"Thanks. I'm not that public either" Eliza said sitting down. She smiled and sighed, closing her eyes.
"How's your ride been so far?" Harmony said
"Pretty good, thanks. I mean, besides the fact that I'm starving and tired, pretty good." She looked out the window and sighed, lying back. Looking at her hands, she fidgeted with her sleeve. "Sorry. It's a habit of mine. I can stop if it annoys you. I do it when I'm anxious, Embarrassed, Nervous, you get the idea." She chuckled, sitting up again.
The window was foggy and Eliza stared out as slowly trees passed by.

Cade looked up from Magical Theory once more. Harmony was now asking for his name. Heat flooded to his ears. How could he have been so rude as to not introduce himself? Peggy would have rolled out of her chair in anguish. Setting the book aside once more he opened his mouth to speak but yet again there was another rap on the compartment door.

Now came another ginger witch. She wore glasses and looked a little uncomfortable standing in the door. Just where did all these people come from? The train hadn't stopped anywhere yet. Cade thought it was interesting how popular their compartment had become.

"Err, g-good day, lot. Have you seen the snack trolley? Can't err, seem to find it..." The girl stuttered. Harmony answered her question and invited her inside. Now Cade knew why they were such a target compartment. They were probably the only ones that had sweets. Cade felt bad that the new girl was so hungry, but the Trolley should be around any other minute. The new girl introduced herself as Eliza. Cade had to quickly remind himself of everyone else's names, he was a little bad at remembering. Luna, Everly, Harmony and... right! Eliza!

"Sorry if I came across as rude earlier. I'm not very great at being friendly." Harmony added, and Cade remembered he still had to introduce himself.

"Not a problem, I'm Cade Darkbound, it's good to meet you. I would offer you candy, Eliza, but I've run out." Cade glanced in Everly's direction. She still had his tin of Fizzing Whizbees. Checking the time on his watch he noticed the time had turned to noon. As if called upon by her frequent mentions, the trolley witch scooted her cart just outside their door.

"Anything from the trolley?" She gave the group a bright smile. Cade launched himself to his feet. Digging in his pockets for gold he approached the old woman and purchased a few Chocolate Frogs tossing one of them to Everly who had mentioned wanting to try them. He also purchased a Pumpkin Pasty and returned to his seat, watching the others buy from the trolley.

"Have you got a Chocolate Frog collection Everly? I've got loads of cards, most of them dubs... I'll be willing to trade." He looked at Everly as he opened his frog.

Everly sat in her seat and watching the rolling green hills past, the train zipping by them like... that Muggle thing again, what was it called? The Flabian? Or perhaps the Flash? Something like that.

"What's your name?"

Everly woke with a start, not realizing she had blanked out again. Of course she would. She noticed that another girl had joined them - what was her name? Oh, for heaven's sake. Her hands still clutching the tin, she recapped it, handing it back, fighting the red that threatened to bloom on her cheeks. "My name's Everly. Everly Charlton. Just Everly. Not that I have a nickname." She inwardly winced. "What's your name again?" She asked, directing her question at the newcomer.

Finally, just moments after, the Trolley Witch pushed the cart full of candy towards their compartment. "Anything from the trolley?" Everly's eyes lit up. She grabbed the bag of money beside her and jumped up, her eyes going round as she examined the cart filled with candy. She bought a bit of everything, wanting to try it all - how could you resist when faced with such an amount of sweets?

She grabbed the Chocolate Frog Cade tossed at her and ripped it open eagerly, looking for the card. "Have you got a Chocolate Frog collection Everly?"

"Oh yes! Back at home me and my brothers have a huge pile of Chocolate Frog cards. Granted, we're still missing a few. Oh no, I just got Morgana again." Everly sighed dejectedly and began eating the frog made of chocolate, which was struggling to get free.

*I don't actually have a Chocolate Frog collection but my character's a pureblood, so I figured it wouldn't fit if she didn't (:

Eliza smiled, joy and glee filled her eyes. 'Yes!! The cart!' She dashed up and dug into her pocket, grabbing a small pouch her mother gave her. She handed a few coins over and said "Err, one Bertie Bott's Every Flavoured beans, one licorice wand, one pumpkin pasty, and two chocolate frogs, please."She drooled watching the trolley lady. "Thanks!"She said exchanging with the woman. Sitting back down, she smiled contently, and popped open the frog.
"Elizabeth. Though you could call me Eliza. It's my preferred name."
"How bout you?" Everly smiled, taking a bite of the frog candy.
"Hmm? Oh, nah not really. My two older brother's though, ah the lot of cards they have." She picked up the frog card and inspected it. "Dumbledore! Sweet,"Eliza smiled. She looked at Cade and Everly as they chatted away, and she held up the Bertie Bott's beans and opened her mouth. "So, guys ever had these?"

She smiled. "Oh trust me, you don't. Earwax, is GROSS! Apparently Dumbledore loved them? I'm not sure..." She shrugged, popping a bean in her mouth. She looked outside, the foggy glass cool and musty. "So," She smiled, realizing she had forgotten her trunk in a far train room.
"Oh darn!" She said, jumping up."Sorry, be back!" She said, swinging the door open. She ran down the hall, pushing past kids short and tall. Grabbing her suitcase, she tugged it down the car and set it inside the room. "So, I hear you guys like to read? I love it. Especially Fantastic beasts. It's my favourite MagiZoology book."She smiled, sitting down

Everly began to sink back in her trance again. The new girl turned to her and asked her if she'd ever had Bertie Bott's - the corners of her lips turned up. Fond memories. Like the time when Aster had eaten the pepper flavored bean, the grass flavored bean - Oh, and who could forget the time when her dear older brother had chomped on a wood flavored bean and spit it out in horror?

The other new girl talked in awe about the moving pictures on the Chocolate Frog cards. Everly sat up. "Muggle pictures don't move? Whoa. I wonder if there's a possible way to make Muggle pictures move without magic?" Her eyes widened as she began dreaming up the possibilities.

The new girl - gah, Everly really needed to start remembering names - jumped up and ran out of the compartment. Everly shifted in her seat as the conversation turned to one about earwax flavored beans. She bit her lip and let out a short laugh when she thought about the look on her brother's face if she ever got the delightful chance to watch him eat an earwax flavored bean. The girl who ran off - Eliza, was it? - pushed her trunk into the compartment - that must've been what she had run off for. "So, I hear you guys like to read? I love it. Especially Fantastic beasts. It's my favourite MagiZoology book."

So, the conversation had turned to books? Everly definitely needed to pay more attention to the conversation or her social reputation would surely collapse. Not that she had a social reputation in the first place, anyway. "I mean, I guess I like to read. I went through all our textbooks after we got them from Diagon Alley. My favorite was probably Hogwarts: A History. Did you know that the ceiling of the Great Hall is enchanted? And the Legend of the Chamber of Secrets?" She asked eagerly.

Eliza, Harmony - if it's possible, could you make your text color darker so it's easier to read? I'm having trouble reading your dialogue. Also, Harmony, remember to tag so we know when you post! Eliza, I don't think your tags are working - do they have [*mention][*/mention] (without the asterisks) around the @[person]?

Eliza Smiled and laughed. "That's Hilarious!" She thought 'Hmm.. Wood Flavoured... Never had it' as she ate a bean, bewildered. She immediately spit the candy out. 'Eww... Scratch that..'She said, gagging. She set the candy aside and grabbed a book from her trunk. She looked at Everly, who was talking about Hogwarts a History.

"Wait, You've heard about that?! Isn't it crazy! A tunnel under the girls bathroom.. Creepy! What was in there again? She asked, opening Magical drafts and potions. She looked at the pages, thinking how exciting it was that she was about to learn about these.

'I hope that boys not too bothered by us..'She thought, reading the first few potion names. Her mother and brother had cooked up a few of these, She remembered as the cool paper slid back and forth. The ingredients, she noticed, were strange. Frog legs... frog eyes... Dog tongue? That poor dog! She moved the pages, while trying to listen to the other students, while listing the ingredients she read out of the book.

Sorry for the coloring. I was planning on changing it soon, but forgot. Figured out the mentioning problem!

Cade was getting a little overwhelmed with all the conversations happening at once. So he ate his own chocolate frogs in silence as the girls talked. He got Gideon Crumb who was supposedly the bagpipe player for the group the Weird Sisters. There was another card for Wendelin the Weird who apparently had an obsession for getting burned at the stake. Cade pocketed the cards into his new robes and stared out the compartment window. They were passing by a wooded area. Cade hoped they'd be there soon. His legs were becoming numb.

Cade wasn't really listening until the conversation came up to reading books.

"Chamber of secrets legend? I dunno, wasn't it destroyed in the 90s? Perhaps I'm wrong. But there's no way I'm going to search for it." Cade was telling to truth, some things ought not to be found. It wasn't that Cade was scared, he just didn't want to bother with such locations unless he had to. Perhaps it should remain legendary. Though it was pretty exciting to talk about. "Hogwarts is a big school, I bet there are tons of chambers no one knows about yet." Cade let out a slight yawn, all this excitement drained him. "Do you reckon we'll be there soon?"

Everly tore off the wrapper of another Chocolate Frog and munched on it, glancing at the card briefly to note she'd gotten Merlin again, not really focused on the conversation going on around her. She was watching the outside and the green grounds as the Hogwarts Express zipped by on the tracks.

"The Chamber of Secrets? I mean, I don't think it was destroyed but I'm pretty sure it was blocked off though, right?" Everly shrugged at this, and continued gazing out the window, her arms wrapped around herself protectively. "Hopefully we get there soon enough, I'm getting hungry. This--" she proceeded to point at the shrinking pile of candy "--is quite sweet, but not too filling." The corners of her lips turned up and she sank back down into her seat, not really eager to continue the conversation.

Right then, the train jerked to a stop, steam still blowing out. Everly's eyes lit up and she jumped up, grabbing her trunk and wheeling it out as she walked eagerly towards the train's doors. "See you guys at the Sorting!" She yelled back, her eagerness uncontrollable. And with that, she was gone.
