and Curiouser...It had been a while since Piérre had done some actual meandering; whether it be just around the school or just for the sake of enjoying himself with his silver Bengal, Figaro. In fact, his almost one year old kitten was currently on a leash which was wrapped casually around Piérre’s wrist. He had found out pretty quickly that his supposed cat really, really like walks, and who was Piérre to not oblige to his sweet little fur brother’s wishes? After all, Figaro had to get some excersise; being cooped up in Piérre’s dorm could drive anyone stir crazy, especially with the clutter that constantly filled it from floor to ceiling.
So that was where Piérre was right now: wandering. His wand was in hand, having been lit with a Lumos, and he was currently looking at the damp walls and the derelict stones which made up the dungeons of the Scottish castle. They were beautiful in the strangest way, the way the stones were cracked and crumbling in places, worn out by water damage and the winters of ice and cold. It was chilly down here, and part of Piérre had wished that he had brought a coat... but if he turned back now, then he might forget that he had come here in the first place. Heck, knowing him, he may forget how he got there in the first place!
So, Figaro was nicely trotting beside his owner, perhaps tugging a little bit as he encouraged Piérre to keep moving forward and ignore the ancient and crumbling parts of history around him. ”Hang on, Figgy! Let me look at the things around us! If we go through life without taking out time, then what use is the beauty of the castle? This stuff was created for us to admire, Figgy!”
Still, the ambiance was a little more than spooky... even if the quiet loneliness was rather quaint. Hardly ever did Piérre find himself peacefully happy to be alone. Perhaps it was too quiet. Maybe someone else was wandering about like he was? Well, no matter, if someone wanted to come and say hello, Piérre would be more than happy to chat... or maybe talk about anything, really.

Nova had been particularly restless the past week, Sarah having to spend more time in the library than usual to catch up on a few assignments she'd been neglecting. It had meant that Sarah hadn't been able to spend as much time with the cat as she'd have liked to, and clearly Nova was thinking the same thing. It was the weekend now, and Sarah had managed to get most of her work for the coming week completed, bar one Charms essay she was planning on completing some time next week. Nova seemed to realise this, and had been pawing at her ankles the second she'd climbed out of bed, wanting to explore the castle the way they'd soft often found themselves doing.
"Alright, girlie, I'll grab some breakfast and then we can go exploring," She said, bending down to scratch behind Nova's right ear in the place the Slytherin knew she enjoyed. It immediately satiated the feline and Sarah found herself thinking, not for the first time, that Nova secretly understood a lot more than she assumed most cats did. She quickly changed, slipped on her shoes, and grabbed her wand, before turning back to the grey ball of fur which had apparently decided she wanted to get cat hair all over Sarah's bed. A punishment, no doubt, for Sarah's apparent neglect of her. She rolled her eyes fondly, offering Nova a final scratch before turning for the dormitory doors. "I'll be back soon," She promised, slipping out of the common rooms towards the Great Hall.
True to her word, Sarah was stood back in the Slytherin common rooms within the hour. The second she opened the door, her eyes caught sight of Nova, slowly making her way over in something more akin to a strut than the usual walk of a cat. Sarah scooped her up into her arms when she was close enough and the pair made their way out of the common rooms, ready for a day of exploring the castle and its grounds. As they walked down a dimly lit corridor in the dungeons, Sarah found herself talking nonsense, rattling off the things she'd done that week - random things which she thought of. "He almost set the entire classroom on fire. If the professor hadn't been paying attention, who knows what would have happened," she reeled off, Nova seeming less interested in her words, and more intrigued by the movement she saw down one of the nearby corridors. "Nova," Sarah said, voice slightly raised but still fond, as the cat jumped from her hands and darted around the corner. Sarah let out a soft sigh, closing her eyes for a few seconds. Apparently they were playing chase again, she thought as she followed Nova around the corner. Her eyes widened as she saw her jumping towards a boy and his cat. For Merlin's sake.

Never Been Here Before...
One foot in front of the other, one step forward that's all. Nothing big or nothing important, stress shouldn't be produced from putting one foot in front of the other but can it?
One boy was walking as slow as they could along the dark and damp dungeon with it's little light but ever so loud echo that could go off at any second the place seemed creepy and so hardly many roamed the halls if they didn't need to. Some only go down their for their potions class while others spent a lot more time down there in the slytherin common room but still the dungeon halls always seemed to be empty and almost eerily quiet.
However one boy dressed in handy me down jeans, a long gray shirt, and a faded greenish jacket with a small young orange cat was roaming the halls slowly and quietly as the boy was lost in thought. As his thoughts consumed him, his worried took over, and his anxiety started to become unbearable the second year was happy that he was alone. That darkness surrounded him and no one would see him this way at least that was what he thought.
Henry was about to sit with his back against the wall when his orange kitty; Loki got a sniff of something and bolted forward. Henry took at his cat and with almost a groan spoke to himself in a whisper " not again," before getting off the floor and going after his mischievous little friend however he didn't know who or where his furry companion was leading him to.
As Henry followed Loki, he watched him approached a boy with his cat along with another girl whom he recognized as Sarah maybe? And her cat, Henry really wasn't in the mood his cat's antics as he chased after him.

Never Been Here Before...
@Sarah Lightwood & @Henry KnightThe Britalian was blissfully ignorant, just peering at the things around him. Imagining how much history lay at his fingertips, fingertips that gently pet at soft lichen and moss. Humming to himself, Piérre thought of the medieval ages when this castle was still young; without blemish and without wear and tear. When magic had newly concocted the newborn building, indenting and purposing it solely for education the new children of the age. A age that he was now new to, and a member of the lion house; the brave the chivalrous and the rowdy as some would have had it.
Those were stereotypes that grated on Piérre, unfortunately, and so the Britalian had taken certain... measures to ensure that he not be prejudiced against.

2- Ravenclaw
3- Gryffindor
4- Slytherin

A green tie beneath a harlequinned black, grey, and white sweater vest suited the occasion nicely, along with Piérre's favorite black breeches. A pair of normal Muggle sneakers completed the look, sneakers that had seen a lot in the past year. One more trek through a dark and drafty dungeon would do them no harm, especially with the amount of running and jumping and grass stains that they had already been damaged by.
Figaro suddenly snapped to attention, and with a start, Piérre tipped his head, focusing on his silver bengal. "Huh? What's wrong, Fig_"
A pair of soft paws jumped into Piérre's chest, and the boy couldn't help but laugh as he toppled backwards onto the stone of the dungeon. Another cat? Was it feral, or was it a sweet little munchkin?! "Haha! Hi baby! How are you, you pretty little thing?" With careful hands, Piérre gently scratched beneath the new cat's chin, attempting to encourage a purr from the fluffy monster. Figaro stood nearby, thrashing his tail back and forth and looking out into the dark. Piérre knew his cat well enough to know that the Bengal was not jealous as many cats would be, and in fact, Figaro loved meeting other animals, especially cats and birds. If Figaro was looking out into the dark, it meant that there was something out there worth looking for. "Hello?" Piérre called, stroking the cat which had tackled him. "I think I found your kitty!"
Not a second later, another cat came running out of the darkness. What a CATastrophy! Piérre laughed and let the first cat jump out of his arms and greet the other two. By this point, Figaro's leash had been dropped and the Silver Bengal's collar had unclasped, allowing the energetic bengal to gingerly sniff at the newcomers, the black tip of his tail flicking back and forth... back and forth...
"I guess my destiny is clear, I'm to be a crazy cat man!" Piérre laughed again, giggling like a child as he sat down and began to pet all three of the cats, allowing them to rub on him and nuzzle him. He squinted into the dark. "Don't have to worry about me stealing them or them running away! I got 'em nice and safe for you!"
If either chose to approach, Piérre would extend a hand out and upward towards them. "Hiya! I'm Piérre Marchonné! I was observing the architecture and giving my cat a walk. What brings you to this place today?"
Figaro would sniff curiously at their feet, more preoccupied with the cats than the people.

Whenever Sarah ended up chasing after Nova, which happened considerably more than one might suspect, she was startled by how quick the small ball of fur was. She wasn’t a particularly large cat, not even a year old, but she possessed a speed Sarah could never quite keep up with. Running around the corner Nova had just disappeared around, Sarah caught sight of a boy sprawled across the floor with Nova attempting to climb all over him.
Her eyes grew wide, worried, knowing how some of the students here felt about cats. But he was smiling, giving Nova the attention she’d clearly been after, and the fact that he didn’t look as though he was about to throw her across the corridor settles Sarah immediately. The silver bengal beside the pair glanced up at her curiously and Sarah realised she’d be here for a while now, knowing how difficult it was to pull Nova away from friendly hands and potential furry friend. Her lips formed into a fond smile as she approached, stepping into the light of one of the torches lining the walls so the boy could see her too. “I’m sorry, she’s far too friendly sometimes,” Sarah apologised, eyes glancing between her overly tactile cat and the dark-haired boy she’d just attacked.
She noted the green tie wrapped around his neck - Slytherin coloured - though she didn’t recognise the boy as someone she’d seen around the common rooms. In fact, she seemed to think she’d seen him in one of the classes she shared with Gryffindor. She was mildly surprised to see the blatant disregard to houses avoiding other house colours, but found herself mildly impressed. She herself was certainly one to try to ignore the divisions the houses created. She found herself chuckling softly at the idea of this boy stealing her cat, knowing that Nova was fiercely loyal to her, no matter how excited she got when she met new people. I’d like to see you try, she mused.
“There are worse fates than crazy cat man,” She spoke as she took note of the new cat who’d joined the impromptu party. She looked down the corridor in search of their owned, eyes falling onto a familiar brunette. She offered Henry a smile and rolled her eyes playfully as she looked back at the cats still attacking the boy not he floor. Piérre he offered.
“Sarah Lightwood. I was trying to wear done my overly energetic kitty,” she smiled. And clearly failing, she added silently. Sarah took a few steps closer, taking hold of Piérre’s extended arm. “Here, let me help you up,” she would pull him in if he allowed it. She glanced down as Nova circled her feet twice, rubbing her body against Sarah’s ankles, before starting to sniff at the silver bengal and the tabby cat. Nova was a curious creature, a trait which mimicked the Slytherin, and her soft purring suggested she was already trying to acquaint herself with the other felines. “This is Nova,” She started, coking her head in the direction of the cats, “she likes to cause trouble and attack people apparently.” She noted the abandoned leash on the stone floor and briefly considered the idea of purchasing one herself. She abandoned the idea when she realised how much she’d miss running after Nova if she wasn’t able to escape. She admittedly liked the adventure of chasing after the kitty.

Permission given to lightly godmode Piérre by @Piérre Marchonné

Henry chased of his cat afraid that he would hiss or attack someone through the dungeon corridor until reaching a point a few feet away from a boy whom he remembered seeing from the tug of war at the field day and believed he was a gryffindor wearing a green almost slytherin like tie and standing in the center of the dungeon with a small kitten definitely younger then his own who was fast approaching the two. Henry slowed his speed to a walked when he saw another cat, a long type with white fur enter the scene as well as a girl with dyed hair and familiar face. Remembering that was Sarah a slytherin whom he met when he fell from a tree, as usual, and into the group of her and two other boy's.
Henry saw them converse a bit between themselves and decided to wait until they were done as he eyed his orange cat who started to judge the two students along their cats as usual. Henry watched as Loki started at the boy who he heard was named Piérre before giving his short approval meow meaning that he liked him. Not to long after, Henry watched Loki stare at Sarah giving her the same approval meow as well but turning his back on her cat as he went over and sniffed at what he assumed was the boy cozy before giving that cat a short approval meow as well.
Henry deciding to get his cat approach the two with a smile as he spoke " hello, sorry about my cat here. He's usually well behaved and don't know why he decided to run especially since he has trust problems," Henry watched as his cat walked over to him and say by his side before he continued " I'm Henry and he's Loki, uh I heard you say your; Piérre right?" Henry then would point to the small sliver Bengal before speaking again " I'm guessing he or she is yours? Their adorable by the way," Henry smiled toward the boy again spotting the green slytherin like tie he was wearing before speaking to Sarah, " nice to see you and Nova again Sarah except under better situations of course."

Never Been Here Before...
@Sarah Lightwood & @Henry KnightPiérre was most certainly an animal kind of person. He had always had an affinity with animals, be it domesticated or wild. Though the flightier ones were harder to convince, squirrels and rabbits and the like, when Piérre had seeds or food, birds loved to stop by and perch on his hand, and when there were frogs and toads, they never struggled, sitting in his palm like it were a lillypad. There was something that Piérre had learned about this sort of magnetic attraction to the forces of nature; if an animal didn’t like the boy, that meant that there was something wrong with the animal.
Here was no exception, as both cats began to fawn on him. They were exceedingly friendly, well kept, if a little excitable. That was why he had gotten a cat in the first place; they were like him, curious, mischievous, and sometimes downright naughty. ”Aw, well don’t worry about that. I can be a bit over friendly myself.” He responded to the girl with bright chartreuse hair, who introduced herself as Sarah and apologized for her cat’s (Nova’s) actions. With a laugh, Piérre shook his head. ”Figaro was pretty crazy as a kitten too, and he still is. I guess right now he’s calm enough to try and investigate you.” Indeed, Figaro was trying to climb her leg, his trimmed, yet still sharp claws attempting to grab a hold to pull himself upwards, but with a click of his fingers, Piérre silently called his silver Bengal back, and Figaro mewed once in a sort of complaint, satisfying himself to investigate the other felines.
Piérre allowed himself to be picked up off the ground, dusting himself off. It was a little damp in the dungeon, and now his back and his rear were a little bit wet as well... but he didn’t care. Worse things had happened, and all he needed to do was cast a quick...
”Scourgify!” Swish-flick, and he was all cleaned up, neat as a pin, and perhaps more so than he had been before, for even his hair was quickly brushed and made neat.
With a huff, Piérre mussed it up again. “Every time. What part of ‘not the hair’ don’t you understand?” The second half of his complaint was directed at his white yew wand, whose swirling engravings flared with green magic once in complaint before going dark. Creasing his brow, Piérre quietly mused to himself. That had never happened before... peculiar.
Focusing his attention back on the encounter, Piérre watched as another boy entered the room. Well! There was the owner of the other kitty! Henry, huh? ”Nice to meetcha!” The tabby crossed from Piérre back to his owner and the Britalian couldn’t help but smile. Someone had been doing some training as well. Figaro was content with batting at Nova’s fluffy tail, and with a squeaking whistle between his teeth, Piérre warned the cat not to accidentally invoke anger. Piérre wasn’t too terribly worried, though... Figaro usually had a good head on his shoulders... unlike his owner. “Loki fits him well! My cat’s name is Figaro, from the Barber of Seville?” There was a chance that the kids didn’t know much about the opera... but perhaps one of them were familiarized with the reference.
Henry seemed to be more focused on Sarah, but Piérre didn’t mind. He was content to watch quietly and get to know the newcomers through observation, something that the boy wasn’t not exceptionally gifted in. But what better way to learn than to practice? And what better way to practice than to put himself into situations of practice? In time, Figaro wandered back to his human brother, and with a “Prrrrr-mau!” Cleared the ground and leapt the four and half feet to land neatly upon Piérre’s shoulders, wrapping about him like a stole.

Never Been Here Before...
The twelve year old would give a small smile and awkward type wave to the two before nodding and listening to the boy; Piérre talk about their cat names.
Which Henry agreed that his furry friend's name did fit him to a extent since he was rather mischievous and could easily get himself into trouble than at certain times also avoid punishment. However Henry mainly named him Loki because the character was at least to the tween was a redemption character from villain to anti villain just not hero which is what he thought his orange cat needed; a redemption. The cat's name at the shop had been chance and already he was return three or so times with major trust issues so Henry thought he could help him on his path to redemption in a way which was why he named him Loki.
However that was a mouthful so instead Henry would say " yeah, Loki can be pretty mischievous among others things. Figaro is a cute and rather fitting name for your feline friend as well and isn't the Barber of Seville opera?" The boy didn't know much about opera but he did know the names and stories of one or two since his father or was it his father's friend that was a fan of opera?
Henry shook off the thought before running a hand through his hair rather quick before asking the other two " would you guys mind me asking what your both doing down here?" Henry then gave rather a small smile before saying " I was headed to the library for a book and then the great lake so Loki could get some air before," the bot glanced down those his cat who was looking up at Piérre with a sort of likening before walking toward his cat and sniffing a bit.
Loki cocked his head to the side before giving the cat a lick on the head which was his way of saying that he liked him. However he mustn't have liked Sarah or Nova since Loki glanced away from the two and walked back to Piérre whom Henry just realized was wearing a green rather slytherin tie but he didn't remember seeing the boy in his house while Loki stood directly in front and gave a rather short but also demanding meow to him as if to ask the boy to per him.
Henry looked kid of awkward as the back of his neck started to sweat from embarrassment because of his cat still he fiddled with the ends of his jacket sleeves to hide his rising anxiety and emotions as he spoke " sorry about Loki he has trust issues and can sometimes be a bit demanding," he would glanced at his cat whom looked like he was giving him a look before looking back at Piérre with his amber eyes.
Henry would rolled his eyes a bit before asking the other boy " your not a slytherin are you because I don't remember seeing you in the common room but you have the tie so?"
