"Hmm.... I like the color smooth green. More olive if you ask me, but I also love a pink and blue pastely color. Super soothing! Activity... Well, I love.."She thought for a moment. If she answered acting out as a person in front of a mirror, Harmony would think she's crazy. Instead, she answered "I love writing. I wrote to my brothers, I wrote stories, I love writing!"She chuckled. This was quite fun, despite the colder weather. As students were starting to head inside, she asked "Wanna go sit inside? I mean, the Great hall that is."Despite being quite used to cold weather, she didn't enjoy sitting out in it for long periods. She grabbed her bag, making sure everything was inside. Standing up, she stuffed her mittens on, and shook off all the snow that she had gotten stuck onto her scarf and cloak. Despite the temperature, It had been a nice time outside, and she surely wanted to do this again, considering how much fun she had, and hoping that Harmony had enjoyed it too

Not wanting to make it seem like she was trying to leave, Eliza buttoned her coat up, keeping warmth inside. 'Heh, this is pretty fun..' She thought, smiling

When Eliza said that she likes to write, Harmony became interested. "Ooh really? You write? I sometimes write, but it's never very good. I write poems that I'm told are really good, but barely no one takes any interest in them because my parents say that they are so deep and have a lot of meaning to it." Eliza then asked if she wanted to go inside and sit in the Great Hall to continue their conversation. Harmony agreed. She was also cold, but she hadn't wanted to say anything. Harmony watched Eliza collect her things and, after making sure that she had everything, starting to go up to the school. As they were walking back, Harmony started to play with a bracelet on her wrist. She hoped that this wouldn't become a new habit. Her best friend Paige had given it to her. It was blue, white, and silver. She still couldn't believe that people were talking to her. She felt like a completely different person. She couldn't wait to tell her parents and brother that she made friends! "What do you write about? Would you be comfortable if I read some things that you wrote?"Harmony asked Eliza.

"Hmm? Oh! I love writing about nature, bugs, animals, me, I guess. Here, lemme get a story I wrote out!" She fished around in her satchel, grabbing a small scroll. She opened it, and many other pages fell from inside. "Err! S-sorry," She said, bending down to pick them up. She sighed, holding one open, and smashing the others into her bag."Okay, So, I wrote this one called Winters frost. You can tell me if you don't like it, I love constructive criticism.. Ok... here we go. Ahem,

"The winter's frost, it nipped my nose. It stung my lungs and froze my toes. I stare, a haze, as the white cold gaze, flittered down, and covered all in a haze. The icy air, as I walked on, giving away, a sirens song. It called me farther, I followed it as it was falling, and as it hit the ground and was no more, I looked up. The sky was filled, no thing you could see, as I stepped on the wet piles, getting broader. It was cold, I remembered, the water when I fell. I gasped in shock, as it hit my skin. Ice, covered in snow, layed ontop of the lake. Unknowing it was there, I moved on, mesmerized by the magnificent weather. It cracked, collapsed, and I tumbled down. The last thing I remember, was a shout, and it was dark.."She stopped reading for a second. "It's kinda supposed to be a poetic love story... The person who saves the man ends up being a woman, and he falls deeply in love with her. Then later, when they're married, she falls in, forgetting the lake in the wintery cover of snow, and ends up not surviving.. D-do you like it? She rubbed her neck, hoping it wasnt bad, but not too good either.

Harmony stood stone still, listening to the story. She was mesmerized by how well Eliza had captured the detail. "It's kinda supposed to be a poetic love story... Then later, when they're married, she falls in, forgetting the lake in the wintery cover of snow, and ends up not surviving.. D-do you like it?"Eliza stuttered. Harmony opened my eyes. When had she closed them? She hadn't realized that Eliza had stopped reading. Harmony stared at Eliza, amazed. She shook herself out of her trance and said, That was so good! I loved it! You captured the detail so well. I had a perfectly clear image in my head as you read it. You could be an amazing author one day. I've got competition!"Harmony winked. Eliza did a fantastic job. She was an amazing writer. Where had she learned to write like that? Her work was so full of detail, it made Harmony a bit jealous that she couldn't write like that. But this wasn't her moment, it was Eliza's. Harmony started to think back to when she had started to write. She had been told that she was really good, but then got teased and stopped. Maybe if she had stuck with it, she might have been as good as Eliza. But the past was the past.

Eliza smiled, blushing slightly. She was glad that she liked it, and laughed."Heh, well, t-thanks" She smiled, setting the scroll in her bag. She wasn't very open with sharing her writing, but felt confident that time. "I'm glad theres someone here with Something In common! Other wise I'd be SO lonely!" She chuckled, and headed into the hall. It was rather empty, people had started leaving to play in the snow. She sat down, leaving Harmony a place to sit. She wasn't sure if Harmony wanted to eat or not, so she sat where there wasn't food. She smiled, and sighed, setting her bag down and unbuckling her coat. Her scarf fell, and she slid under to pick it up, mittens stuffed in her purse.

"So, err, how's your life away from hogwarts?" She asked kindly, smiling. She liked to get to know people, so if they wanted, she'd include a little bit of info from their life into
her stories. "There's nothing much that's interesting about me," 'Besides that I'm a Metamorphmagus..' She thought, slouching down into her seat, then straightening again as a professor walked by. She took a bite of a carrot, setting it down again.

"So, err, how's your life away from Hogwarts?" Eliza asked. Harmony rubbed the back of her neck uncomfortably. "Um. Life with my family is, nearly perfect. I mean no family is perfect, but you know. My life at my muggle school...let's just say I was that person that was always alone and friendless. I was 4 math grades above my grade. I would finish my tests in 15 minutes. I would constantly get hate mail from other students. I was always alone. I had no friends and was the teachers pet, which I hated. Everyone at my school besides my brother hated me, and I am not exaggerating. I had people come up to me every day telling me that they hated me." Harmony didn't know why she was telling Eliza this. She didn't know why she would tell anyone that. Paige had a right to know, but Eliza was probably going to think that she's a total freak for being in such a high math grade and finishing her tests early. She found herself braiding her hair. Harmony sighed annoyed, and pushed her hair behind her shoulders. "Sorry. It's a bit of a sensitive subject for me." Harmony sat in silence for a bit before she asked, "How's your life outside Hogwarts?"

Eliza squeaked "Oh, N-no! I-it's fine... I get it... I'm a bit of a too-smart-for-school-kid too. My family's always busy. Tons of years apart, parents always busy, my mom and dad work 24/7, my mom at the Wizarding Library and my dad at the Ministry for Magic. My 2 older brothers were always at hogwarts when I was 6, and I pretty much had to care for my 2 year old brother. My mom would leave work later when my 2 younger brothers were littler, and I had nothing to do, not having a tv and all.... I mostly sat around, played with myself, had conversations w-with myself, Owled my brothers, ..." She sighed. "I.... c-can you keep a secret...?" She asked, looking down. She wanted to tell her, to tell her about her ability so bad.. She didn't know if it was right. She decided to go with the flow, and just do it. "I'm... a-a Metamorphm-magus...." She whispered. She was nervous about telling people things like that. Not 100% sure what Harmony would say, she fiddled with her sleeve, her breathing slowly decreasing it's fast pace. 'In my mind, I'm a quiet, conservative, unbusy person. I don't want to be, and I don't have to be. So I do think It'd be best if I did tell her.' She thought.

Eliza sighed like she was thinking about sharing something big, and to Harmony's surprise, that's what happened. "I...c-can you keep a secret?" "Yeah." Harmony replied, not quite sure where this was going. "I'm... a-a Metamorphm-magus...." Eliza whispered as if being a Metamorphmagus was the worst thing in the world. Like it was a crime with being one. "That's so cool! Wait. Meta-what now? What's a Meta-ma-ph-ius?" Harmony asked, both confused and interested. There were times when Harmony wished that she knew more about the wizard world. This was one of those times.

"A-a Metamorphmagus is a person who can change their appearance willingly. I can't control it yet, and sometimes my emotions have to do with it. It err, changes any time, any place, no matter what. It's pretty rare, and runs in my family. She rubbed her neck, eyes growing bluer and a smidge darker as she sat in her seat. "It doesn't hurt or anything... I just.... it makes me feel weird telling people..." She sighed, and wondered how many other people were Metamorphmagi's. Her parents didn't explain much, and she wasn't sure exactly why, or how she could and couldn't at times control it.

She planned, to read up on them in the library. Most likely, too, her teachers and professors would explain things such as that. She wondered, was there a club? A special class? It wasn't, not, not normal, at least that's what she knew. As she looked down at her plate, she opened her mouth, saying "I feel... discriminated... whenever I bring it up... I'm trying not to, it's not like it's MY fault I'm a Metamorph, I just, can't seem to feel like it's something that was decided at birth... You know? Y- n-never mind...." She ate another carrot, and set her lunch to the side.

Eliza ate a carrot and put her food down. "So, you can change what you look like, and you don't like it? If I could change my appearance, my life would be so much more different! But so what if not many people aren't a...a...Metamorphmagus? That's how you say it right? I mean, I think it's really cool. It's not something to be ashamed of! Being a Metamorphmagus makes you who you are! It's like you can't help what color hair you have...actually that's not a good example. Sorry. It's like you can't help what your name is or what house you're in. Personally, I think that being able to change what you look like is SO cool! When you figure out how to control your power, can you show me?" Harmony was acting like a child in a candy store and she hoped that Eliza didn't think less of her for it. This was one of her sides that barely no one had ever seen. Only my parents and brother and now Eliza knew that she had this side. "Sorry. I'm calm now. It's just where I come from, you know, the muggle world, the only way to change your hair color is to dye it, so being able to change it in a blink is not something that I'm used to!"
