A new friend in the Library
Roman had never really liked reading all that much. He much preferred to be outside doing activities with his sister, Jessie. However today he had to read a book for a research project for Defence against the Dark Arts. Roman dragged himself over to the library and took a seat alone at one of the tables. There weren't a lot of people there since school had just finished for the day and most people were with their friends or studying in their common rooms. Some people would choose to finish their homework later especially because today was a Friday but Roman didn't enjoy research projects and decided to get it over with right then and there.
Roman took out his DADA book and flip through the pages until he found the assignment. He began to look around for a book he could use and after several minutes he found one. He went back to his seat and started reading and writing down points he thought were important. Roman didn't mind being alone, he found it comforting actually. Making new friends was hard for him because he was so shy, so he remained without a friend.
A few minutes pass by and Roman suddenly started to hear footsteps coming his way. He looked forward towards where the steps were coming from and listened as they got louder and louder.
