And the rest is history.

Caradoc smirked. "Yes, I suppose it is." He laughed as he brushed his hand through his hair. Feeling the evening breeze caress his uncovered arms, he realised it might be time to wrap this up. Soon the sun would set and the night would lay itself across the hills and glens of the land. "Are you cold?" The Head of Hufflepuff asked with a smile. "We could head inside and continue our little chat over a warm cup of tea." The thought of holding a warm beverage in your hands was certainly more appealing than remain seated with the wind catching up.
The Irishman would get up on his feet and take a final look towards the sun that was indeed slowly setting course to disappear under the horizon. "How about it then? Fancy a cuppa?" His hands resting on his hips, he'd check out if the old man needed help getting up himself. Not that he didn't have faith in the old guard, but knees did tend to give out first. At lest there wasn't an entire stack of books for them to carry back to the castle. Doc would have got his workout double if that were the case. "C'mon, it'll be fun." He offered his colleague a wink, his smile eager at the chance of getting to know a new friend.

Zahid nodded. It was getting a tad frosty, yes. Maybe he should take a thicker jacket or coat along the next time he went outside to read. Of course, there were also warming charms and they did their job just fine but a coat was simply more cosy. “Yes, it seems the temperature is dropping a little.”, he agreed with a wry smile.
Carefully he nudged Dot back up and waited until the kitten had climbed back into his customary spot inside his jacket that he still liked to be carried around in, before getting up himself easily enough. Only Herodotus' head would peek out above the jacket's zipper and the kitten would purr contently.
With a smile he would add “Tea is always a good idea in my opinion. It is certainly fit for any occasion.” Although personally he would still prefer a glass of tea to a cuppa but... English tea was a fine enough substitute to proper Libyan tea he supposed. When in Rome... He just hoped Caradoc's taste in tea wasn't too outlandish. If he never had to try such a monstrosity as Constanza's gossip circle had favoured for a while, it was too soon.
Zahid quietly fell into step next to Caradoc, following the man's lead into the castle. He looked forward to getting to know his colleague a bit better. Maybe they would even end up friends as he and Professor Jensen had done.
