Banishment PV Professors

Two sides of the fading smokescreen lifted, each in a separate direction. One guided by Nora's wand whilst the other followed the crone's bidding. Both the nurse and potions professor duck out the way, each expertly expecting the attack before it happened. Marcus having acquired the knives from his back, threw one as hard as he could straight for his attacker.

Help came, as four other wizards lined up besides them. Pointing their wands simultaneously at the hag that would now be screeching in intense pain and anger. Three knives had sunk deep into her chest as she lunged forward at the troupe with her claws bared. Caradoc's spell flickered off to the side, fizzling over Gargott's head. The spells of Aleksander and Jean-Papi merely singed Etta's shoulders. But the part-goblin groundskeeper managed to hit her right in the open chest wound.

Etta fell to her knees, her breath wheezing in pain as her chest burned from the inside. Her old and now frail looking hands dug deep into the earth as her face broke into a hideous grimace. Wet and dangling hair obscuring her eyes that seemed to be closed in an attempt to resist the amount of hurt she was experiencing at that moment. "No... No no no no NO!" She screamed as a vile hiss escaped between her crooked teeth.

Enduring through deeply rooted hatred, she cried. "This was not... I HATE YOU! I... we... we will..." Etta's body slowly dropped to the floor as the strength in her arms faded. Her face lying in the dirt, she sighed a final breath before her body twitched and... froze. The chest was still simmering underneath and all three ends of the knives were sticking out her back, but the fight was done. For those paying attention to her body, they would notice vermin sprouting from her robes. Rats, cockroaches and other skittering things escaping into the crevices of the earth.

Noticeably tired, all professors took a breath before agreeing to make their way back out again. The place still unstable after the crone's several attempts to bring it down on top of them, it was wise to head for the exits. The thread seemingly had been dealt with. A coven banished from Hogwarts' grounds.

Doorways that led into the cave would be sealed by a handful of them, whilst another did a final sweep through the surrounding hallways. They would find Maya coming to their aid along the way and each would be greeted by Zahid when they re-emerged from the darkness he had been keeping a close eye on by the entrance.
