Meeting a new friend
Interacting with @Karkat BoschEliza walked into the library, planning to find a book on Magizoology, or perhaps Gardening. She walked down the long shelves, looking for the right thing. 'History of magic, Hogwarts a History, Clearly in the History section..'She thought, shelving them back. The long, tall coulombs towered over the students studying, and she studied the shelves.
The long, long isles seemed to go on for years, and passing the by restricted section, she looked down a shelf with books on nargles, books on Acromantula, Centaurs, all sorts of creatures. "Ooh, Fantastic beasts and where to find them, too bad I lost my second copy" She whispered, grabbing it from the shelves. She walked around and sat down at a chair. A group of Slytherins shoved her off, and forced her somewhere else. Most of the tables though, were occupied by young witches and wizards. Eliza looked over at a table, an empty table. Well, almost empty. A short, black haired boy sat drawing, on a large white piece of paper.
She set down her Satchel. "M-may I sit here?" The boy looked up at her, brown eyes dull. She sat down, opening the book. She read for a second, and looked at what the boy was doing.
"What are you drawing?" She asked, curiously. The boy looked at her, covering it up. "I've yet to learn about the Muggle customs. Eliza Corrids, nice to meet you," She smiled, holding out her hand. The boy gazed at her, considering as to shake or ignore her. He shook her hand firmly. Eliza smiled, and layed down her book.
She investigated the paper from where she sat. She looked at Karkat and smiled, hoping something would happen. She wasn't the most social person, but tried to be open, in order to meet a few people. She scanned the books, jotting down notes and comments onto her notebook.

As his class ended, Karkat made a beeline straight for the library. it was rather full today but lucky for him there was a table completely empty, satisfied with this find he sat down and pulled out his supplies. he'd always liked to draw so it had become customary for him to spend his offtime in the library, sketching away. he carefully tore a blank piece of paper from his current sketchbook and grabbed a regular pencil for now, he didn't even know what he would draw yet. the boy combed his mind for ideas, he could draw fanart. but of what? as he pondered ideas, he found himself humming that one kokichi fan song in his head. that would be what he drew, a basic warmup of The ultimate supreme leader. easy enough. he began laying down basic shapes, so caught in his art that he was caught by surprise when a person walked up to his table. he wasn't planning on socializing today but there weren't other empty seats, he might as well be a good samaritan. he nodded, turning his attention back to the paper as she sat. Maybe this wouldn't even call for interaction and he could just finish his art. that thought was thrown by her asking what it was that he was drawing. out of instinct he covered up the page but slowly moved his arms away, didn't want to make it seem like he was drawing something unsightly. "its a character from a video game", he mumbled. "I've only just started the drawing however". She introduced herself with a smile and held out a hand to shake. cautiously, he shook her hand, just firm enough to be formal. he introduced himself in the same form, it was still rather strange meeting people who had never experienced what he thought was the norm, it felt weird to call it the muggle world. the word made him uncomfortable. He smiled back at her compliment of his name, and looked back down at his paper. "do you wanna know about the character?", he suggested hoping this show of friendliness would go well.

he lit up at the chance to talk about one of his hyperfixations. "its called Danganronpa, it has a lot of different components" , he fidgeted his hands as he thought of the best way to describe it. "its a series of 3 games, there's also mangas and anime but the first anime sucks. the basic plot is that a bunch of kids are trapped in a school all of them are like the very best at some sort of skill. that skill is called their ultimate, or super high school level skill in the case of the first game" , he took a breath to assure she was still listening. "and one untalented himbo is chosen by draw, that's the ultimate lucky student who ends up being the protagonist. basically, the school is controlled by a robot bear, and the only way to get out is to kill fellow students. once someone dies they hold a class trial, and if they discover the murderer then that person gets a punishment which kills them and the rest of the class gets to continue. if they don't, the murderer is freed and everyone else dies", he took another deep breath, rambling was a tiring act. "this kid I'm drawing is kokichi ouma, ultimate supreme leader" "yeah i play them a lot, its pretty fun", he concluded with a smile.

She gazed down at the paper, with the sketch of the character. 'A wha??' She thought, concentrating at the costume and lines. "What's a err, heh, sorry for the long questions, but what's a robot bear, Anime, Manga, Ultimate, and Game. Do you mean, a board game? S-sorry if that sounded rude," She chuckled, wide eyed staring at the paper. She was anticipating answers. Not that she Needed to know that minute. She sighed, questioning why she acted that way.
As she wondered what the game would be like, she smiled and asked "So, Err, what classes are you looking forward to? I'm super excited for Potions, Herbology and Study of Magical creatures. I love how the magical creatures are so different than the ones in muggle communities. You know, Zools, if, that's what there called. I'm still unaware of muggle customs. Should really start paying attention to those Muggle history classes.." She smiled, rubbing her neck.
The library was almost empty, and as students were picking up there books to go, Eliza sighed, Thinking about how glad she was that there wasn't so much of a crowd anymore. Not that she hated people, it's just, that, many many groups weren't her favorite.
