Yeah. I was mostly meaning the people I have/am roleplaying with. If you wanted to do a roleplay, it could be say, potions class? or sitting in the great hall having lunch. idk

why does it take so long for my Charms homework to be graded? Should I owl the professor?

It can take up to 2 weeks, and things are generally a bit slower during the holiday season. I would avoid owling unless it’s been over a month, simply because they have received your assignment and they have other site and IRL responsibilities.

If you set up an application for your race before the month it should be fine. When it comes to races, the biggest things that they are looking for are logic and if something extra is being snuck in. For instance, the most common one we get is "my family member was a death eater" or perhaps a canon character being whispered in there someplace. So they scrutinize. As for logic, consider what makes sense for your character. Would it be logical that they survived some ordeal? That your parents have or lacked the resources that they did? It can take up to 2 weeks to hear back. If you have heard back and you have edited your story, make sure to message them back to let them know that you have edited your character so that they can take another look.

It might be a bit slower this month because it is the holiday season and I have asked the staff to prioritize their families and their loved ones during this time. Please be patient. if it exceeds 2 weeks politely reach out, link them even. Make it as easy as possible for them to assist you because they are juggling a lot of things at once.
