Need of Adventure

Daniel had been at Hogwarts a few weeks now and was finally finding his place amongst the students, though he still managed to get lost around the castle, which he always enjoyed, felt like an adventure when he finally found where he was meant to go, though he is sure that will soon fade, and it upsets him that after that, there wouldn't be many adventures, which is what he has enjoyed over everything.
He walked into the courtyard, he had just had Defense against the Dark Arts and had an hour to spare until his next lesson which was Charms, he had his book in his right arm, looking for a spot on the courtyard where he could sit, it was so busy, students traveling through to lessons or just spending spare time with their friends. he'd found a spot in the corner of the courtyard, a small patch of grass underneath a small tree, he'd lean against the stoned wall.
He would place his book onto his lap, opening it up, turning the page looking for a certain topic, though he'd sigh, rubbing his head, he wanted a real adventure, something dangerous, risky, but did not want to do it alone, the school is an adventure on its own, sure, but it felt risk-free, only some places that you could not go, like the different houses' common rooms, though those all required a password to enter, he'd continue thinking, and begins to turn the pages once again, though not focusing on the contents of the book.
He'd look up to the sky, watching the clouds as they move, each cloud has a different shape, he tried to name most that he saw within his head "A spaceship...that one is a monkey, that has the shape of a banana, that one looks like a smiley face.." his thoughts would continue, something to speed the time till his next lesson.

Haley had the next two hours off and decided to use the free time until the next class outside. Today it seemed as if summer would say goodbye before autumn arrived. The sunrays fought their way through the clouds and drove them away and it was a pleasant day to spend outside.
Hale walked through the big entrance door and enjoyed the warm feeling of the sunrays on her skin. It was exceptionally warm and she was wearing only a t-shirt without even a little bit of cold. On the way out she met some groups of students who were on their way to the next class. Here and there Haley greeted a few familiar faces and did not envy them to sit in a stuffy room on this beautiful day.
Lost in thought, she walked around and enjoyed the fresh air in her nostrils. She walked around the courtyard, looking for a nice place in the sun. Just as her gaze wandered along the stone wall, she saw a boy sitting under a tree. She had to smile for a moment - he was probably also enjoying his free time or he's skipping the next class, but she didn't think so.
In the meantime, the courtyard has become almost completely empty, as most of the students were already in the classrooms. She saw a group of four boys whom she did not know. Two girls who were packing their things and heading for the castle, the boy under the tree and herself.
She stopped briefly inside and enjoyed the moment of peace and quiet and decided to sit down just a few meters to the left of the boy under the tree on a green piece of grass. She leaned against the wall, stretched out her legs and put her bag on the ground to her left. Her hands slid to the ground and her fingers played with the soft grass. For a short moment she closed her eyes, leaned her head back against the wall and let the sun shine directly on her face.
Several minutes passed before Haley opened her eyes again. She looked around her, in the meantime the courtyard seemed to have emptied completely. She looked to the right and still saw the boy sitting there. She noticed that his gaze was directed upwards into the sky. But he hadn't closed his eyes like she did, it seemed as if he was watching something. Curiously, her gaze wandered upwards, but at first she didn't notice anything in particular. A blue sky and here and there a few white clouds. Suddenly she noticed a cloud that looked like a smiley face. The corners of her mouth went up and a smile spread across her face. Looking for cloud pictures is something she had not done for ages.
"This one looks like a lion!" it came out of Haleys mouth so loud that the boy could hear it. She looked at him, started laughing and pointed her finger at the cloud.

Daniel would continue to look towards the sky, his mind racing with the many different shapes the clouds formed as they passed, though his thoughts would come to a halt, turning his head towards the loud voice to his side, it was a girl, she had the longest orange hair he'd seen, with big green eyes, for a moment he had thought she'd read his mind or something, and for all he knew, she probably could, he'd fixate his eyes back onto the sky, swiping the blonde hair from his eyes so he could see.
He pays attention to the cloud that the girl said was shaped like a lion, at first he couldn't see it, but after a minute or two, he realized it actually did look like a lion "Oh..I can see it, a Lion..." he'd lookout for another cloud, then laughed once more as he saw the shape "Hey look..its a Rabbit" he said to the girl, the rabbit would appear to be sitting on a patch of more cloud, budging closer towards her and offering out a handshake "Daniel Wolf..Hufflepuff" he'd say, rather proudly "and you are?" giving her a smile.
Rather than looking back up at the clouds, he'd grab out his wand, and begin practicing the hand movements for Reparo, making sure he remembers is, he'd begin to move his wand in a spiral shape infront of his face, though he would not say the incantation, he did not want to actually perform the spell, and rather had nothing to practice it on.

Haley smiled at the boy and watched him briefly as he searched for the lion in the sky. Her gaze also turned to the sky again and just as she spotted a rabbit, she heard from the right that the boy had also spotted it. Haley started laughing "I was just going to say that too!", her gaze continuing to the sky.Interacting with @Daniel Wolf
Haley didn't notice the boy come up to her to introduce himself. She flinched for a moment and laughed nervously, "Oh, Hi, Nice to meet you!" She took his hand and shook it "I'm Haley Rose!" She smiled at him and looked down at her robes "Gryffindor, obviously."
She noticed in the corner of her eye how Daniel started to practice a spell, at first she wasn't sure which one because he didn't say it. Her eyes now moved from Heaven to his wand and after a short observation she was sure it had to be Reparo. Haley began rummaging in her bag. "It's got to be around here somewhere" she grumbled to herself barely comprehensible. "Ahh, I knew it!" Haley had found a pencil at the bottom of her bag. She didn't need it here at Hogwarts but she had gotten it from her father ages ago and it had lived in Haley's bag ever since. She took it in both hands and applied pressure until the pencil broke in half.
She placed the now broken pencil on the ground in front of her and told Daniel with a quick glance to try it out on the pencil. "Go ahead." She encouraged him. "It's easier to practice the spell that way."

Daniel's focus would turn the now broken pencil on the ground, he would raise his wand up slightly further, aiming it somewhat towards the broken pencil, and then looks at Haley with a wide smile "Thanks." looking back towards the pencil, glad to have something to practice on, he never thought of using a pencil.
Once again he'd begin to move his hand in a spiral shape, looking somewhat like an inverted G the hand would be shaking somewhat, probably due to the worriedness he was feeling, not wanting to fail it and embarrass himself, he would say the incantation, whispering it "reh-PAH-roh" though nothing would happen, no spark, no repair, the pencil would remain in two pieces.
He'd look towards Haley, shrugging at her, with a confused look on his face, he would not give up and begins to try the charm again, this time doing his best to keep his hand from shaking, closing his eyes, focusing solely on the pencil and thinking about the pencil repaired, he would begin the hand movements, and also instead of whispering, using his normal sounding voice, not speaking too low or too high he'd say "reh-PAH-roh" and before him a spark would happen and the pencil would be repaired, he looked back at Haley with a smile on his face, picking up the pencil and handing it to her "And a newly repaired pencil, thanks again."

Haley watched Daniel take her pencil and practice his spell on it. Haley noticed that although his execution was correct, his hand was very shaky. In addition, Daniel spoke so softly during his first attempt that she could hardly hear him and at that moment she knew that the first attempt would not work. When Daniel looked over at her she gave him an encouraging look and pointed at the pencil with her gaze to make him understand that he should try again. "You got this!" she tried to encourage him further, confident that the Huffelpuff boy would get it next time.
This time he was more confident and said the spell out loud and - zap - Haley had a whole pencil again. "Thanks. You did great." Replied Haley as she accepted her pencil and smiled at Daniel. She tossed it back into her bag, knowing she probably wouldn't see this one again for the next few weeks or months.
Haley had extra energy again today and didn't want to keep sitting here. She wanted to do something, experience something. Haley stood up with a full head of steam and looked around. But what could she do? She couldn't think of anything, and two was better than one. She looked over at Daniel and gave him a mischievous look. "Do you have any plans for today?" Haley didn't give him a chance to answer her question and continued talking with enthusiasm in her voice. "Let's do something." She reached out to help him up off the ground, hoping very much that he would take her up on her offer.
