Friend?
Charo wandered through the castle doors and onto the Grounds. She stopped, standing right beside the doors that lead into Hogwarts. She saw some people walking and talking around her, but none of them seemed to be particularly interested in her presence. Most of them barely even noticed that she was standing there, but she hadn't exactly expected them to either, so she didn't pay attention to that. Charo started walking away from the castle, not too sure about where she was going, but it didn't bother her.
She had been meeting lots of people recently and it was nice, but she was also fond of being alone for a little bit. Charo opened her bag and started rummaging through it. She continued to walk as she looked through her bag, unaware that someone was coming towards her. Charo felt herself bump into someone and looked away from her bag, trying to find the person she had collided with. It was a Hufflepuff girl with short, black hair. "Sorry, my bad, I wasn't paying attention," Charo apologized, closing her bag. "What's your name? I'm Charo García," she said, smiling. 'I guess you won't be getting that alone time after all, whatever, doesn't matter, what were you going to do anyway?'

The small hufflepuff girl walked her black and yellow house sweaters cling to her body showing her house pride. She let her mind wander before she collided with someone making her let out a small squeak of surprise. “I- Um, I’m sorry. I wasn’t watching where I was going either” she quickly said not wanting the other girl to apologize. “I’m Alex Reed, Nice to meet you Charo” the girl said. Alex sent a small friendly smile that wavered for just a moment before Alex’s green eyes fell to the ground. The smaller girl stood in a bit of silence before looking up noticing the girls uniform. “You’re! You are a hufflepuff too!” Alex said brightening up a little when she found out she found someone of her own house. Not that she didn’t like any of the other houses, but sometimes Hufflepuff is looked over and not really given a chance to prove themselves as they were almost never taken seriously. But that just gave Alex more of a reason to become a great wizard and blow people away! The girl played with a bit of her choppy black hair that ended right above her shoulders. “What do you think of hogwarts? To me this place can be kinda overwhelming” Alex said as quite as a mouse but loud enough for the other girl to hear.

Charo smiled at the girl's apology, "No need to apologize," she said, "Nice to meet you too Alex," Charo added when the fellow Hufflepuff introduced herself as Alex Reed. It seemed like she was happy to have found another Hufflepuff, maybe she hadn't come across many? Charo, on the other hand, had met mostly Hufflepuffs and a few people from other houses, but not many at all. She was expecting to talk to more people from other houses, but it didn't end up that way, which made sense, she had met the most people in the common room and a couple at the Hufflepuff Table in the Great Hall.
“What do you think of Hogwarts? To me this place can be kinda overwhelming.” Charo hadn't thought that Alex would start a conversation, but she was glad that Alex had, she seemed nice. "I like Hogwarts. I kind of forget about missing home and my family because of everything that happens here, for me it kicks in later on once I'm used to this place and it becomes more of an everyday kind of thing to learn here. It'll probably never get boring though, so I don't think I'll miss my home very much, especially since I don't really like living in England. Hogwarts is big, but that just means that there's more stuff to find out and explore, it's less likely to get boring that way." She was talking a lot again, like always, and like always she would also apologize about it. "Yeah, sorry about that, I talk a lot."
